Since he say that familiar scent of misaki and familiar emergency whistle sound when misaki blew it asking for help. Despite touma don't know who the blower and who he need to help.

Ngl I haven't seen the series yet myself, but I can understand, because what was getting me into the series was seeing Misaka and Touma's moments together. Then, I thought it was Misaka who Touma was unable to make memories with, and I got upset and like "Well now I don't wanna see this", but when I found out it was Misaki, I was like "Oh, well that's not as bad". Though that's kinda the pain she'd be going through. Me not having that experience to feel heartbroken for her is like someone who can't remember at all. On one hand I understand the burden she's going through, because if it were with a character I had more investment with, I'd be devastated. Though that's my bias since my introduction to the series was seeing random Misaka x Touma moments. Makes me relieved it wasn't MIsaka who he would keep forgetting, but at the same time I'm able to know how it would feel for Misaki because I can imagine her as Misaka instead. Feels bad, man...

Misaki's past experiment happened both she met Touma. Let's just say he did a lot of stuff for her, some heroic some normal (just like with misaka) and she is the person she is because of him. Without to much detail the reason her story is so sad is because, out of all the girls attracted to him she truly loves him the most out of all the girls. So everytime he treats her like a stranger it breaks her heart. Funny spoiler: one year before the series started she was the flattest girl he met, and he told her she needs to do a lot more "growing up" JUST LOOK AT THAT RESULT.😂😂😂

I hope JC Staff dose Misaka's level 6 shift arc justice. It's one of the most important, action packed, and badass moments in the entire Story line of both index and railgun.
I mean Railgun for sure its one of the best arcs, but Index has way better arcs in the future

I read the novels and the answer is no. Touma's memories are still lost. But the good thing is shokuhou misaki appears more often and she is pretty much as important as misaka in the story
Yes and no, after touma absorbed kamijou no touma(the one who remembered misaki) there's still hope that touma would get those memories back
