First Solo Backpacking Trip with my dog at the Uwharrie National Forest

I have been looking forward to my first solo backpacking trip, and always wanted to do it with my dog. I finally had an opportunity to do so and packed up to head up the Uhwarrie National Forest. This was a one nighter backpacking trip, 14 mile hike on the Birkhead Mountain Trail. What a blast; God is good!
