Thank you so much for watching and for your patience while we got part 2 finished! We hope you enjoy! ✨ We're aiming to release future videos much faster, because we have so many ideas and projects planned that we can’t wait to get to! Stay tuned for more adventures! ✨
Suggestion for next time if you ever plan to build your own base/display stand from foam again and still want to use the same glue. Do what wedding cake makers do and stab wood toothpicks or wooden dowels into each layer to hold them in place where you can. Cake decorators do this to keep the cakes from shifting apart due to the filling that goes between each Cake layer for stability. I understand that this may not work for the top layers and the wood layer but it could help save some time. You are the professional so maybe I don't understand why this can work in theory but not in practice so if I am wrong it is ok to correct me so that I don't give bad advice in the future.
if you don't seal the corks they'll rot! usually corks plugging liquid are sealed with wax to help aid their stoppering abilities. These look absolutely amazing, though!! Great job! ❤
I love that you guys quietly put big effort into safety! Masks, gloves, respirators - all super important and often over looked! You're doing amazing, and I can't wait to see whats next!
HOLY CRAP!!! You probably got this a lot, but oh my god, i LOVE the final product!!! I really liked the details that went into that snake on the animal shapeshifting, this was insane dedication!! And the tiny ladybugs were adorable, i squealed when i saw them LOL. I’m SUPER excited to see what future projects are in store!! 😚🤞🏼
Thank you so much!! Your kind words and support mean the world to us and we are so happy you enjoyed the project! This was such a huge adventure and so much fun! The ladybugs were so cute and so much fun to make! We weren't able to fit how they were made into the video, but they were just a few drops of hot glue and some paint! We can't wait to bring so many more projects to the channel! 🐞✨
Don’t know which one is my favourite but I love the idea that the bottle's appearance changes once the potion is correctly brewed, or that each potion maker has to design a bottle worthy of these cool potions 😂
I knew it was going to be cool, but that doesn't even begin to describe the final result! Wow. Seriously, this is fantastic!!!! If you have any big projects like this in the future, I hope you take this as a sign that 2-part videos are still great! I hope all the positive feedback on part 1 helped keep your spirits up for the second half. Creative burnout is so real! Thanks so much for posting! The electronics were so interesting to see!
Thank you so so much! We were so nervous about splitting this project up into 2-parts, but we are so happy that you enjoyed it! Thank you for letting us know! Your support and encouragement means so much to us! ✨
Everytime I watch your videos I smell an underrated channel 😮💨 love your art style and being able to learn new techniques from watching you work, the snake skin was amazing!
Thank you so much! We are so happy you like it! We had so much fun designing the eye and frosting the glass! Also, the UV resin droplets were so much fun to put on the bottle!
This project was so cool!!! I loved all the detail on the animal shapeshifter potion and the flight potions wings were so pretty but I think overall the health was my favourite design. I can’t believe you sculpted and painted around the macrame, I would have taken that stuff off to sculpt and only tied it on at the very end, but it looked so cool how the sculpted details wove into the macrame in the end 😮
Wow, thank you so much!! The health potion was one of our favorites too and we're so happy you like it! What started as a happy accident really worked out because we had so much fun working the clay into the macrame design!
Thank you so much! We are so happy you enjoyed our potions quest and thank you for your patience as we got part 2 finished! Many more adventures to come! ✨
The final result is STUNNING! This project is so beautiful and really worth the wait! You guys put so much time and dedication into the piece(s), the production, the editing, and even the safety measure. I’m so happy I clicked the first part of this project and can’t wait to see your next one. Keep up the great work!❤
I adore everything about how these came out oml!!! I also commented on the last part to this suggesting liquid latex as an alternative to masking fluid; I definitely recommend this next time you’re doing a project like this, you won’t run into the over-curing issue with it like you did here, as it stays really rubbery and comparatively very easy to remove. :)
it was well worth the wait! the final products turned out fantastic especially the detail on the snake and the wings on the flight potion?? and all the ladybirds were such a cute touch, y'all knocked it out of the park!
