Misaka is truly the most powerful woman in anime.
She encountered the dreaded Ugly Bastard...and promptly wrecked his shit.
I love railgun, but she is by far nowhere near the top of that list.... She's powerful as all hell and knows how to use her abilities. But she's got nothing on characters like Lena inverse, Who can quite literally destroy the world with miss casting a single spell. Or that girl from elfin lied. Hell Rioko from tenchi muyo Would honestly wipe the floor with Misaka. But don't get me wrong I still love the a certain scientific/magical series: )

He still got that plot armor. Asshole later drowned in that Nuke-shelter thought his team could still fuck with Lv5s.

to be fair if you are really her enemy, you probably deserve it. Even Accelerator wasn't her enemy for long, despite what he did to her clones. because Accelerator isn't a bad person, just a messed up kid manipulated into bad things.

I love how not even this guy, who claimed to be so good at watching others, was able to tell Misaka from one of her sisters or vice versa, but Kongo was. Kind of fitting that this brought his ultimate downfall here, while Misaka was just there to get revenge for him hurting Kongo.
I've been satisfied with a heartless grin while Misaka about to tear his precious protector apart
@@frederickgrandison3609 this is like watching Sid getting intimidated by Woody in the first Toy Story movie, or watching Elliot Carver getting the shit beat out of him by James Bond before being pulverized by a giant sea drill. Elliot Carver and the guy in this scene are similar in some way, both are good at talking and manipulation, both rely on underlings to get things done, but in person, they're just a bunch of nerds who couldn't handle face to face combat

It was probably also a bit of delusional hope that it wasn't Misaka.
It's especially funny because they're very easy to tell apart. Just look at their eyes.
@@ZGryphonI think it has to do with the art to make the clones seem more different compared to the original to the viewer, In reality the only things that should set them apart from the original is the lack of shorts and the way they behave and speak.
The insanity of the Level 5's:
-Accelerator is a sadist in a moral body.
-Kakine has a god-complex but must always play second fiddle to the actual gods in his life.
-Misaka must throw herself against every obstacle. Which feeds her martyr complex.
-Mugino has a crippling inferiority complex which she uses to feed her cruel rage.
-Shokuhou can't trust anyone. Even if she can look inside their mind.
-Aihana likely doesn't have a sense of self. He's lent it out too much.
-Gunha thinks he's Goku and everyone is too scared to tell him otherwise.
1: psychotic
2: arrogant
3: stubborn
4: sadistic
5: paranoid
6: invisible
7: delusional
I like how gunha had the happiest life out of all of them
I mean, Gunha isn't wrong, he is an overpowered anime side character after all

Wouldn't matter if he did? That was a metal box, he ain't opening that against Misaka's will.
It was his arrogance that he was better and smarter than everyone else. He wouldn't need a manual release because he could never picture himself in a losing position.
Tech dependence is a problem throughout Academy City. Makes people like Misaka real scary.

I had the distinct pleasure of watching this on Japanese television when I visited Tokyo about 4 years ago, and even without understanding much of the dialogue, this was such a bad ass scene.

SCAVENGER learned that lesson the hard way in their encounter with Accelerator. They survived but experience terrified them that they ended up teaming up with Misaka after she beat Seike to avoid getting curbstomped.
@@jaketr8198 Well Tomau is a special case.He seems to have the will power and luck of an anime protagonist.And no one has a stronger power than the power of being the main character.
(Also didn’t Tomau actually get knocked out when Mikasa used an actual heavy attack. Than barely win the fight with accelerator after getting help from the mikasa sisters. Tomau has bad luck,but let’s not ignore the fact that he manage to survive much of his fights because of having really good luck.But still for a person with no actual abilities(specifically when fighting espers) he does pretty well,and succeeds is staying conscious by the end of the fight.)
