Congratulations on playing the correct version with audience reactions! Most reactors play a UA-cam friendly cut up version. Probably why it got blocked because this version was taken straight from the Movie. This entire concert can be purchased TODAY "The Song Remains the Same" DVD is a MUST have in your physical collection of God Rock. From a time when video productions were very limited, Zeppelin created this masterpiece from their 3 shows at Madison Square Garden, in 1973 50 years ago. Thanks for the reaction and I hope you had a GREAT night!

The reason is that the edited version without public (and the little intro) is the one on the official Led Zap channel, so people take this when they don't know.

I had told her on her last Zep reaction to search "Since I've Been Loving You [HD]". That's what we have to start doing whenever we request it. I love this one, far superior version, but the official channel has buried it with the chopped up one with the pop-ups. I'm just so glad she did it.

@@epicurhyss4014 Nope sorry, don't know why they do that...
Another thing I've seen a lot from reactors is that they choose the vids with the most views, and sometimes you have a video uploaded 15 years ago, with poor quality (normal at this time), which of course as more views (since time). There is often other versions who are upsacled (vid and sound) but less views...

Seen Led Zeppelin 2 times, once in 1977 on April 1, 1977 Toronto, at the Maple Leaf Gardens, then on October 17 , 1980 in Montreal, at the Montreal Forum, and my best friend bought tickets for Robert Plant's solo tour on June 10, 1985 at The Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver, BC, Canada!! Led Zeppelin are truly amazing live and so sexy!! Robert Plant during his solo tour was amazing as well and just as sexy , like fine wine he ages so well! Had front row tickets to all 3 shows!! We took it all for granted.
Almost every day it seemed there was a great new song from one group or another.
At that time in the UK the album charts were very different from the singles charts.
Obviously, Led Zeppelin never ever figured in the singles charts because they never released a single in the UK. However, whenever they released an album they were virtually always at the top of the album charts. And yet there was no publicity. It was nearly all word of mouth. No advertising, no TV exposure on Top Of The Pops, no exposure on TV shows etc, etc.In fact, back then you didn't even know what any of them looked like unless you bought one of their albums that featured pictures of them.
Anyway, thanks for the video. Very enjoyable.

They are so good in this version and the audience reactions are a bonus. I saw them in 1977 but was far from stage. But when additional dates were set for later in the same year I got tickets for eight row center! Sadly Robert Plants son died from an illness which naturally cancelled the remainder of the tour so I never did get to see them from that eight row seating. I did however in 1983 see Jimmy Page backstage at a concert and had an unusual encounter with him.

In 1983 Westwood Radio Network held a nationwide contest for Atlantic Records to promote Crosby Stills & Nash’s latest album and tour titled Allies. Included in the prize package was a trip to London and backstage access to CS&N concert at Wembley Arena. A friend won this contest and invited me to join him. We flew out of Chicago and about seventeen hours later we were picked up at the hotel by a guy who worked for Atlantic Records. He chauffeured us to concert in a gorgeous vintage Bentley Limo. He also escorted us backstage introducing us etc.
We were in a backstage room after the concert with about a couple dozen people standing around there was some snacks and drinks. After some time our Atlantic escort pointed out to us Jimmy Page who walked into the room. It was unnecessary as I had already recognized him. Jimmy quietly walks past us nodding his head hello as he passed. He was very unassuming, quite and humble in his manner and did not draw attention. Also he had a cast on his wrist. Some time later I notice the Atlantic records guy talking to Jimmy and then approached us and tells us Jimmy’s driver/car has gone missing. He then ask us would we mind if Jimmy had use of “our” limo to get home. I guess that meant someone else would drive him home in the limo. To explain a why Jimmy would be looking to that guy for help is because Led Zeppelin like CS&N was with Atlantic Records so that was the connection. We agreed to the request. After all how much enjoyment has Jimmy given us through his music…and we would have a cool story to tell friends back home. The guy goes to tell Jimmy who then looks our way and gives a smile of thanks.
Short while later we are leaving out the back of arena in a restricted area and we see Jimmy all alone sitting on the curb slightly hunched over waiting for the car. It appeared he was drinking from a carton that looked like might be a milk or chocolate milk.He sees us across the way and gives us a nod as if to say thanks. Honestly the whole scene was surreal. You would never know here was this guy who is a legendary rock guitarist, who put together one of the top rock bands ever, who has enthralled millions on the stage and is here alone sitting on a curb for waiting for a ride.
I do really regret not talking to him. I was young, jet lagged, intimated and out of my element. Also I was concerned about being a bother or appearing uncool ha ha. If it happened today I absolutely would have approached Jimmy and had a bit of conversation. In fact I would have said where you need to go? We will drop you off in “our” limo. Ha Ha. By the way we were not stranded as the Atlantic guy drove us back to hotel in someone’s Porsche.
The whole CS&N concert/backstage experience was another story.

@@bradsense7431 Wow, how lucky you were to join your friend on this trip. It must have been very exciting.
I can imagine it being strange seeing the guitar God himself sitting there all by himself waiting for his ride. I can totally understand why you decided to keep your distance. It being 1983, there was an us and them boundary with celebrities at that time.