Thank you so much for the honesty, transparency, and consideration for sensitivities (light, sound) in your video! It’s highly appreciated :) I’d only suggest when working with clay to trying scoring the clay/surface clay is going on to make sure it sticks stronger together. Absolutely breath-taking work!!! ❤
Scoring the clay is a great idea, and we really appreciate it!! Thank you so much for watching our potions quest! We're so happy you enjoyed it, and we can't wait to make more potions! ✨
Thank you! That means so much to us! We were a bit nervous about our health potion in the beginning because it was such a different design than what has been done before, but we are so happy with the results - and we are so happy you enjoyed it too! ☀️🌱✨
Wow! You guys are so creative; I really enjoy watching the design/drawing process part of this project a lot. It's always really interesting to see how the final product compares to the initial sketches. I'm a big fan of the fantasy genre too and thought these potions you made would fit right into any world with magic and swords and knights gallivanting about on horses; they look fantastical, ethereal and delicate. Great job. Your videos also have a very high production value and they're very polished. I think my favorite potion is the health one; so hard to choose though as they all came out very lovely!
Thank you so so much! Your encouragement really means a lot to us! We had so much fun with this project and can't wait to craft more potions! The health potion is one of our favorites too!
I rarely comment on videos but I just had to say that holy cow I have loved watching the process of these! Your vision, painting skills and both of your other talents to create these are unmatched! Truly beautiful and a work of art!
Your kind words and support mean so much to us, thank you so much! This adventure was so much bigger than we had anticipated, but was so much fun and we can't wait to craft more! ✨
You channel deserves so much more followers, this project was so nice to watch and it turned out amazing! Hope to see more of your projects in the future
these all turned out so beautifully!!! And I’m so glad you circled back about the masking fluid because I remember you mentioning it in the last video and thinking “wow, what a great idea, I’m gonna try that!” So good to know to still proceed with caution! lol
Thank you so much! We're so glad it was helpful! @ZenZeszotek also mentioned liquid latex as an alternative to masking fluid, it has a thicker consistency. We're definitely going to give liquid latex a try in the future!
CANNOT BELIEVE WITH MINE OWN TWO EYES!!! This is incredible!!!! the artistry, the camera work????? I can't wait to see what you put out next, Ty UA-cam algorithm for popping this onto my feed y'all are so talented!! Crazy Underrated channel wowowowowwowowow!!!!!!!!! 🥰🤩🍀
Omg the paint job on that snake is EPIC! It would be cool to use tulle/mesh to add texture so you could get that extra depth (and maybe get away with a simpler paint job); possibly the plastic netting that pearl onions and garlic are sometimes sold in. For the smaller bottles, you could saw off a piece of a nail and use that as a stir bar; as long as it's magnetic it should still spin. It'd be fun to draw some growth rings on the stump surface like you have in the sketch, maybe a bit of shading in places. I love love LOVE the little ladybugs exploring everything! Now I want to make a zillion potion bottles even though I have multiple other projects going on 😂😅
Thank you so much!! These are such great ideas! We will definitely remember these for future projects (maybe even more potions!) Also, we are so happy you like the ladybugs! Unfortunately we couldn't fit how the ladybugs were made into this video, but hopefully a short soon! 🐞
thats absolutely amazing! Youre love fro detail is so shown and youre craftmanship it absolutley top notch! Cant wait to see whats next! Fauntastic greetings!
You guys have such an awesome vibe, reminds me of Wicked Makers or Evan and Katelyn! Can't wait to see what other fabulous projects y'all have in mind.
