Watching these guys is a huge honor for me
What I love about bjj is that I don't have to be smart to make jokes. I can just use catch phrases for years.
@@aplus1080 huge honor for you
@@aplus1080 A Plus: loves bjj for lack of required originality when making jokes
the billion other comment memes on UA-cam: I'm about to expand this man's whole premise
Watching your mom was an honor for me.
Man that's incredible
I love how Faria sits and listens as if he's a white belt and not a multiple time world champion.
Also does it with EVERYONE he has on the channel
That's what made him a multiple time champion
I had no idea he was a champion. I thought he was some dork that loves grappling
@@BashirAhmad-tz7gowe're all dorks who love grappling.
JiuJitsu is a never ending study. With so many positions and scenarios and with new techniques being invented every few years, it's literally impossible to know everything. Always open yourself up to learning.
Turtle position the most underrated thing ever for escapes or re-guard
Not really teaching anything specific here. But at the same time, he puts so many small details on a variety of positions. Awesome.
I love how Gordon is using the proper terminology for different holds and positions. Strangle hold vs Choke hold. Referee's position vs Turtle position. Etc.
Really shows the depth of his knowledge, pulling from Catch wrestling, judo and jiu-jitsu to combine into one fluent submission grappling style.
Thank Mr. Danaher for that
Really shows he regurgitates every dumb pseudo intellectual thing that danaher says and that it was mostly stolen from Marcelo.
@@yeahdaegzzzzz9831 Marcelo stole most of his "ground breaking" stuff from different wrestling styles. He just had renamed. Gordon went back to using original terminology.
Including pins in the BJJ rules set will make it wildly more entertaining to watch.
Sounds like Judo with extra steps
Pins are included in the BJJ ruleset. That's what side control and mount are
@@vedu8519judo and wrestling are just BJJ with a different rule set.
I love that this guy being at the top shows how important these escapes are and that turtle can be used well and it´s not like a thing from the past.
Thank´s for sharing Bernardo.
This Uordon guy seems to be good. Never heard of him.
Ikr who even heard of Gordon Ryan lol
Uordon Hyan? He’s well known in the Favelas
Lebron James would fuck him up though, he is just not different lol
Huge honor for you to hear about him I guess
Addressing the hands and discussing the differences between wrestling and jiu jitsu. Great video!
thanks a lot for this!!!
Thanks a lot!
Tremendous!!!!
Bernardo was staring into Gordon’s soul for the first 2 mins😂😂😭
thats pretty gnarly bro
Thanks for sharing 🙏
I love front headlock and turd escapes. @4:55:-5:00
Amen
nice to see that bjj is suddenly evolving into Luta Livre, its brazilian counter part, who allways was big on wrestling (as well as leglocks, when they were still considered dirtry)
Luta Livre is the Brazilian counterpart to Brazilian jiujitsu? Gordon Ryan is the American counterpart to Garry Tonon.
this comment makes absolutely no sense
@@Domofuzzybuns because.........??
Yes have been thinking the same with emphasis on leg locks now. Hoping that Luta livre will start getting more credit and long term all clubs will be running programs in both to represent gi and submission grappling respectively
That's because bjj was brought up by the idiot Gracie's despite being destroyed by every one else who knew how to grapple
Sometimes the most element of an escape is patience.
great blue print....thanks
Gordon doesn't even look like the same species anymore
*Desire to watch more vidyuss intensifies*
Didn't Craig just release a DVD about this? Hmm.......did Gordon just.....no.....surely not...
Craig learned it from competing against Gordon 🤣
These videos are great and all but they are nothing without PLACIDO
oss!
Who is this american guy?
He has good coaching tips
Rordon Gryan
The best jiujitsu player of all time.
e dificil comparar BJ J com Grappling porque quando coloca o pano e diferente Abracao Bebezao kkkkkkkkk cabeca do Bernardo \0/ kkkkkkkkkk

MONEY 💴
I want a huge honer for me rash guard
👍
Telles is the turtle guy not him.
Get a better mic. Good content though
Camera guy sucks, can't see what they're doing with their legs
