Come along on this awesome overnight camp at the fort in the woods!
We build a large thermal wall built from huge logs.
We figure out a revamped tarp system for next time, cook steak, potatoes and popcorn.
Tons of camp vibes in this one, and a whole lot of fun.

@@markv1267, welcomed Anytime. MUCH LOVE. . .
Joe eats better while he's out camping than I do when I'm at home
Haha! love the logo btw :)
I have this thought every time I watch one of his videos.
NGL I agree so much.
Shame about the mouth noises.
Most of us do eat better while camping if it is just one night or car camping...
Great episode Joe.
Don’t underestimate just how uplifting a video of yours can be to someone who’s had a bad day. For instance, just being able to sit down and watch this at the end of the day made it so much better than what it could have been.
Keep it going bud, your channel is the #1 thing I look forward to watching from any source (ie: tv, cable, streaming services, etc.)
I love your long vids. Its like watching a feature length movie. Keep up the great work! Awesome vids.
Chill boy y
@@lifeofarcher6494 why chill? Hes just letting Joe know that the viewers appreciate longer videos. Hell its what he's known for. Stop like begging you know you like the longer content as well, and if not. Be gone with you! Peace man, hope you have a great weekend. Chilling is something you should be doing more often
@@jasonscott598 that’s is true well then i am sorry
@@lifeofarcher6494 don't gotta be sorry, let's all just enjoy the peace and tranquility of this upload, for me at least it brings me back out to nature. I have suffered knee injuries on both my knees and have sciatica in my back. So his long videos mean a lot to people like me who can't fully appreciate the outdoors this way. I feel the fact of not watching the whole thing but if you are like me, you'd really appreciate all the footage he goes through to get the shots he does, and its quite amazing for me. It really brings me back to better days
I totally agree though I’ve been watching joe for a nice few years now and this one is honestly pretty good was thinking he’s gonna love to look back on all these when he’s older and done with UA-cam. Makes me wanna go camping haha
Put a stove in there.. effective and less labor intensive than a fire pit. Safer as well. In close it and stove it! That steak looked on point.
I loved the long video Joe! My favorite part was with Autumn and tripper. She's quite possibly the cutest kid I've ever seen!!
I know It's a long shot of you seeing this but I just wanted to say thank you for everything you do. I've recently started a new job that's been a bit harder than expected, but your videos and positive attitude really helped me. So thank you sir and I hope you have a great day!
Fort time is great time, buddy! My favorite videos of yours are when you're just so happy to be doing what you're doing, that you're beaming with excitement and joy! Just keep doing what makes you happy, friend, and all will be well!
Love the longer videos. Specially when you just talk to us as if we are right there with you. It draws us in to your world even more. The fort should be something that you always go back to. But also, love the variety of your vids. Specially when you meet up with a friend and do a longer trip.
What a great video - thank you for all the incredible work you have done in both filming and editing your work! 👍🏾
I'm in New Zealand, and my grandfather was a forrester back in the 1940s when they cut the trees down with cross saws and dragged them out of the bush with draft horses, then floated them down the river to the sawmill.
My Dad grew up in the bush near a lake. Two houses with gardens, a paddock for the horses, and they were surrounded by bush (forest). 😊
Gotta say that I love the fort videos. It's nice to see an ongoing project that keeps getting better!
I like the fort! I’m 64 and a neighbor kid we grew up together would build forts and camp. Loved it! Thank you for the memories.
I’m always amazed at how hard you work for your family, although it also looks like a lot of fun.
Been my best adventure channel for these 3-4 years. Thanks for the videos you make Joe.
I just love My Joe Time... Thanks Joe you make me smile.. will never miss a video of your bush craft..
We are loving the fort content man! Thank You again Joe for helping me get through these rough times in the states yet alone through out the whole wode world and what we are all dealing with and the lock downs.... Thank You and I hope the Best Friend is going to be better after his surgerys you miss him out there it seems 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I enjoy all your content Joe, you do what you want on your schedule, and we'll be here for it. I'm sure lots of us like the variety throughout the year just as much as you do
Hi Joe! Just wanted to let you know that watching your chill vids has made my corona time so much better. Don't wanna be weird or anything, but you're a really good dude, who thoroughly seems to enjoy nature.