Thank you! We are big fans of Wicked Makers and Evan and Katelyn! We've got so many projects planned that we can't wait to bring to the channel! Thank you for joining us! ✨
I am so impressed with the potion bottles you made!! I think at this point I've watched all creators that make potions on youtube and a lot of them are very repetitive (really pretty, but they all seem similar at some point). As much as I'm glad making a potion bottle is so easy I always felt like they lacked the ultimate "OOMPH" xD But yours are wonderful!!! ♥ If the lights under them would fit the potion color that would be so perfect, but even as is they are amazing!
Thank you so so much!! Your kind words and support mean so much to us and we are so happy you enjoyed our potions! We had so much fun making them and can't wait to make more! We agree the warm yellow lights under all the potions may not have worked exactly as we had hoped, and will definitley try other colors next time! Thank you again!! ✨
I was awaiting the results soon in this video and they didn't disappoint. Your Content is Impressive! 👏👏👏Every potion looks magnificent. 💋👌So sweet! This vignette would be awesome in an alchemist, wizard, or witch role play. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Obsessed with the final result! Everything came out beautifully! My favorite is the little SQC carved into the stand; so cute. Also, thank you for putting in the parts when things don't go so well; it's reassuring to see that things can happen and in the end everything works out! I hope you both are so proud of your work and see you in the next video!
Thank you so so much!! Caleb had the idea at the last minute to carve SQC into the stump, and it was so cool, and we are so happy you like it! We always want to show both the triumphs and the struggles of our adventures because it's all part of the creative journey (especially the struggles 😅) We really appreciate your feedback and can't wait for the next adventure! ✨
This is just so amazing!!!!!! The fake log is stunning. The magnets thing to move the potions is geniuos. Love this a lot. In a game rol of magic I imagine this like a set up the player take them diretecly from the stand and "drink"it can be a cool visual elemnten.
Thank you so much! Invisibility was actually one of our last potions to be designed, it was challenging! But we love how it turned out and we are so happy you enjoyed it!
Amazing work! Well-made video and stunning job crafting the potions and base, I admire how much work you put into this. I‘ve always loved crafting stuff myself and seeing other people create wonderful things. Glad I found your channel.
Thank you so much! It was such a massively fun project, we learned so much! We are so happy you're here, welcome to the channel! Also, what are some things you love to craft??
@@SideQuestCrafting I enjoy trying new stuff, new media as well as projects in general. I work a lot with yarn and fabrics - crochet, knitting, bit sewing, embroidery, you name it. Also had a few projects with wood, mostly learning to handle the material and tools so far, involving making boxes and magic wands, but also a bit of model making. I‘d love to learn about epoxy (and probably xps foam as well), when I get a chance to, I‘ve seen people doing amazing things with it, including you. Couldn’t tell which of the named ones I like best, really, depends on what I feel like doing and I have cherished memories of so many projects.
@@_leafling_ That's amazing! Those all sound like so much fun and that they really mean a lot to you! We can't wait to try some of those out too! We wish you the best in all your crafting adventures! ✨
Oh god, I can't pick just one favorite. all the potions were so cool and the trunk was perfect. Since you asked for ideas for projects, I think it would be cool if you made a portal gun (from the game "Portal")
Thank you so much!! This was such a huge project that turned out so much better than we could have imagined! And, thank you for the project idea, we love it!! 🩵 We will definitely keep a Portal gun in mind for future adventures! 🧡
Thanks so much!! Adding detail to the wood itself is such a great idea that was a missed opportunity! But we will definitely keep this in mind for future projects!
THEY ARE AWESOME!! Absolutely amazing!!! I would say that the potions look way cooler in the video than they did in the thumbnail. Maybe consider in the future using a thumbnail like the scene at the end with the smoke and lights? I’m not sure. I don’t know what UA-cam algorithm likes, but that’s my thought. Anyhow, great video. Incredibly engaging and just masterful workmanship. I have subscribed for sure!!
