The comment on "she won't kiss him on camera so she's not deeply in love" reminds me of when I was kissing my first girlfriend in a park (we're both girls) and a guy came from his group of friends (who were watching us) to us and ask "you're not really in love, right?" "we are in love" "no but, if you were really in love you wouldn't kiss in public space because otherwise that means you are seeking men and doing it for them" ... right, he got us.. t'was all for the men

Omg, the first kiss question brought back *soooo many memories*! Since my spouse and I were good friends for (6? 7??) years before getting together romantically, it was so nerve-wracking and awkward. Spouse was all "can I kiss you" and I just panicked, gave spouse a quick peck, pulled away immediately, and then buried my face in a pillow (it also took place on a bed but was totally innocent, lol) or my hands or something for like 2-3 solid minutes afterward. Like it was a happy kind of embarrassment, but it was still super awkward, omfg, I'm blushing at the memory and that was half a decade ago
My first kiss was on my bed! They were so sweet about it, made sure I was OK with them kissing me. Coming up on 10 months with them!

my trip to school used to be 2 hours. I spent 1/4 of my whole day on a bus
My trip to school now is like an hour and a half. It takes at least 20 to get anywhere from my house

Man, our first kiss happened on our second date and it was so awkwardly cute! Even thinking about it still makes me smile. I took my boyfriend to a beach for a little picnic. His Bday was happening on the same week, but he didn't want to make a big deal out of it. So we pretended it was just another day. Though, that didn't sit to well with me.
So I decided to suprise him with a little gift (which turned into many small gifts). I wrote him a letter, gave him a bracelet and a replica of the One Ring (since he loved lotr) (and I just so happen got the ring at a flea market long ago).Along with a small painting I did which he liked it a lot and my pillow case (before we were long distance thanks to covid). I remember rewriting the letter and just being nervous. And thinking I might have went a little over board.
Thankfully he was so touched by the gifts and once he finished reading the letter, he looked back at me and asked nervously "So.... isn't this the part where we kiss....?" I giggled so much and said "Yeah, normally."
We ended up trying to figure out how to kiss since neither of us really kissed before. And we ended up making out at the private beach infront of so many old people xD
And I made the first move so I got bragging rights >:D
If you ever get animals in future please, please adopt from a rescue! There's so many animals in rescues that deserve a loving home. I do hope you'll consider it!
My dog isn't exactly a rescue.
We got him off a family with two kids. Loud, young kids. They treated him like a toy, pulling his ears, grabbing him and not letting go. Apparently they even fed him a balloon once! So we adopted them and tried to help him. He's still scared of kids, he was scared of me when we first got him. But now he waits for me to finish doing things in hope that i play with him.
I love me dog, and helping a dog from a bad home or poor background, make you feel amazing. The fact that you have helped that little creatures life become better.
I completely agree with your point if adopting a rescuse animal. Or just an animal in need.
Yeah I have one dog I rescued and one I didn't.
My rescue pup (he's actually really old but he'll always be my puppy) was the dog in the very back of the pound and he was the loudest barker there. I was around years old and I walked immediately to the back, I passed all the other dogs and went right up to him. I remember my mom kind of cautioning me from sticking my hand in his face but as a child I completely ignored her and did it anyway. At first he kind of flinched back before sniffing my hand and then licking it. I sat in front of his giant kennel thing and just pet him, putting my face up against the bars to let his smell and lick my face and stuff. I absolutely fell in love with him right then and there. I don't really remember much about when we were leaving (we had to come back the next day to take him home) all I do remember is being devastated because I thought we wouldn't be getting him. I was very happy when we did take him.
Btw he's a mix, we really don't know exactly what different breeds of dogs he is, and I love him even more because of how unique he is.
Now for my non-rescue pup. My dad was dating a woman who bread her pomeranian named Sika with her ex-husband's pom (I don't remember his name). Sika had 3 pups, the oldest was a white, brown, and black boy I liked to call chocolate. The next was a fully white girl with a brown-ish nose that I called Snowball, and then the pup I ended up keeping was the runt. She looked just like her sister except her nose was pink and I named her Snowflake. She was like a gift to me, and despite her being a little demon I love her very much.
Me and my Partner had our first kiss after 12 years. It was amazing and awkward at the same time. now 3 years later we are living our happily ever after
I'm exactly the same with promises. If you say "I promise" it's certainty. If you are not sure just say "In not 100% so I can't promise but tentative yes" especially with plans to catch up. When people cancel last minute it really ticks me off

