CN 3023 EJ&E Heritage Unit at Ackerville WI

I got a little creative today to catch CN 3023 leading a northbound mixed freight (M343?) through Ackerville, Wisconsin, on a rainy Saturday morning. I wanted an aerial shot of the unit for something a little different than my other videos, but the rain posed a problem. As such, I used the Hwy 164 overpass bridge as a rain shelter to keep my drone and my person dry.

The gunshot noises are coming from Daniel Boone Conservation League shooting range located about seven miles southwest of Ackerville on Hwy 167.

I know where the Daniel Boone range is and I'm not so sure that's where the shots were coming from. They sounded like they were very close to the tracks. I also don't think they shoot what sounded like semi-automatic guns at a range?

@@RugbyJunction Washington County Sheriff also has a shooting range at Heritage Trails County Park (Highway E & Highway 164) which is closer to your location. I forgot about that when I posted about Daniel Boone.

@@eh1161he Ah, that sounds more like it... And I didn't know about that range. I'll have to be super careful next time I hike there! 😳