Thank you so much!! We are so happy you enjoyed them and we appreciate your feedback! We will definitely keep this in mind and explore new thumbnail layouts in the future! Welcome to the channel! ✨
Iv never clicked on a notification so fast, definitely worth the wait ❤ you guys are extremely talented and I hope your channel continues to grow. I also love that your respond and interact with your subscribers, a lot of creators don’t seem to do that. The love potion is my favourite, also I was thinking of trying this project out for myself, what type of paint are you using for the bottles is it acrylic?
Thank you so much!! Your support and encouragement really mean a lot to us! We're so happy you enjoyed the love potion, it was so much fun to make!🌹Also, the type of paint we used was acrylic paint! (with various finishes like metallic, iridescent, or matte, depending on the bottle theme) We'd love to see what potions you create!! ✨
This is amazing!!!! I love crafting videos and fantasy stuff and my algorithm gave me you guys!! Can't wait to see what you come up with next ty for the awesome videos!!!
With such Beautifully Descriptively Decorated Potion Bottles I feel like my untrained perception check to identify their contents Should have been Far More Successful! Todd!!
Thank you! That means a lot to us! We were so nervous over the magic potion in the beginning, especially because we had never smashed UV resin crystals before, but it turned out exactly as we had hoped! We're so glad you liked it! ✨
i am SO glad i subscribed to see part 2!!!! ya’ll absolutely knocked it out of the park, these all look completely stunning!!! my fave in both concept and execution def is the invisibility potion, the etched glass is such a uniquely clever idea. but i also wanna say the snake on the animal shapeshifting potion is beautiful, i literally gasped out loud when i saw the technique u used to paint the scales! every potion looks so so so incredible, and i cannot WAIT to see what yall cook up next! im feeling super inspired 💕💕
Thank you so so much!! We are so happy you enjoyed our potions adventure! Both the Invisibility and Animal Shapeshifting potions were so much fun to make and design in their own ways. It actually took us a bit longer to design Invisibility than all the other potions, which is ironic because it was one of the quickest bottles to craft! To know that you are feeling inspired means so much to us! Many more adventures to come! ✨

Another incredible video!! I'm so impressed by you guys. You make it so interesting and relateable.I had no idea you could smash up UV resin like that! My favourite one was the sleep potion.Super happy I found this channel. You should try making some of the wonderous items from dnd. A fun one would be some of the rings or cloaks. Like the ring of mind-sheilding or the cloak of many fashions!
Thank you so so much! Your kind words and support mean the world to us and we are so happy you enjoyed our potions quest! The sleep potion was so fun to sculpt and make, we really like the crescent moon holding up the bottle! Also, we had no idea we could smash up UV resin too! It was such a fun, new thing to try and it worked out really well! We would LOVE to make wondrous items from D&D, so many fun items and things to make! Definitely will be exploring this in the future! ✨🌙
Love this! I wish there were some "rings" on the top of the stump using a few different stain colors (or watered down paint colors) but other than that tiny detail everything looks perfect!
I have just discovered your channel and I have to say: Wow! I love your videos, I love your creativity! And when I subscribed I was shocked that you don't have a lot more subscribers 😅 The qualitiy of your videos is so good. You deserve a lot more people to see them. Really enjoy it! Greetings from Germany 🫶🏼😊
I was going to suggest the use of long pins to keep the layers from sliding as the glue set, but I figured you would have bush-rigged a solution well before then! Excellent outcome nonetheless! I am impressed!
