Around three and a half years ago was the day I put an end to my addiction. Me realising what destructive effects it had on me, coupled with Lucid’s words of courage was enough for me to put an end to it. I have seen this man grow like a flourishing flower throughout this entire time. He has improved, matured and learned from his mistakes just like I, and the majority of us have in our conquest for mental discipline and freedom. Although I am saddened to hear that he had a lapse of judgement, I can assure you he is the exact same man he has worked himself up to. Right now I don’t see the lucid of three years ago. I see a man who has improved so much that he is capable of owning up to his mistake in a heartbeat. Which is something I, and many of us might have hesitated to do. repost because my other reply got deleted So many people need to see this advice. Almost everyone in "nofap communities" are trying to force themselves out of addiction. When you miss a day at the gym after 5 years of going, you don’t lose all your progress and return to the start. You still have all the muscle that you built over the years, same applies for nofap. If you relapse on day 1000, you still have the progress from the first 999 days. People shouldn’t beat themselves up so hard after relapsing on a long streak, just keep going like it never happened.

Lucid you should be proud of how far you've come man. Some individuals can't get passed one week. It's extremely understandable. I just really hate how children are exposed to pornographic videos at such a young age. I didn't know about porn until it was introduced to me at like around 13 years old. My advice for those who want to beat this addiction is to analyze their feelings while they are "doing it". Do you feel loneliness, a lack of affection, boredom, a lack of meaning in life? Eventually you have to realize that porn/pleasure is only an ILLUSION. Illusion that will never replace the reality which is love and true connection. Try to focus more on your soul, on your emotions.
I have a counter on my phone but I dont care for the days. But I do like having it because I like to know how far I’ve come. I’ve never felt devastated from a relapse. It happens and we just go to move forward. Just like the crazy streak you had, you showed its possible. All my friends are about no fap and its so cool how honest we are about our streaks.
This is why nobody can beat Alex, he’s the best… What’s crazy is that I lost a streak of around 300+ days recently too, so we’re in the same boat- W honesty/clarity
Hats off to you Alex. Humble enough to acknowledge you're fallible like we all are. But you don't give up on your progress even if u went one step backwards. I'm in the same struggle so very relatable. Keep up the struggle. God bless
Thank you so much man, this is exactly what I needed right now. For so long after constantly breaking my streaks, I've really have felt like human garbage. But now I understand that it's not about the numbers. There's no reset button that I accidentally pushed. Through every failure I've grown into a better person. I've never really reset myself, I've just kept moving forward and overcoming every hardship in my way. And this attitude is exactly what I need to be a successful entrepreneur in my life. Thank you man.
I’ve noticed when lucid was talking about the egotistical aspect of the challenge and it seemed very true. Personally I’ve noticed that anything that we complete or accomplish in or our lives we seem to want to share with others to get attention or justification. It’s not necessarily a bad thing but we got watch ourselves when it comes to that stuff. Self awareness plays a big role when it comes to any decision or things you say. Think of it as a main character in a game that is 3rd person and you get to choose different scenarios. That’s enough rambling from me, i need some work also.
great job man, you finally said it, the count days = ego is facts there is no reason to stop, the fact that you still haven't quit thinking about how to not do it again is just a super progress than not even thinking about how to get rid of it, keep it going people, ain't no stupid pixels weakening us!
What I learnt about nofap is to not concentrate on the streak because the whole point of it is to get it out of your mind. Nofap streaks defeat the point because it will make you constantly think about it. and count the days when you shouldn't which will gaurentee a relapse. When you do so, think of it as a checkpoint, not a reset- that is my nofap advice!
make "no fap" a lifestyle, something that you just simply dont do, you arent that person anymore. counting the days keeps you emotionally attained to it, basically making the numbers the way you feel, but when you finally let go of that, and just start living, not associating that feeling with your old habits. when that feeling arises, you dont associate it with that action, but you associate it as a normal feeling continuing with your day.