Joe, I watched your last video four, maybe five, times, so this couldn't have come at a better time! I love watching your fort project progress. Thank you for making such great content. Lots of love from the UK.
Thanks!
Joe, I've very much appreciated being able to bushcraft vicariously through your videos this fall. Thanks for sharing your outdoorsy fun with us.
Yeah we can here them, coming for that juicy steak they are. Hahaha. Forts coming along nice. Glad to hear Trippers on the mend. Sucks to see our four legged friends down and out. Look forward to see him along with ya soon. It's raining, Hahaha. Yes it's a good thing!! Thx for the adventure Joe.
Eh buddy! Thanks for watchin
@@josephallen19 my name is Tyler and I want to say I have really enjoyed watching your videos I love being in the woods surviving and I know I'm way behind but try peanut butter in your oat meal
@@carrides4602 i prefer brown sugar in my oat meal😆 but I'd 100% agree with you! Joe puts out some amazing videos and always brings us (his viewers) along with him as much of the trip as possible, makes me feel at home in the woods again. I hate this city life... Joe brings me back though! Cheers mate. Hope you have a good weekend

44:45 I love your fort episodes or any that have building in them, even if just a temporary shelter. I'm looking forward to the winder survival ones you do where you make a harsh environment look so comfortable, they are my favorite. Keep up the good work Joe, I always look forward to the next episode.
You know we on that refresh game
What kid didn't want to go out in the woods and build a fort, so when we grow older the urge is still there. No one can deny that. Very nice work Joe.
Lol I'm still a kid and want to go to the woods to build a fort
11:30 I thought Joe was going to knock the camera over, then he comes into view grinning... Priceless! Also like the fort vids just as much as the long trips!
Even a man like joe who spends so much time outdoors cant escape Frozen
Any man with a kid can’t escape frozen 🥲
By far my favorite videos to watch. Things get a little out of control sometimes at home so it’s nice to just sit back and relax with you in the woods
I love that your at the fort as being one of the guys that said the fort deserved more than a trip a year. Totally get what you say about mixing up the content and you have a very valid point. I so need to get into the woods.
Love these kind of vids it gives me time to sit down and appreciate nature, and all the things it can provide for us
Amen to that!
Enjoyed it like always, thanks for the adventures Joe.
Love to see Joe in his natural habitat. Really enjoy these videos since the day i stumbled upon this great channel a couple years ago ❤️
Beautiful child you are a lucky man and skilled you have a wonderful family God bless you
Video couldn’t have come at a better time! I love doing this sort of stuff and watched all your videos. Been stuck in Hospital for 2 weeks now and lunch arrived just as the video popped up! Best timing ever!
Prayers for you sir.
Hoping you get well soon
Get well soon, Owen.
My life going fantastic very healthy and happy and feeling blessed and so thankful
I need a tinder for finding friends to go out and do shit like this with.
Completely agree!
Hmm

Does that still work?
Hahaha... Not the same zip code Dr. Octo.
Just getting into bushcrafting, but I live in good ol Toronto Ontario, up North is literally where Joe goes haha, lets go boyyss
Love how the fort is coming along! I agree that glow from the fire on the walls is nice and cozy!
Been watching quietly for several years and always enjoy what you are doing. Since material seems to be rather abundant for the fort, did you ever consider building a small cabin? I'm not suggesting something on a scale as Shawn's, but certainly something a bit more robust than a leanto shelter and a bit more weather tight and comfortable? I would suggest that from a certain perspective it wouldn't take a lot of extra effort considering what you are already doing. What do you think Joe?
Joe, its so good to see you back in the woods. Looks like the pup is doing better. He's a handsome dog. I have a female dutchie, got her 3 yrs ago and she's been the best dog I've ever had. Thanks again for another great video.
In the kitchen with Joe. Best company for cooking a big meal.
Fort, never know when you might need a place to stay off the books!
I've been watching your videos for quite a few years now and I always wonder if you ever feel spooked out doing these solo camps in the middle of the forest? Would love to hear one of the spooky encounters you've had while camping!
