You can try increase the parameters/strengths of the motors of pan/roll/ tilt axis in the app. Normally up and down movement are caused by weak motors.

How do you keep the camera from drifting when you are running? My camera pans while just walking. Do you constantly hold the trigger while in action?
Need to learn how to use the lock mode. Or just use one of the M modes, and assign 'nothing' to all the gears.
