We spent 4 days in Tokyo and can confirm that's not nearly enough! Especially when you're jetlagged. So pro tip: take at least a day to rest and wander around a bit if you know you'll be severely jetlagged. Tokyo deserves all the time you can afford to spend in it!
I love that your suggestions for things to do were very centered on taking in the sights and appreciating them -- I feel as though many travel vlogs to Japan are intent on highlighting how "different" the place is or focused on trying to find the most Instagram-worthy collectables or experiences, so it's really nice to watch a video that encourages people to just like... be in the moment. There's a very grateful energy to your vlogging that I really enjoyed! Beautiful shots, too! None of the cinematograpy made me dizzy (always a perk in vlogs, lol) and some of the moments you captured were truly gorgeous. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so so so much for this lovely comment. It made our day! Such kind words ☺️❤️ we're so happy you enjoyed this one. We were so grateful and happy to have finally realised this dream of visiting Japan and we're glad you picked up on that energy. It really sounds like you felt exactly how we wanted you to feel when watching it 🤗 Thank you so much! Have a lovely day/night 😊
The Tokyo Red Garden has been known as 八芳園(Happo-en Garden) in Tokyo. There many famous gardens in Metropolitan area, but Happo-en was not known among the people except for garden fans. Last autumn the garden was renovated to make splendid night lightnings. As a result, the night illuminations began to attract the visitors with new naming of Tokyo Red Garden.
I think they didn't change the name of the garden! It's still Happo-en but the Tokyo Red Garden was an installation during the autumn season. I may be wrong, though! You are correct that it was renovated and still not very known, only amongst gardens fans ☺️
@@travelmurmur They didn't change the name itself. Tokyo Red Garden would be the name of autumn night illustration for attracting international visitors.
Thank you for your Tokyo travel guide ! I will be sure to see all the pokemon stuffed animals when I am there ! I also will see the Tokyo Kaleidescope !
Definitely one of your best videos right here ☺️ You really put an effort and it's an amazing trip guide for those who want to visit Tokyo 😁 (I couldn't drink that tottoro, so kawaii 🥹)
Such a lovely time of the year to visit Japan 🍂🍁 Definitely layers. It's not too cold but mornings can be chilly. A light jacket is a great idea and then a thick layer + lighter layers (t-shirts/long sleeve) are ideal. More importantly, bring comfortable shoes! Have a wonderful trip and thanks for watching ❤️
Visit also the new Toranomon Hills Station (especially the T-market) and the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower. If you come in Tokyo in 2024, you must to visit the new Azabudai Hills (which has buildings with very original architecture, which also has plenty of green spaces with, among other things, lots of fruit trees on the roofs which are accessible and also with the famous teamLab Borderless which will reopen in this complex in January 2024 and also lots of new stores and shopping centers as well as works of art and even a new shrine)
Ah, amazing! Hope you have the best time! So many summer festivals happening! And sorry you were spoiled in the video but you're going to love the view from the hotel! 😊
More places you can visit in your next visit, apart from Tokyo Disneyland, there are: 1. Odaiba 2. Harajuku 3. Ameyoko (Ueno) 4. Tokyo Tower 5. Tokyo Skytree 6. Shinjuku Kabukicho 7. Roppongi Hills 8. Miyashita Park, Shibuya 9. Toyosu Fish Market 10. Don Quijote 11. Ashikaga Flower Park (slightly outside Tokyo City) 12. Yokohama
We featured Harajuku in this video ☺️ We wanted to go to the Fish Market but it was closed when we were there! And we went to DonQui a lot but didn't film ☺️ Thanks for the rest of the recommendations, we'll check them all out next time (except for the Disneyland, that's not really our thing!)
This was such a calming, informative and aesthetic vlog! it was wonderful, thank you for sharing! May I ask in what month did you visit? I'm travelling this November and I would love to know if this vlog was recorded during that time. Thank you! 😄
Hi! ☺️ thank you so much, you're so kind! We did visit in November, mid-November actually! You'll have a great time and it'll be beautiful, you'll see! 🍁🍂
@@travelmurmur thank you so much for answering, thats great! Just one last question if you don't mind, was the weather cold? I'm scared to pack too much innecesary clothes 🥲🥲
@@yuya1094 haha, it's okay! Pack layers. Sometimes I (Andreia) wore a thick sweater and it was perfectly fine, sometimes I was wearing a thin sweater with a jacket and that was fine, too. The mornings are always colder but the weather is usually dry so it's not as cold as you think it'll be. Take normal autumnal clothes. Most importantly, good comfortable shoes because you'll end up walking a lot!
Haha let me know if you need more information about the hotel you're asking about! I assume it's The Blossom Hibiya Hotel Tokyo with the amazing views ☺️
I liked your guide a lot! Quick question, when did you visit? Looks like fall season, asking because Ím going this october/november and I saw it was raining in some of your clips
I really try tourist spots (except for Meiji Shrine). Strangely enough, at the Henri Matisse exhibit in Ueno yesterday I saw ZERO foreigners. Anyway, I like Kameido, Monzen Nakacho, Yasaka Ginza and Mitaka ....

How important is it to be able to read the language in order to get around? Or will speaking general words be enough?
Google Maps and Google Translate are your best friends! You'll get around and communicate really easily if you use both (in Japan and anywhere else!)
what’s the street where you saw the masks and art exhibition???
It was on Aogiri Dori but it was a pop-up so it's probably no longer there!
