This is one of my favorite stitches for hats. I really love the color combination of that blue color along with the white topped by the white Pom Pom. I think it looks colorful without being too vibrant.
I'm new to handlooming, only about 3 weeks, but after watching and re-watching your video a zillion tines, I got it! i have never purled before yesterday let alone tried the Little Heart stitch, only knew ewrap, but after many rip-outs and restarts. yep, I got it! Your video is only fast after you have demonstrated each stitch multiple times so I have no problem with that. I want to thank you for such an excellent instructional video that even a complete beginner, if you keep hammering away at it, will understand. Thanks again!
I just did a hat with straight knit for the brim (16 rows, doubled over to form brim) and tiny heart stitch 1 row, knit 1 row, etc (30 rows) for the body, equaling 4.5 inches for body and 1.5 for brim, = 6 inches, on 32 peg loom 😊 plus a pom pom on top. Makes a very cute hat 😊 thanks Theresa Higby 😊
Hi! Great video. This is my first baby hat & im lost as u didn’t say what to do about the beginning thread once the hat is done? Sorry but I’m a newbie so can u tell me what to do with those strings? Thank u! I did follow right along with u & understood it all. Donna
I'm not an expert or anything but I don't think it matters. Some projects I start from the left and some from the right and I haven't noticed a difference.
Hi. Love your totural, but I'd like it if you could give the color change for each row. I got lost in color after row 11. Other than that it is a good pattern. Thanks much.
I'm currently doing this hat based on ur video but I'm using 3 strands of different colors( light pink, light purple and mint green) and I'm gonna add red for the hearts
Don't be petty Theresa😳We know you invented the tiny heart stitch...Remember you can't make folks compliment you.. But to come on someone post and demand props is a lil ugly😠
I am totally blind, and I have taught myself the basic loom-knitting techniques. I'm having trouble understanding how to do this stitch, since I can't see your video. I have just a few questions, so if you're willing to help explain this to me in greater detail, we'll have to figure out how to contact each other on a public forum. :)
I'm happy to find a loom knitting pattern for the tiny heat hat! However, with all due respect your video is way to fast! And I would like to know what size loom or pegs would you use for an adult size hat? A few more questions---do you have a written pattern for this tiny heart hat? Which link is it? I'm sorry but your video is just way to fast! Have you ever made a messy bun hat with a loom? If so, which video is that. I looked through your videos and didn't see. Maybe I overlooked! Last question have you ever made a cup cozy with a loom?? Thanks, hope to hear from you soon!
Did you know that you can change the speed of the video? There's a little round settings circle at the top right of the video. If you click on that you can change the video speed slower.
She is using a 4, called worsted weight. You can tell because she is using 2 strands at once when she is wrapping. So, instead of using 1skein of yarn to wrap your pegs, use 2 skeins of yarn. On 1 peg you will see 4 strands, 2 from the original wrap and then when you wrap again, another 2 strands, and you will pull the bottom 2 strands over the top 2 strands of yarn when you are e-wrapping. I use worsted weight all the time. If I used only 1skein of worsted weight, the hat would look like it has big loose holes in it. In my opinion worsted weight holds up better and you will knit tighter, as in no holes! Go to LOOMAHAT.COM and she explains worsted weight really well. Hope I helped!
You can change the speed of the video by clicking the round settings button in the top right hand corner and scroll down to playback.. Don't forget to change it back when you are finished.
At the top right corner of the video click the round icon And go to the playback speed you can change it to slower or really slow. Don't forget to change it back or all your videos will play real slow.

I'm a beginner. Just finished a hat for my new born niece, love how it turned out. Great job on the tutorial 👏🏽 thank you 😊
Those look like stars to me wow how easy this looks. Going to try it. thank you

I really love the way you did this hat well described and it showed me I’ve taught myself the tiny heart stitch
I really enjoyed this tutorial and very professional illustration. Great Job A+++++++++
Beautiful! I can't wait to try making one of these.
For the brim is it knit 1 pearl 1 for 4 or 6 rows?
Then is it knit 2 , heart stich, knit 2?
Thank you so much this is by far my favorite
so easy and cute! second hat I've ever made and I love it so much :)
Will it work with a 30 peg loom xx

love this tutorial! just wondering how you kept your cast on e wrap non loopy? when ever i use e wrap it looks very loopy
What did you do with the tail? From the beginning? I didn't see where it went but realized it was gone. Thanks!!
Love the stitch but find it hard when knitting next row to lift over pegs, I used chunky yarn is this why?
Great video - thanks
How do you stitch the pompom so it not Los x
since I'm right handed will it make a difference if I go from the left instead of the right?
I'm not an expert or anything but I don't think it matters. Some projects I start from the left and some from the right and I haven't noticed a difference.
Okay thanks
Razeena Matani I'm right, I find it easier to go right 😊 just using my right hand
I doubt it would matter. I’m left handed and I always just do things opposite.

I cannot see the little heart.
Please credit to the stitch designer, Theresa Higby. Thanks.
Theresa Higby Isnt your version of this with a purl over stitch? this girl's version isnt using a purl over. looks completely different.
Don't be petty Theresa😳We know you invented the tiny heart stitch...Remember you can't make folks compliment you.. But to come on someone post and demand props is a lil ugly😠

Shouldn't you do e wrap on 5 and then heart on 6 and so on!

You should really specify in the title that this is for leftys. I'm sure there are a LOT of leftys who would appreciate that.
Beverly Hyland either left or right handed can do this project, have been looming for years and I’m right handed...
Thanks for the great tutorial. I thought the video was very well done! Would love to know what type/weight of yarn you used!

Ann Balfour thank you!
supah easy .thx for making this
Why is this video moving along so fast? Can't catch what your doing if your video is moving so fast.
The grace of pressing pause. That helps me keep up
or watching at half speed
You can change the speed of the video by clicking the round settings button in the top right hand corner and scroll down to playback.. Don't forget to change it back when you are finished.
Thanks I do it a little easier if you go to my page you can see what I do
wheres your video
Dawn Ruple. c&m
do you have a link
You did the purls wrong. That's why they don't look like hearts. You were supposed to purl over, not a regular purl.
Your video somewhat was too fast even I had to slow it down. Please don't do that. Just keep at normal consistent with the videos. Thanks!
She only sped up the knits and purls
At the top right corner of the video click the round icon And go to the playback speed you can change it to slower or really slow. Don't forget to change it back or all your videos will play real slow.
I’m sorry, but I can’t stand when someone sounds like they should blow their nose and they do a voice over. I can’t! But good video.
She might have been sick or had a sinus infection.
