Joe’s channel was the first survival/outdoor channel I followed on YT many many years ago before it really became a thing. Still one of if not my favorite to watch. Its been a journey. Glad you still going strong Joe!
Same here to be perfectly honest. Joe and Mike from MCQBushcraft, they have learned me so much by watching and enjoying their expertise and experiences. I still dont go out camping in cold weather (just a bit of a pussy because I can handle the cold, its just the idea of being cold I guess?) But yeah, this guy makes me want to go camping. Even in a winter situation...😂
I discovered the joys of winter hammock camping last year…. I didn’t get out this winter…. Other priorities, but it’s fun watching you and Wolfie get it done!
Looks like Joe has been re-energized. Looks healthy and Happy. Without a doubt, my favorite UA-camr. Due to medical reasons I can't do these things, but he makes you feel like you are there with him. A skilled cameraman.
Thank you , Joe , for taking us on this jououny with you and Wolf! Hope you and your family are doing well. It is a pleasure and very relaxing to watch your content! Hope you are having fun and not burned out anymore. But if you need a break - we got you! I am always up for a Joe video!
Ol' Joe's all tucked in and warm in the hammock, wakes up, calls Wolfie, who wakes up not happy that he has to get up and walk on that cold white stuff to go give ol' Joe some luv.
Joe, Mister Joe, I don't know any 'non-UA-cam bushcrafters' but I admit you are the King here. And, as your wife once said, you are also 'The best actor'. I love every minute of any of your videos.
I absolutely LOVE that you don't edit out anything that "goes wrong". Those "oopsie moments" help us all understand that sometimes bush camping is problem solving and no body gets it perfect every time. You misjudged the distance between the trees, doh.. look around, voila, move it. The camera falls over, you forget a spork, whatever.. there are more lessons to be learned by recognizing that you have to adapt and overcome than in a video where everything goes exactly as planned. LOVE that you're back! and having fun!
Yeah a pretty lackluster winter here in upstate NY. Lots of rain the last couple weeks and barely any sun for months. Grey. Wolfe looked so cozy on his sleeping pad. Didn’t look like he was ready to get up. Toe warmers in your boots about 4am helps. Another fun outing with young Joseph. Your time with your family did you good. Glad to see you back.
I’ve watched your videos for years and still so love them. It’s weird to feel like you know someone who doesn’t have a freaking clue who I am. 😂 But, I so have enjoyed your videos over the years including your amazing wife and kiddlies and the dogs along the way. Thanks, Joe, for all the enjoyment. You’re a treasure.
So appreciate you and the content you put out. I’m sure it seems maybe basic and monotonous to you, but we just love watching every minute. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride… my favorite by far!
Hammock camping! Whoop! Whoop! It has my preference, by far. The gentle Sway of the hammock in the wind.. ❤️ Om going to enjoy this video by a campfire in the backyard. 😂
Joe was one of the first outdoor YT channels that I first paid attention to. There weren’t many in the genre in the beginning. Always enjoyed a old school joe video
Absolutely different in Australia. Temperatures wise, probably coldest summer we have ever had. Love your videos say hi to wolfie and the fam from all of Australia 🇦🇺
I’ve followed you for about 12 years now, and it’s always been exciting to see when your new videos drop into my notifications. /cheers to another 12 years.
Hey Joe. Love the vids, glad you're back. Wolf seems like you finally have that super cool dog to make the pain of Scout's absence ease a little. Love ya both bro 👍
Greetings from Alaska, Joe. Warm winter here also. Looks like Sir Wolf has come a long way in a short time to becoming the best camping partner he can be. I hope you have many, many happy years together. Awesome video as always. Hi to Will and the girls from me, here in Alaska. I started hammock camping back in 1974 when I was on a boat in Puerto Rico. Draped a piece of visqueen (spelling?) over it. Bunched up the foot part and duct taped it where the rope attaches. Taped the bottom of the side flaps together so they wouldn't fly away. I'd push it down towards the foot, and if it rained I could reach down and pull it up over my head. Slept through a lot of rain storms and snow in Texas. Never got wet, and stayed very warm in the winter. All the best to you and your family.
Hey Joe, great job. Love the stick stove. Jealous you have such a good dog. What a great hiking companion. thank you for all the years and hard work you have put into this channel. I've learned a lot from you my friend
Thanks for the video Joe, its good to see you out and about. When you're hiking with the dawg on the lead, you might consider clipping the lead to a loop on one of your backpack straps, right below your collarbone, non-dominant side. That keeps both hands free for trekking poles, or for a rifle slung _under_ your non-shooting shoulder. With the rifle, you control the muzzle with the non-shooting hand on the fore-end, and if you need to take a shot, the sling will come naturally off your shoulder, and the rifle into shooting position, without interfering with the dog lead. FWIW, I learned this when hunting in Germany.
The Legend returns!! Don’t stop cranking them out Joe!! Let’s get 2 million subs! You deserve it and you can do it!! Then you can retire! Lol the first Bushcraft content creator that I started following 10 years ago and is still one..if not..the best at what he does! Let’s help Joe get 2 mil!!💪🏼
I love watching your videos. I'm not a fan of winter, so I hybernate and live vicariously through your adventures. Can't wait for summer here in Timmins, Ontario. You have a soothing voice 🙂
Don’t feel old, Joe. I was 30 years old the year you were born! I love your pup! It would be nice to see some footage of mom and the kids again. I’ll bet they’re getting tall. Anyway, it’s great to see that you’ve got your mojo back!
Blue foam pad for the win hey Joe good to see you back weekly making videos been watching you since the begining and always enjoyed your content your the og bushcrater in my book
Hey Joe. You're not old at all. Wish I were 40 again. Seems very young now. LOL 😅 Love the hammock. Seems so much more comfortable than sleeping on the ground. Looks like you found Xander's blue pad. But Wolfie got a lot of good out of it, so, finders keepers. Enjoyed the trip. Have a great week.
I hate to be a killjoy, but quillows are quite an old thing and your friend didn't make them up. I've made quillows for family and friends, since way back. They are ingenious, though and I love them. You can use them for pillows and for quilts, as well. Unfold the pillow and you have your quillow. Lie on the couch with a warm quillow over you and keep your feet in the pocket and they are so comfy.
I remember I brought my 50lbs aussie shep hammock camping... Thought she would stay on the ground, but no big sucky needed to lay IN the hammock with me lol... It wasn't a great sleep that night. Wolfie is an awesome dog. Enjoyed the video!
Thanks for another great video. I just turned 65 on 05 MARCH and still love packing a few winter weekends here in the mountains of upstate South Carolina. 😄
Thanks for taking us with you Joe! I enjoyed this one especially, as it reminded me of one you did years ago which actually got me into hammock camping myself. It's so compact and handy I use it with the motorbike to save space. Cheers from Tassie!
Feel your pain, Joe. I turn 50 this year...but I still get out to the woods whenever possible. Lost access last year to the woods that I loved to camp in so trying to get set up in a new one this year. Aggravating, but such is life, right? Hammock with an underquilt is the way to go as you get older. Ground is a long, LONG way down there. lol I love the relationship you've developed with Wolf but I'd be super nervous taking my dog out to the woods. Have a good one!
Joe’s channel was the first survival/outdoor channel I followed on YT many many years ago before it really became a thing. Still one of if not my favorite to watch. Its been a journey. Glad you still going strong Joe!
Same here!
Same!
Same!! His videos always bring me peace and make me laugh