First of all, holy moly these look stunning! As someone who also uses air-dry clay, I never considered spraying with primer! Will have to do it with my next project! Also just out of curiosity, what metal did you use inside the bottles themselves? Im just curious as to if it might discolour the liquid over time? Also would it possibly damage the glass from the inside when spinning? Just silly little worries I have because the end results are too gorgeous to be ruined XD
Thank you so much! We are so happy you enjoyed them! To answer your question, we used 8x2mm rare earth magnets from Amazon. Since they can rust and discolor the liquid, we coated them with a thin layer of hot glue. Unfortunately, for time reasons, we didn't include this process in the video. But, essentially, we spread hot glue on wax paper, placed a stack of about 8 magnets on it (depending on the bottle size), carefully rolled them up, once the glue was dry we removed the wax paper, trimmed any excess bits, then sealed the ends with more glue. Hopefully, this will prolong the magnets from rusting and the liquid discoloring. The hot glue encasing also helps the magnets to not scratch the glass. It's been a few months, and so far so good! You may also be able to try resin? We had considered this. Thank you for the amazing question! Hope this helps! ✨
Thank you so much for watching and for your patience while we got part 2 finished! We hope you enjoy! ✨
We're aiming to release future videos much faster, because we have so many ideas and projects planned that we can’t wait to get to!

You are the professional so maybe I don't understand why this can work in theory but not in practice so if I am wrong it is ok to correct me so that I don't give bad advice in the future.
these are without a doubt the best potions on youtube. we def need a part 2, or maybe some alchemy ingredient bottles
if you don't seal the corks they'll rot! usually corks plugging liquid are sealed with wax to help aid their stoppering abilities. These look absolutely amazing, though!! Great job! ❤

That's so much work and so magical outcome, I'm in awe, guys ❤
I was awaiting the results soon in this video and they didn't disappoint. Your Content is Impressive! 👏👏👏Every potion looks magnificent. 💋👌So sweet! This vignette would be awesome in an alchemist, wizard, or witch role play. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Thank you so much!!! We really appreciate your kind words and support! A wizard/witch/alchemist's workshop makes for a fun studio idea! ✨
They all turned out amazing !
Thank you so much!!
I love how you edit those videos and the project is super cool!
Thank you so much! Your kind words mean so much to us! We're so happy you like them! ✨
We always want to show both the triumphs and the struggles of our adventures because it's all part of the creative journey (especially the struggles 😅)
We really appreciate your feedback and can't wait for the next adventure! ✨
This is just so amazing!!!!!! The fake log is stunning. The magnets thing to move the potions is geniuos. Love this a lot. In a game rol of magic I imagine this like a set up the player take them diretecly from the stand and "drink"it can be a cool visual elemnten.
That sounds so cool!! Thank you so much for watching and for your support!
Wow that was AWESOME! 🤩
Thank you so much! We are so happy you enjoyed it!
I love the invisibility potion! That’s so creative and it turned out amazing!
Thank you so much! Invisibility was actually one of our last potions to be designed, it was challenging! But we love how it turned out and we are so happy you enjoyed it!
@@SideQuestCrafting I can see how it would difficult, but it definitely turned out amazing! They all look like something straight out of a storybook!
The attention to detail is so satisfying, yall gained a new subscriber. Cant wait for future builds.
Thank you so much!! The details are so much fun and one of our favorite parts! Welcome to the channel! ✨
Loved it! It looks amazing, and the details are si well done. Loved the tiny ladybugs too ❤
Thank you so much! 🐞✨
Beautifully done ❤
Thank you!!
This was amazing!! It so awesome seeing how passionate you both were, I’d love to see you guys make prop weapons of some sort, definitely subscribing!
Thank you so much! Your support means the world to us and welcome to the channel! We'd love to make prop weapons and other adventuring items! ✨
These look wyckedly awesome, great job
Thank you so much!
I hope to see more videos 😊 the work you do it's really really pretty
Thank you so much! We have so many more adventures and videos that we can't wait to dive into!
this is so awesome! i do wish you’d added some detail to the wood itself but this is just such a cool idea! love it!
Thanks so much!! Adding detail to the wood itself is such a great idea that was a missed opportunity! But we will definitely keep this in mind for future projects!
Oh my gosh, those look amazing!!! I'm glad everything worked out well with the glue :]
Thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed them! The glue was super stressful but we are so happy it all worked out! Thank you for your support!
