Did this pattern again tonight on a 41 peg loom for an adult and made the necessary adjustments and it turned out beautifully! I love this cast in and cast off method and my adult hat came out perfect. Thanks for this beautiful pattern and how well you taught it
What a beautiful stitch and hat. It is something new and different which I really like. Your video was excellent. Thank you very much for posting. I will start one tomorrow.
Does it matter what direction I started in I have gone around loom opposite way to you? Will it affect the cables, cause this changes my peg one and two doesn’t it from the way you do it ? I’m working from left to right so my left peg is my peg one and right is peg two ? Or am I wrong new to cables was following pattern on line written .
I don't tend to do knots on my knits as this creates an unsightly bump that may show on the right side of the fabric. You weave in the ends so that the item doesn't become unraveled.
Will the LC still work in the opposite direction or will I have to adjust it? Although I'm right handed, it's easier for me to knit to the right. Also, how many rows would you recommend for a 72 peg small gauge loom?
Absolutely adore this pattern and your cast on and cast off method! Wow. It came out so cute. Thank you so much!
Thank you!

would a 5/8" 24 peg baby hat loom work?
Jean I have a yarnology I got at Hobby Lobby - have you gotten an answer as to whether the 24 peg 5.1 In (13.5 cm) would work for this pattern?

your cable will lean the opposite direction.
How do you prevent the brim from curling?
The 2x2 (knit 2, purl 2) brim will prevent it from curling. This is already part of the hat.
Hello! Why weave in the ends? Why not just tie off and cut? Thanks!

I bought a Yarnology Knitting Loom and it has 24 pegs 5.31 (13.5cm) would this work for this hat?
I don't know what size hat that knitting loom creates. The stitch pattern should work as it is a multiple of 4.
What color yarn are you using?
Mai Tai

Sorry, but NOT a fan of this cast on method. I did a chain cast on instead.
May I ask what part was too difficult, or was the the overall look of it?