I have always wondered this myself about that. That, and if he travels with a gun but just never shows it, which makes sense.
Yeah!! Tell us a story!!!
Love the fort series and glad to see you back this winter! Getting over the flu at the moment, perfect watch for that!
Oh yeah, I was in dire need of this video. The best way to relax in bed after a looong day is to watch you enjoy nature, be at peace and give good vibes.
Thank you, keep uploading please❤
Exactly. Strange watching someone camp is so relaxing...
I live in Cali, so I like watching all the bushcraft stuff. I call it REAL camping.
Joe, another great video!! Love your interaction!! Really feel like I am there with you!!
Honestly Joe I love the fort videos! you should do them more often. Maybe bring out a bunch of guys and start real early and really make some serious progress!
Lol Mad Joe's face sawing a tree. The new Shining.
Pretty impressed with the quick work that saw makes of those trees.
you should try using a silky saw makes a frame saw like this look like a dinosaur , I have used many many saws over the years and have not found anything that cuts better than a silky.
Loved this video Joe , can’t wait till the next overnight stay and more done on the fort keep them coming....
Hope all goes well with Autumn’s surgery and trippers as well💜
I just want to thank you for your videos. I'm an outdoors lover, but sense my failed back surgery. I can barely ride to the local boat ramp to just sit and get a hook wet. I miss the outdoors, walking through the woods, camping on the waters edge, making fire and cooking over it. Your videos make me so happy. Through your camera lens I get to see the woods, and an open fire. Your videos are so awesome. Please don't ever stop doing what you do. I love knowing that even though I can't get out anymore, there are still people that are getting out in the woods and enjoying life.
i love this build, can't wait for the next episode. its getting there man!!
thanks for the uploads young Joseph!
The vertical logs are like camoflage, that fort is starting to disappear. Love the series. I was worried about snow load and am glad you put the structure under your roof with the verticals. Paracord is strong but some wet snow could be a bit much. Thanks for the little Tripper and kid clip, very heartwarming. Cheers bud!
I’m building one as well. Got it good to go for winter but it just keeps growing and growing
Haha, i know how it is!
Joe, I need more videos in my life. Please and Thank you.
A Thursday treat! Thank you, Joe :)
This was Fun. You are a Wealthy Young Man with such a Love of the Forest and a Beautiful Little Girl. Such Blessings.
Drinking game, take a sip every time he says “holy smokes”
Methinks he played the game before going out.
Ok 👌
POV you got alcohol poisoning
Hey Joe, would you consider visiting Matt down in Texas and doing a video teaching him some bushcraft skills on an overnighter on his property? Or, have him come up there, either way. Since you already have the business relationship, I think it would also be a good way to share audiences.
I was scrolling through my subscriptions page craving for a good content and boom, right on time Joe. Gotta take my tea and enjoy this, cheers.
Nicccce
Same here man ! I was about to go to sleep , but now this plan is in the past hahahaha.
Gouta ingoi me teay
As for the number of shelter videos you do, it’s great to break it up. Video what you are doing when you do it. I like going back and seeing how something changed between trips, the progress that’s made on the fort, even old sites you don’t visit anymore. Love it all. Keep up the great work/lifestyle. Above all, enjoy it!
Ive been watching tour channel 8 years now i watched you when i was 7, im 15 now, and ive always wanted to do something like that
Please keep these fort vids comin love em and the old joe sense of humour
I'm sitting here like "ohh no, he's gonna smack the camera with the saw"
*Joe staring from behind the tree*
Hey Joe, I have watched your videos for years and probably have only commented like once or twice. Just wanted to say just keep doing what you're doing, love what you do and you have an amazing family. I'm an Ontario guy myself and I watch your videos because you remind me of me and my friends.
I can tell joe has been watching disney’s frozen with his daughters
I like the colour of that tarp...green would be nice too. Tarp is a great idea..keep it waterproof
I totally caught that too. 😆
Geez. I had to pause you to go put some supper on. That food looks so good. Oh..theres your plane!
I have 3 and totally understand lol. Nice call.
