What is lived on Instagram and Tiktok currently fits perfectly with what this amazing song
I've always thought that Amy Lee is one of those people who could become an award winning actor if she chose to. I feel the same way about Florence Welch. There's such a real vulnerability and honesty in the way they create, not just vocally but in the imagery they use and how they portray their characters in their videos. If you ever see a Florence + The Machine video (like Hunger or What Kind Of Man) you can really see a skilled actor there, and I think Amy Lee is very similar in that regard.
I don't know what it is, but there's just something so genuine about the way they embody a character.

Omg this song would be sick with some strong, soulful vocals.
The song, I believe is dealing with the dual nature of a celebrities life. One life for the camera, one that is real. Often the public persona conflicts with the true nature of the person that carries it, and it makes the " real " person feel that they have betrayed themselves. Marylin Monroe was a good example of this in that her persona was that of a carefree devil may care bombshell, but the real Norma Jean was just looking for someone to love her for herself without all the drama.
Amy wrote this age 16 about Britney Spears.

After watching your reaction, it brings me back to a fond memory of my own. Everybody's fool is about how "fans" react to their own embodiment of their perceived hero. I have always been a huge fan of Ken Griffey Jr.. As such one time while at work I found myself face to face with Ken Griffey Jr. He was asking me questions and I was just answering his questions as if he was a normal everyday person. The interesting point of this whole interaction was that he was there with his father. His father found it so surprising that I treated him as some random guy that he felt the need to question, do you know who that is (while pointing to a video game which premiered his son's portrait on the cover), to which I answered, yes, I know who exactly he is as well as who you are sir because I am an avid fan of both you and your son.
I was at work and I remained professional, your son is there to shop, I am there to sell a product. My reacting because I am a fan would have potentially adversely affected the sale.
The shop that I was working at was notoriously famous for attracting high profile people regardless of their profession. I can honestly state that I met many high profile athletes and movie professionals while working there.
I must admit this is best intro I've heard on those reaction channels. Her voice is really something.

But now, my life, family, and marriage has been restore, thank God. But this song, it carried me through some of the most hardest times of my life. Through my divorce.

Yep u guys r totally right, this also implies to morality as well. Morality is the 2nd biggest lie we all tell ourselves, and if u listen to the lyrics and think about how society claims to have ,"the high moral ground" or if u believe u have morals, everyone that says that is lying.
The hardest song for me to listen to was "Like You." It hit me hard because I understood. It's emotional but I think you will like it.
