Great stuff again! I cant handle stadium concerts anymore sadly so missed Boss in Cardiff ( I live 19 miles from Principality) yesterday did go to the first two there. Hope it was as good for you. Wow, two very early dates on the European tour! Yes David, the man is an incredible, how on earth does he keep going that long?! I play in a Kinks tribute and on the following weekend we played a biggish gig and played for 90 minutes. As I came off I thought to myself Bruce would have another 90 minutes to go……incredible passion and stamina even at 74! Glad you liked the stories, have a great time in Sunderland. Mike

Really pleased with the vclt from Mike. That is Viv’s only solo album, and I must say I really like it. The songwriting is strong, her lead vox take a little getting use to, but I love them now. I must get that early autobiography, that sounds excellent. Definitely Starman……I’d like to think. Mum had a brilliant sense of humour, so she loved that sort of fun. Hi Brian, yes great vclt from Mike. I wasn’t aware that Viv Albertine had done anything solo until the RSD 12” came out. Vermillion Border is a very good album with some genuinely exceptional songs. The Flesh EP is really excellent. If it weren’t for my Dad I would never have heard Neil Diamond to be honest. But…..to be honest, I must say his songwriting is very classy. I have found that singing ND songs over the years, in a few cover bands, his songs are very easy to sing and flow effortlessly, I guess making the songwriting quality. So ND not exactly my cup of tea or a genre I would get anywhere near, but he certainly had something a special imho. Are you preparing for the big meet up with the Bishop of Melbournia! I’m jealous, I’d love to meet up with you guys!! Mike

I will check out the music and I think I will save an image of the cover photo because I like it so much! Paused to save the album cover and listen to a song: The Madness of Clouds. Very pleasant. I’ll have to hear a bit more but good start.
