- The Ridgeway national trail turned 50 this year, and its volunteers took to Ivinghoe Beacon to celebrate. Volunteers included patron and TV Broadcaster Mary-Ann Ochota, and artist Anna Dillon as well as Friends of The Ridgeway.

@@hedleythorne Oh yes, that feels like a long time ago now! The rooms are all a bit small on the inside, but I think in the refit they made the best of the space they had available. The top floor lounge feels a bit more roomy, as less of that floor is taken up by the stairwell, and I loved that roof terrace!
