I just got my Ebrake in the other day and threaded it on. Got the sandman s simply cause they didnt have the sandman l at the time. Hell they didnt have another supressor in the shop for 13 months when i finally got approved they were just getting restocked but only had 22 rimfires. I bought the 556 flash hider cap for mine to try out
Longgunner, off topic, can you do a video on how often and how you clean a prs-ish rifle? I have a 6.5 Creedmoor and have about 700 rounds through it. After about 80 rounds I did clean it but have not since. It still keeps making 1/2 ish minute of angle. I can keep five rounds in a 3/4 inch orange sticker. So I am scared of doing anything to change it.
That's no problem, thanks for asking. I could definitely do a video on that one of these days. I'm more than happy to do requested topics in a video as long as I have the means to cover it .
Todd I'm pretty sure the one on my ARC is the shorter version with the throw lever lock. I have the taller version as well which I like better for laying prone.
I'm in the middle of deciding between the Omega 300 and the Nomad L. (Main host is a 6.5 creed) I could use your opinion on the 2. Seems the L is gonna to be quieter but is it that noticeable?
@jbryanj80 for an all around suppressor the Omega 300 is great but the Nomad L is quieter and the tone is slightly lower. The Nomad L is great on bolt guns but on an AR it can definitely gas you out with back pressure.
If i took the keymo off my sandman s would there be an issue simply threading it on my barrel instead of using the keymo adapters? Prob wont do it cause ive spent almost a grand on keymo adapters already. Gonna have to make sure my next one also uses keymo or i just wasted a bumch of money on different threaded keymos.
On the ARs I can't tell a difference, there's too much action noise to tell. On the small calibers also I can't tell a difference. On the bigger calibers I think I hear a little more of a hissing/whoosh sound with it on.
They both work well with the smaller caliber stuff like 223 and 6 arc. The Nomad L definitely has more back pressure on an AR, you end up eating more gas. The Nomad definitely starts to shine more once you start getting into larger cartridges like my 7PRC or 300 win mag, the big can just captures more gas. I'll say that in my day to day shooting 308 and smaller I end up using the Omega 95% of the time.
Just got my Nomad L and put it on my DDM4 pdw 300bo. Though it's not movie quiet it doesn't sound like a gun going off either. Sounds like someone hitting metal with a hammer which is quiet enough for me. Sounds a lot like 8:30 in the vid. I'm still up in the air about the e brake myself
I beleive it was the .300 blk out that was super quiet when suppressed? It is a shame it shifted so much! Maybe a much heavier rifle? Anyways, I like the dB difference on the 300 blk out alot!
On the first paper target I said horizontal instead of vertical 🙊 My bad!
Fantastic video, excellent review and sweet rifles!
Can't wait for mine to come in. Nice review.
Love mine. Super quiet on my 8'' 300 blackout

I’m looking into getting a Nomad L to put on my 300 WM and as soon as I UA-cam searched it. Your video popped up and I was like thank God.
@@DirtyCombos glad I could help
Just a cool $15k in guns and scopes chillin there.. goals
If my wife knew what all this cost...😂

@@thelonggunner762 thank you. I have read a lot about it and watched UA-cam vids but they vary tremendously.
One more question. What was your bipod on your 6mm arc?

What rifle is that 7prc? Brand and barrel length I love that set up!
@@LoganBrown-m5p Seekins PH2, it has a 26" barrel
Nice setup and comparison.

It will work just fine using a direct thread adapter
What do you think of the ebrake vs without? Debating on one for my primql
Sound wise

@@thelonggunner762 I appreciate that. 308 is as big as I'm going.

I've only been using the E Brake on the larger calibers lately. I can't tell any difference on the smaller stuff.

Most of the noise from the 300Blk is just the action moving. It's super quiet.
I always wanted one that was long and black...,.
What’s the sp cs on your shooting table ? 💪🏽#deadair
30" tall
52" wide ( was even number of deck boards)
48" long in the center with 16" leg on each side for resting an elbow on
I got a namad 30 in jail. Do you think is worth to add the E-brake?
If your putting it on a magnum caliber I would but on a 6.5 or 308 I can't tell the difference in felt recoil.
Nomad L is full auto rated and no barrel restrictions 🤷
666 subs nice
Been sitting there for a couple days