This is so cool! Can't wait to see what y'all do next 😊
Thank you so much! ✨
You should be so proud these are beautiful, i especially like the strength potion.
Thank you so much!!! We're so happy with how they turned out and so happy you like them! Strength is one of our favorites too!
I'm so glad you came up on my recommended. These are beautiful
Thank you! We are so happy you are here and that you enjoyed our adventure! ✨
Holy cow these are amazing. Can’t imagine how long all of the scales on the snake took, and it’s just one bottle!
Thank you!! The scales were quite the adventure, but so much fun! 🐍✨
Omg it looks so good. I was so excited to see part 2❤
Thank you so much!! We are so glad you enjoyed our potions quest!
It's beautiful! I love it!
Thank you so much!!
(with various finishes like metallic, iridescent, or matte, depending on the bottle theme)
We'd love to see what potions you create!! ✨
These are so beautiful!
Thank you so much!!
This is amazing!!!! I love crafting videos and fantasy stuff and my algorithm gave me you guys!! Can't wait to see what you come up with next ty for the awesome videos!!!
Thank you so much!! We are so happy you enjoyed our potions quest! Can't wait to share our next project! ✨
With such Beautifully Descriptively Decorated Potion Bottles I feel like my untrained perception check to identify their contents Should have been Far More Successful! Todd!!
Thank you so much! Your kind words mean so much to us! Here’s hoping your next roll grants you True Sight to reveal all the hidden magic! ✨
I stumbled upon the Part 1 of this yesterday and I was instantly hooked

I think I had more fun in watching you make the tree stump than I did watching you make the potions 😅
Thank you! The tree stump was such a fun adventure, one we'd love to do again! 🌱
THIS IS SUPER SICK OMGGGGG
THANK YOU!
Stunning work!
Thank you so much!
Crafty 11yo is going to be busy trying to copy this during spring holidays coming up!
Thank you! We hope crafty 11yo has lots of fun making potions! We hope the wait wasn't too long, thank you for your patience!
I loved watching you make these and the results are amazing! I'm so glad I found your channel!

Im glad i found you guys ❤️ this is awesome
Thank you so much! Welcome! ✨
The ladybugs!!! 🐞 squeeeeeee!
Thank you! 🐞🌱
It looks soooo cool my favorite potion is the magic potion
Incredible!!! 😍
Thank you!! ✨
Love this! I wish there were some "rings" on the top of the stump using a few different stain colors (or watered down paint colors) but other than that tiny detail everything looks perfect!
Thank you! That is such a great idea! 🌱
Never watched a video so early! I love them so, so much!!!
Thank you so much!!
Really glad to have found your channel! Brilliant videos and great production. Can't wait to see more from you!
Thank you so much! So many more adventures to come! ✨
Hi to clarify for the dnd fans or dungeon meshi
Magic is mana
Animal shapeshifting is Wildshape
Thank you for sharing! We appreciate the input! 🎲✨
I have just discovered your channel and I have to say: Wow! I love your videos, I love your creativity! And when I subscribed I was shocked that you don't have a lot more subscribers 😅
The qualitiy of your videos is so good. You deserve a lot more people to see them. Really enjoy it!
Greetings from Germany 🫶🏼😊
Greetings! Hallo!
Thank you so so much for watching and for your kind words and support! We are so glad you're here! Welcome to the channel! ✨
I was going to suggest the use of long pins to keep the layers from sliding as the glue set, but I figured you would have bush-rigged a solution well before then!
Excellent outcome nonetheless! I am impressed!
Thank you! It was definitely an unexpected surprise struggle, but a great learning point! Thank you for your support!
It's impossible to choose - they're all awesome!
Thank you! Its hard for us to choose a favorite too!
so much detail!!
We love detail! Thank you so much! ✨
This was incredible! My favorite is the purple(sleep? I ironically am about to sleeo)
Thank you! The sleep potion was so much fun to design and make! Sweet dreams! ✨🌙