Great reaction. I would say my facial expressions were similar to the people in the video when I went to my first Led Zeppelin concert in 1969. I sat close to the stage and they were all so good, I didn't know who to watch. At this concert I got to see Robert play harmonica on a few songs and he was fabulous. There are so many great Led Zeppelin songs to choose from, so I will give a few suggestions. If you would like to see them when they were younger (Jimi had very long hair at that time), check out Led Zeppelin live at Royal Albert Hall 1970, performing I Can't Quit you Babe or Bring It On Home where Robert plays harmonica. Another live recommendation would be Black Dog from MSG 1973 or No Quarter from the same concert. At one point I think you should react to some of their studio music, and I would recommend Babe I'm Gonna Leave You or Dazed and Confused. Whatever you choose I think you will like.

OMG, she got the good version!!!!!!! The other version isn't bad but it's got a really annoying pop up half way through it and dosn't have any audience views or this beginning part. The record company decided to make an "official" version of the song after it became popular on youtube 5-10 years ago. And as usual they had to make it not as good as what we already have. And the newer version buried this version so that it's hard to find.

Also, there is a new even more horrible trend from reactors. There is a Live version of Dazed and Confused from MSG on youtube that cuts the song off dead in it's tracks before it's halfway over. It's still like 15 minutes long so the reactors think they are getting the full version. Sadly, it's about 50/50 when the reactor reacts to this song, that they pick the wrong one. I have seen at least 3 reactors pick this bad version to react to this week. When I see the runtime I know right away it's the wrong version and won't even click on it. In 1977, Robert Plant lost his first born son, 5 year old Karac Plant from a viral stomach infection in England, while Plant was on tour with Zeppelin in the US. This devastated Plant. The '77 tour was cut short, and Plant flew back to England to mourn the loss of his son. Since then, Robert Plant has written a couple of songs about his son...most notably: 1979's "All My Love" from Zeppelins last studio album 'In Through the Out Door,' and from Plant's solo career, a beautiful song called 'I Believe,' from Robert Plan's solo album called 'Fate of Nations' from 1993. Yes, she got the version right, yeah! This was the one they picked for the film for a reason, off the charts amazing musicianship and what a great performance by every band member with Robert and Jimmy being highlighted. Other reactors just go with MSG 1973 but they recorded several nights for footage and they get another great take, but not as good as this one. Great, great song my dear. Next you have many great choices but from the same film (The Song Remains the Same concert movie) do No Quarter or Dazed and Confused, your choice for more live excellence.
Lastly, do not ignore their studio albums, they are at the height of rock masterpieces with their incredible studio mix and effects, they were masters at creating an audio landscape in the Rock Idiom where you disappeared in their musical nirvana, no matter what genre of rock music they were doing, with heavy roots in the blues, like this song. Do them from the start with Led Zeppelin 1 when you can, your Led Zeppelin experience is incomplete until you hear the 10 total discs. Now that is the ultimate Rock Marathon for me, the entire catalog, back to back some weekend. Rock on and enjoy, you are sexy my dear and it is great to see younger fans being created all the time on-line, this music was made to be heard forever and it sure looks like it will! Enjoy, liked and subscribed, I'lI take a Zeppelin journey with you. 😎🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

I have long hair. Maybe we could be a couple of led heads together 😂. Here's a couple of songs. But they need to be played together. The Song Remains the same/ The Rain Song. Live 1973 at Madison square garden. And Dazed and Confused, the whole 26 minutes from the same 1973 msg concert .

  • @Kashmir.820

If you want to stick with live Zep then I recommend The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song from this same concert MSG ‘73 & In My Time Of Dying 75 Earls Court (2nd night). Zeppelin is by far the GOATS!!! Nobody are as badass as them. They have an amazing catalog & I recommend you start from the beginning…LZ1 track 1 Good Times Bad Times then just react in order, I promise you will be amazed! The first time I saw/heard Zeppelin I absolutely fell in love with Robert Plant…so good eye girlfriend!!! He is eye candy, but he is very smart, gives great interviews, he was the band’s primary lyricist & sexy as hell when he plays harmonica. I still listen everyday…& yep play them while I’m cooking & dance around the kitchen!!!! Jimmy Page is the coolest cat to ever pick up a guitar…John Paul Jones is so extremely talented there is nothing he can’t play. You will see him on bass guitar but when he is on keyboard he is playing bass with his feet. Finally drummer John Bonzo Bonham…bombastic beast on those drums….best ever. The day he died we were all in mourning & the soundtrack to our young lives came to an abrupt stop. I commend you on your reactions….& I love a man with long hair too ❤ keep up the great Zeppelin reactions!!! ☮️

So fun to watch people falling in love with Led Zeppelin, both for the music, of course, but also with women reactors, for Robert and the Boys, lol! The whole band IS very good-looking, I'd say, as a straight male. You can see more fo the good-looking , lol, and even better-sounding, drummer, John Bonham, in "The Ocean," from this same show (1973, MSG). VERY fun-n-funky, brightly lit, great shots of all of them. Wanna see Robert at 20? And his voice is SO Strong&Clear! ANY song from searching "Zep Danmarks 1969" will work!

Today's music is completely disposable. It makes money for certain "artists" who have extremely limited talent. It makes sales or something like that. But who remembers it? I mean, at the end of the year does anyone remember any of it? Led Zeppelin is iconic not just as a band or their albums which outsold their singles but also their concerts. They created music and moments that stand the test of time. That show what a show can be if all the musicians are great and give everything they have. It puts todays "stars" to shame.
