Tasmania 16 Bruny Island

Part 16 of 33 of a road trip from Brisbane to Tasmania, returning via Victoria's Great Ocean Road, Central Victoria, Great Alpine Road and Canberra.
In Part 16 we spend the day on Bruny Island. The crossing from Kettering was a bit bleak but the day improved. We stopped at the observation deck at The Neck that joins North ns South Bruny. We then proceeded through the micro island capital at Aloona to reach the lighthouse on Cape Bruny before returning to the intersection with the road to Adventure Bay.
The south east part of the island is the home of Bruny Island Tours that provides tours around Cape Pillar and the rugged costal areas nearby It also provides an excellent café. After visiting some historical and tourist attractions we returned to Snug via the Bruny Island Ferry.
