Have you ever wondered why touma save anybody and everybody around him so this is just a theory but that is probably because he feels responsible
Toumas dad said that he was believed to be a jinx so probably around him someone probably died in an accident so that traumatic incident made him so that he saves everybody so that he doesn't feel responsible for there "misfortune"
After losing his memories he still retained that "habit" from his past self
This is also why touma always says that he saves people for himself

I mean, that's probably what drove pre-series Touma's actions, like with Misaki. Post-amnesia Touma doesn't remember any of that, but there is some instinctual level where he doesn't want to be responsible for despair or misfortune, which is why he fakes retaining his memory in front of Index.
As a side note, Angel Fall was a hilarious way to get around the whole "Touma doesn't remember his family"

Really? I didn't noticed him at all.
Let's go down the list of stuff this man has been throughout the anime (So far)
1. Was being chased by a group of thugs that he tried to save from a 14 yr old girl who stubborn as hell.
2. Said 14 yr old tried to shock him with literal lightning and knocked out his dorms power and air conditioner. Leaving him with no food to eat
3. A nun pops out of nowhere and starts to eat your poisonous food with no problems whatsoever, leaving you feeling like crap.
4. You break your phone trying to stop said nun for leaving
5. You then go to school and your 2 idiot friends get you into even more trouble.
6. The 14 yr old returns and starts bragging about a rematch that you couldn't give a crap about if you won or not.
7. You then return to see the nun that while weird at first, you couldn't get her out of your head and started to develop feelings for ends up with a big slash on her back bleeding out.
8. You then have to fight another 14 yro old who's also stubborn and doesn't enen look 14, and has fire magic that can summon a big fire looking demon
9. After that you than have to take the nun to your teachers apartment for help than she tells you to leave because the thing you were born with will get in the way, which brings up several bad childhood memories.
10. You than fight a hot katana lady that moves super fast and starts beating the crap outta you while explaining some backstory.
11. And to finally save the nun you've been protecting up until now, you have to sacrifice all of your memories. While lying about it to protect the nun's smile.
And this is the first arc/volume and if you for some reason still find him "Lucky" because he gets to see naked woman time to time and gets a "harem". Pls go get some help and get a job to stop living in your mother's basement because your pathetic. And unlike 99% of harem protagonist he deserves all the girls he gets, and he ain't dense either he just believes with his luck that he'll never get a girlfriend.
Yeah, you're right, in my opinion Kamijou deserves happiness.

he's possessed a great power can defeat any kind of fiction power. i think he could destroy infinity gauntlet along with the infinity stones, but he's also possessed the unlucky phenomenon.
Long story short, his life sucks. Having a power that annihilates your luck is really not worth any semblance of benefits.
That power is also whats keeping him alive. Its really difficult for him to die because death can be seen as a form of fortune and release.

There was a theory that Imagine Breaker only cancels his luck in everyday life, but beefs it up when he is in combat with power users, although he gets beaten up by people who do not rely only on their powers/stronger than him/don't have powers.
+Walt “The Assassin” Pardo technically what image breaker does is also erase death, meaning that so long as it is technically possible for him to survive he will.
I am Pardo along with imagin braker he also has foresight that inables him to anticipate his enemy's move allowing him to use imagin braker more effectively than anyone else

@@WokeandProud no Accelerator and Railgun are my favourites. At the time I was watching this I was reading the Daihasei Festival Arc from the Railgun manga and Gunha had recently been introduced. Still a cool character tho.

Even if Touma has such misfortune and he's technically a level 0 esper, I have thoughts that he will be a candidate for becoming a level 6 esper. Whatever it's just a theory or true, I don't know yet what's gonna happen.
He is more than that. The entire academy city is literally built by aleister for him, or technically his right hand.
But since imagine breaker will only choose someone with touma personality who always tried to save everyone, it's not wrong that he built the academy city just to attract touma.
Komori-sensei's appearance is anime-wife-like, but the gap between her appearance and the fact that she lives in an old apartment with an ashtray full of cigarettes and bottles of alcohol lying around is fascinating.

In fairness it was world war. Even Touma would understand he wasn't the only one with horrible luck in that situation. He does say it once in S3, but two people use the line to make fun of him instead, which I thought was a fun spin on it