Oh yeah, I've even step father to a 3 month old boy until he was a little over a year... brings me back!😂 Joe is clearly an interactive father haha. He's an awesome person all around
Love the new shirts Joe! Also miss these kind of videos! Reminds me a lot of when Scout would be with you.
Joe sometimes I’m with you, sometimes I’m not, BUT you are real and that always brings me back. I need you to keep me happy through living vicariously in the woods with your constant interactions with your surroundings. Your mistakes are real and human, same with your successes. Keep having fun in the woods. A lot of us are depending on you.
One thing's for sure Joe....you've always been good at making a fire
Thank you so much for the wonderful vidio of tripper !! It makes my heart happy to see him doing so well !
Joe you could make wedges to put on top of those logs to hold them in better.
Love what you’re doing Joe! Especially the “fort” concept! Brings me back to the good old days building forts on our property!
*You could make a "Medium Size hut" if you wanted to? Hopefully, that fort of yours work out for you @Joe Robinet.*
Love the fort. My cousins and i spent many years of our youth living in the woods.
Just a suggestion, but if you were to cut a "V" notch in the top of the wall logs it would help stabilize them by locking them into the roof support log.
LOL! I was telling go through the tv the same thing. That and knock them in from the side, which he eventually did.
That steak and potatoes and onions looks delicious I think I'll cook some myself
I was falling asleep and then this notification popped up ^^
I can’t believe that I’ve been watching your videos for 3 -4 years it is crazy I love your stuff an I miss scout 😭
OMG! you called your grandma “nanny”? That is so cool. I did too. Both sides
I've always tried to name my Grandma nanny but, therefore she wouldn't let me. . .
Always called my maternal grandma "Grammy" and great grandmother "Nanny Bird".
Fort videos are one of my favorites. I do have to say my favorites are the ones of You and Doug together. You should have Doug join you at the fort one of these days for an over nighter.
Jeez just got this notification, I been in the kitchen all morning. Gonna watch now. Made my day thanks 🙏
👁🦉👁
Really love watching your videos long time watcher first time commenting. All i can say is keep doing what you do!
We like these vids and this series, Joe! Keep ‘me coming.
I miss Kyle too, hope he is ok over in Cali. Another great video thanks from the UK!
Kudos to you I'm actually watching you age in the wilderness right b4 my eyes !
Loved watching this with my daughter.
The fort looks terrific, may as well upgrade to a log cabin, Happy Thanksgiving!
Great video again Joe! Thank you! Oh, if you replace that green tarp, use a good quality canvas tarp. It will last you 10 years. 👍😁
What ever else I have to tell myself to make this ok..... says Joe as he beats the massive log into place.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Even the dogs lovable you are truly blessed Joe
Joe, you better give that Baby a camera!
She’s precious!
Oh yea, nice fort!
I'm looking forward to seeing this fort evolve, Joe! It gets better all the time.
Only a dad of girls breaks out into a Frozen song while sawing down a tree 😂. Sing it again as you harvest the snow for your wall this winter ❄️
I love all your videos. But the shelter videos in winter climates are very educational, they give me hope and skills in a straight up bug out scenario.
joe: * farts*
also joe: OH .......damn ducks
I call farts “barking spiders”.
I love everything you do Joe. I have been catching up on all of your show's. I just love watching them all. The longer the better for me. I'm a bit sad now tho. I'm caught up and out of vidio's to watch...
You made a right arse of cutting that tree down, Joe!
Yes to change, life is more then one thing all the time. Can't wait for the next episode.
She was a close one, that's for sure. Thanks for sharing your adventures
forts coming along nicely, I like the idea of the vertical wall shall look pretty epic when you have completed it , your supper had my mouth watering . so cute was the video with Autumn and Tripper awww. glad to see him up and about. look forward to the continuation of the fort build .
I love how joe just tosses branches all Over the place and then inevitably has to go back and move them every time he starts building something else. Yet he never learns to dedicate a spot for a pile
I'm kinda obsessed with camp cleanliness as well but I kinda appreciate just not giving a crap lol. Mine always looks like I brought a broom
