For the record, we have an MG ZS EV and a Skoda Enyaq. I'd absolutely recommend the Enyaq but not the MG.
Buy second hand. My 71 plate Zoe, with over 220 miles of range costs about £9K. It is a truly amazing car. Costs me less than 2p per mile in fuel❤
Why are you quoting list prices? There are always massive discounts on the Stelantis cars, so if you are talking "value" on new cars, the OTR price is what matters, not the list.
Nice one Nick 👍 👌
Hi Nick, I am 2yrs into a 3yr pcp for the Nissan leaf ( not a fan). The car will never be in positive equity. Is V. T a bad idea? Next car hopefully a model 3, Nero EV or ID3.
You have omitted the BYD Dolphin, it's around £31,000 but most importantly the PCP is fantastic, over four years it's 0.5% APR and £269 deposit with £269 monthly! It beats any PCP out there, I've just bought one, and it's brilliant, full six year warranty too (eight year battery)
You can’t NOT mention the Dolphin! I’m up to 2:50 so far and the majority of cars mentioned are from the stellantis universe! Which also includes Fiat !
Another good wee vlog, gives us more ideas to replaces the wifes kona next year
Nice summary Nick. You did though, at least for the Enyaq, give the price for the smaller battery version and then the range for the more expensive big battery one….
A bit like the MG, give a range but no clue as to whether is was for the standard or long range version
Excellent work as usual. Any chance on your views on the new OHME App that has had a general release today?
I’ve had it on beta for a few weeks… I mean I don’t really use app for intelligent it’s a clean design nicer than old one
If the it wasn’t for infotainment’s software and unlit HVAC controls, the Enyak would be on top of the list.
Corsa-e is very tempting at £16.5k for pre-reg 24 plate cars and lease deals starting at £175/month.
Checkout the saga Speaktothegeek has had trying to get his fixed. I'll never touch anything from PSA with a bargepole after that.😂
What time of year do the manufacturers have to meet their zev mandate by? Be nice to know so i know the best time to buy my first ev.
Zev mandate is a scale that increases every year it’s started already
@@NicolasRaimoBut what month do manufacturers have to hit their percentage target? End of the year? End of the financial year? Be nice to know, if they are short of their target then surely there would be some big discounts to try and sell more EVs and pay less fines?
@@mikees60 end of year, they can carry this years target over to next year long as they hit 5.5% also there’s some credits they can earn from improving co2 weight of cars from 2023
wheres the zoes nick?
Can’t buy new zoe anymore
Charging speed unit is kW - not kWh! Whoops, edit maybe?
Slip of Tonge long day with my toddler
If, like me, you hate software that doesn't work then you should avoid the ID3. I have been driving one for nearly 2 years and the software and app are totally rubbish.
wheres Tesla?
would hardly call any of those new are affordable or good for joe blogs. Smallish ranges , too pricey.
What would you suggest…
Joe Bloggs doesn't buy new cars. Wait for the used car review.
@@peteglass3496 joe blogs bough his jazz new 2nd from top of range for 20k , she still going strong
@@NicolasRaimo Need reasonable interest rate or 0% without needing a 50% deposit. a full Jazz ev would be spacious and large enough platform for a good size battery. nero but its not a 40k car
@@peteglass3496 joes blogs bought his yaris t sport new, jazz ext new and his s2000gt new