@MLunenborg winter camping is great! I live in michigan and I go mostly in the winter now. It's not bad with good gear and a nice fire 👌👌
I discovered the joys of winter hammock camping last year…. I didn’t get out this winter…. Other priorities, but it’s fun watching you and Wolfie get it done!
Joe’s channel helped me cope with radiation, then chemo.
I love the winter campouts, but I miss the fort in the woods. That thing was epic!
Looks like Joe has been re-energized. Looks healthy and Happy. Without a doubt, my favorite UA-camr. Due to medical reasons I can't do these things, but he makes you feel like you are there with him. A skilled cameraman.

Just wonderful Joe. Love your relationship with Wolf. What a beautiful dog
New Joe Vid! Just the thing to end a long work week. Please make the Joe Robinet missing Milk Carton tee shirt!!!!!! I would rock it everywhere!
Ol' Joe's all tucked in and warm in the hammock, wakes up, calls Wolfie, who wakes up not happy that he has to get up and walk on that cold white stuff to go give ol' Joe some luv.

Gooood afternoon from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great afternoon!
Hammock camping,,, awesome Joe and Wolfie 😏🐺
Happy to see you back, AWESOME the new format almost an hour, LOVE IT.
I absolutely LOVE that you don't edit out anything that "goes wrong". Those "oopsie moments" help us all understand that sometimes bush camping is problem solving and no body gets it perfect every time. LOVE that you're back! and having fun!
One of the reasons I like Joe, to see the human side. There are many that edit all the imperfections out. I don’t watch them😅
Thanks again Joe! Forever fan here…. 🙌👊🏼
Hello From North Carolina!!! I enjoy watching You and Wolf
Wolfie looKs beautiful drinking from the river. such a handsome healthy dog. I love seeing him run. Your camp looks good. Wish you had caught a fish.

Absolutely different in Australia. Temperatures wise, probably coldest summer we have ever had. Love your videos say hi to wolfie and the fam from all of Australia 🇦🇺
I agree that this Summer has been a lot cooler, only used the air-con a couple of times here in Queensland.
Im down in the states, Utah, its been oddly warm this season here too.
I’ve followed you for about 12 years now, and it’s always been exciting to see when your new videos drop into my notifications.
/cheers to another 12 years.
Joe always delivers! Shout out to the fellow who made the hammock - maybe he’ll send you a new one with the mosquito netting!😍🇨🇦
Hey Joe. Love the vids, glad you're back.

Good episode. Great scenery. Loved the twig stove too. two 74-yr- olds watching here.
Love watching your camping adventures. Growing up in California we went camping all the time. This was 60 years ago. Too old to go now by myself.

Thanks for the video Joe, its good to see you out and about.

It would be nice to see some footage of mom and the kids again. I’ll bet they’re getting tall.
Anyway, it’s great to see that you’ve got your mojo back!
Great camp! I’ve really enjoyed watching these last few camps but also really looking forward to seeing you get back in the canoe!
So happy to see you and Wolfie out again. You need to get some food warmer's. They really are nice to have. God Bless you and your family ❤❤❤❤❤
Do you mean FOOT warmers? They are wonderful - as are hand warmers when you get to your 80's. Don't know about food warmers.
Nice to see you again, Joe nice to see Wolfie too!

Sorry to hear about your brother Joe. Been in the same situation myself. Use the Wilderness for healing, stay strong brother.
Thanks Joe. I really like the shorter content (< and hour). I can usually get through that in one sitting.
Great trip, you're making me antsy!

Wolfe is definitely the perfect companion for Joe, just the right energy.
Love your channel!
