The twin chrome tip exhaust have openings near the tip to generate a venturi effect to cool the super hot gases when the active regeneration kicks in and heats up the DPF to burn off the diesel soot.
I bought the less costly 'XLT' 2017 F-350, Diesel. I subsequently learned just how expensive some of the Platinum features cost to replace, making me glad I did NOT get all the bells and whistles. Repairing aluminum body work or replacing aluminum panels costs about twice as much as steel. If you break a tail light with the blind spot detection feature, the whole unit must be replaced - and it costs ~$900 !!. If you need to replace the tailgate, the Platinum version may cost over $5000. Even if you get a Platinum, there are additional options which can push the cost to $100k
Ot enough buyers for a hand shaker to justify keeping it in th4 line uo. I wouldn't mind driving and stirring my own gears. But no one makes one anymore. Not even Ram.
I'm giving this a false review because that dude is to tall lol. He makes the truck look average. I'm like 5'7 and this thing is a MONSTER. Lol great review guy!
I wonder if they've improved the backup sensors. Every ford I've driven the backup sensors fail within 2 years and just return error messages when you back up. And goddamn I hate chrome highlights in the interior. Doesn't matter where the sun is, if you have chrome bits inside the truck the sun will shine off of them and blind you.
The blind spot sensors are disabled when pulling trailers on the new F150. I would be surprised if this isn't the case with the new Super Duty as well. Just since you make a point of what a nice feature that is while towing.
Actually, they are not disabled on the Super Duty when towing. In fact, you can set your trailer length and it will warn you if a vehicle is to the side of your trailer when you signal. I wish they had done the same for the F150.

new trucks will never be work trucks they stick too much tech in them making anyone afraid to truly beat up a new truck and that tailgate fancy drop is too fancy in our old trucks we slam stuff in them
This guy is clearly not an automotive guy let alone a specialist in any kind of truck category, he doesn't name anything by what it's called "lane departure warning system", "homelink", and he points out features that he considers new that are not new (cooled seats have been around for years in trucks now). Not to mention everything is "awesome" or "incredible", no remarks that point out any faults like "the rear power window is smaller than previous years" or "the interior is aesthetically less pleasing than previous years" etc. I'm not saying this is the case because I love this truck, but I was looking for a more knowledgable reviewer...
Actually I have the 97 f250HD and that's what I use the ashtray for loose change and my pocket knife. Even thought I do have one of those travel ashtrays.
Best-looking truck on the road today!
I don't like ford's but they got the design 👍

i now know what my next truck is lol

Ford F-350 maybach
Jared Woltman sotp make fun of the new Ford
right here. right here and...right here
Mike West lol and over there.
F350 used to be a badass truck, too bad it no longer comes in a standard transmission.
David Martin agreed. I like having the manual option.
David Martin test drive it next time dude 🖕🏼😂🖕🏼

What kills me is the folks who want nothing other than the diesel (a TURBO) in the Super Duty, but they gripe about the turbos in the F-150 ..;LOL.
TED Schmitt probably because the Turbo F150 is a V6 and the Diesel is a V8.
RealTruck.com plus the eco boost is a piece of shit
over a million on the road and your calling them shit...lmfao...looks like you cant afford a truck...
Never mind a truck, from the sound of it he can't even afford a 1990 Honda civic!
man that was a cool drive test haha usually I take things on test drives but they are really similar.
they should find a different place for all those warning labels other than on the visors
That tailgate step wasn't thought out 100%, try using that while hooking up a 5th wheel or gooseneck and see how it helps you get into that bed...
it has the right amount of chrome

very nice review loved it
2017 Chevy Duramax I'm waiting for that one

Jeff Johnson thanks! That is good to know. Kinda almost makes them pointless though.

Orval Stuckemeyer me too 'cause that is a very cool and useful feature.
Sounds like they added it to the 2017 F150
its a beer can f150 nice.

Man I want one!
Wow even has a sink.
roger brandt how did you know? We left that out of the vid lol.
#AlumiDuty🖤
Looks easier to build out of legos than the last model.
This is a spaceship. Work truck can't be this 😂
Liem H agreed. I would be afraid to scratch it.

What’s the Maximum Towing Capacity?
Here's a link, there are a few tables that give great info on towing capacity for Ford Trucks.

I think I want a F350 Dually Platinum for an everyday driver...I don't tow shit. SOLD!!!!
John what is the dealer invoice on this truck ? Help us out here I'm interested to hear what people are overpaying for these trucks . Did anybody
Purchase a extended warranty on a new one I was quoted 2500.00
Tom Sitar sticker is right about $72,000
$72,000. Holy cow.
Is it bumpy without a load to tow or carry like the pass years?
Does that come with 110v outlet in the bed?
Tuc Lai no it does not, but that would be cool though.
looks like it at 4:25
Mr. Spanky that is actually the trailer connector for a 5th wheel trailer.
I see
$80k. wow
Damm no ashtray. Ford you just lost my sale. Was gonna go buy one this week for cash
Wess Reiley lol. I am pretty sure you would be hard pressed to find one in any US built vehicle theses days.
Hell just stop smoking and that will pay a good part of your truck payment! Just saying!
Wess Reiley I'm sure if you can drop 60-70 grand on a truck you can spend 5-10 dollars on an cup holder ashtray 😂😂😂
It was just a joke guys. But they still should put one in ther tucks for loose change and such
Actually I have the 97 f250HD and that's what I use the ashtray for loose change and my pocket knife. Even thought I do have one of those travel ashtrays.
Ford need their ass kicked for not putting a head phone jack in my 2016 F165.
blackericdenice f165?!
Liem H F150 with the 2.7 ecoboost. It's a 165 cuin v6.
blackericdenice doesn't it have Bluetooth at least( more pita than a standard aux input)
HERPY DERPEDY Yes it does but sometime my friends want to play their music in my truck.
blackericdenice get rid of the flip-phone!
does this truck has dpf fluid?
Sandeep Jawanda
Yes that's why he didn't review the driver side and he star with the passenger side
So he don't have to show the DEF filler
good review but too much of that nature..lol
I don't like it
i love ford and all, but the new super duties look terrible
It's squeaking and rattling.