Can you do a quick video explaining how the UK school system works? As a Canadian I really get confused when Britains talk about schooling.

INFANTS SCHOOL
Reception (4/5)
Year 1(5/6)
Year 2 ( 6/7)
JUNIOR SCHOOL
Year 3 (7/8)
Year 4 (8/9)
Year 5 (9/10)
Year 6 (10/11): in year 6 you take Sat tests to give your next school a marker of your level. You can also take the 11+ exam to see if you can go to grammar school
SECONDARY/ HIGH SCHOOL
Year 7 (11/12)
Year 8 (12/13)
Year 9 (13/14): in either year 8 or year 9 you choose 3 subjects to carry on studying as well as English, maths and science (maybe a language. Depends on the school)
Year 10 (14/15)
Year 11 (15/16): in year 11 everyone sits GCSE exams on the subjects they picked earlier on. The grades you get here determine what A levels you can take.
SIXTH FORM/ COLLEGE
At 16, you can either go to sixth form to do a levels (3 or 4 subjects. There are no mandatory subjects) or college to specialise in a trade or industry. If you fail english or maths GCSE then you have to keep taking it until you pass or leave mandatory school.
It can be a tad more complicated but usually this is the system. Hope it helped 😀

@@pamelaboden so at 16 after you have taken your gcses, you can either go to Sixth Form (junior and senior year of high school in the US) to study for alevels which are exams you take at 18 or go to college and study a vocational course. Some courses have exams whilst others are more coursework based. Traditionally alevels were the thing "smart people" do but thats changing now as at college you specialise in a certain field. At my college you can do things like nursing; child care; performing arts; army cadets etc.

So crazy to hear you guys calling an hour drive a road trip! Anything less than 1-2 days drive isn't a road trip in the US. My first road trip with my family was 3 weeks and 7,000km round trip, and my first road trip with my girlfriend was when we moved from NY to Idaho last summer, it was 5 days and over 3,500km

It’s really funny hearing people in small countries talk about road trips being 4 hours, or an hour on the motorway being a long drive because here in Canada 4 hours is nothing lol my dad will drive over an hour into the city just to have lunch with me and go back home into town afterwards. If it’s only an hour drive it’s not even worth sleeping on a couch instead of going home and getting to sleep in you’re own bed. Whenever we go to Scotland to see the rest of our family (my brother is the first born in Canada of the family over here) it’s so exciting because it feels like anything we want to see, including going into England, Ireland or Wales is so close that we don’t have to compromise anything. But the rest of the family who never left Scotland won’t take a day trip anywhere if it’s more than 45 minutes to an hour away. Those little differences that aren’t really thought about until it’s in your face are always fun lol

Symphony Sonic exactly. This is exactly why a lot of hamsters live terrible lives. I myself was misinformed when I got a gift hamster and felt (or kinda still feel) terrible for giving that poor hamster a year of bad conditions. I really tried from then on, but it was still apparent I was not fit for taking care of a hamster. Considering the hamster was a marathon first place prize, the likelihood of her having a good life was already low, but I wish it wasn’t. I truly loved her, and wish she would have been treated like a proper responsibility rather than a toy, and given to someone who can take good care of her.
Kids can actually take decent care of pets when they have their parents to help them
I think that an animal's life should never fully be a young child's responsibility or anyone if they haven't been informed about the animal