I ain't gon lie, at first I was doing Ng nofap to beat my addiction as i kept thinking about stopping myself from indulging in that. Porn is really bad for you and fucks up your mental health. It makes you anxious for no reason. Now, depending on your religious views, you can still have sex with women if you have a girlfriend. In person sex has a good effect on you and causes stress to decrease. Watching content on your screen is different. Imagine wasting your life energy to a girl on a screen who's been ran through more than the yellow light. Lucid, i stumbled across your content back in my senior year of high school and you are the person who's gotten me to improve myself, far more than I ever thought possible 💯💯.
Hamza has a great way of circumventing the streak problem, thinking about the goal of nofap being getting to the "golden point" which is the point where you forget that nofap exists because engaging in that stuff isnt even on your mind
I’ve gone through a phase of reversion recently. I dislocated my elbow and used that as an excuse to stop going to the gym and start eating like shit. This video opened my eyes and I realised, I’m pitiful right now. Going back to the gym today and putting an end to this little two week falter of mine.
bro i get people say its healthy, but since i stopped (only a week in btw man) it feels great, you just feel happier. like yes, do it from time to time, maybe like once a week maybe once every two weeks? because that, that is healthy, but daily just isn't i stopped daily im so happy now

After being addicted for 10 years and struggling to give up for 4 of those years I have finally and confidently say I am finished with P and fapping. I'm something like 3 months clean and haven't counted days once in all of this. I'm just done with it and not obsessing over numbers. All the other millions of times I tried to quit I counted my streaks and would relapse and fall into a binge of catching up on all that I missed. I let myself get depressed and upset for weeks and months about it. I went to counselling and everything but at the end of the day the thing that really made me stop (and I know to some people its cringe) was God. I promised God I wod stop and take care of myself. I'm not telling people that's the only way to quit but just wanted to share how I done it. I've given up P and recently given up caffeine too, next is nic and I'm just constantly on this journey to take care of my mind soul and body. Thank you Lucid for your advice, experiences and amazing content over all these years you and other creators truly changed my life for the better, seriously alot of love💜
I actually really appreciate this. I was doing so well even if it was just like 3 weeks I haven’t done that well in so long and when I fell I thought it was all over but I know it’s not. And seeing it happen to someone I look up to is kind of reassuring that it can happen to anyone and we can pick ourselves back up. It’s not over
My longest streak was year and a half. Started nofap again because I found out I have an illness that is triggered by ejaculating. Every time I release, I immediately get bad depression and brain fog so now I plan to just give up releasing, but keeping my desensitized outlook on adult content
Semen is truly a mystical substance. It can be used to create life, and it cannot be artificially created. It's something truly divine. Keeping it in you makes you exceptional.
I am so grateful u put out this video I just found it and you seem like u honestly want to help people. This made me change my mind and start my goal of Nofap for real this time. To make me understand the little things and make me happy again. Thank You
Quitting an addiction is kinda like lifting weights, at first you can’t lift it completely, but you keep trying and get stronger, and eventually lifting the weight becomes super easy. You just have to keep going.
I've been watching you for more than a yr. My first longest streak was 31 days and i remember edging took me off. I was like "i'll just take a peak at hornpub without relapsing" . You can tell how i completely under estimated the enemy i was trying to fight. I ended up relapsing for the next 2 months straight as if my body was trying to revenge that i had kept it 31 days porn free. Now i'm more than 3 month on nofap and just as you said, porn is like the cigarette. Releasing is not the issue, it's how it happens.
I get the point your making and your not wrong it’s just I also think your coping with the fact that your reset, regardless of the mental progress you make the days do mean a lot and hold a lot of value as well, so if you view it as “The days mark the journey I’ve had along the way” and not “the days are so much! I’m on day 3000! I’m so much better than you!” It’s better
i've been doing my workouts outside recently. After just two days of doing it I feel more connected with myself and nature man. It's almost as if it puts me in a *flow* state of mind. Sliding my beef jerky hasn't really been a strong thought since then.
@@Sunkem1Not6Hacks day 58 nofap -Started hearing low frequencies -Started feeling small vibrations from other rooms of my house -Started moving small objects with my mind (small pennies, rings, beer caps) day 89 nofap -i can now rearrange my DNA -i can change the chemistry of my organism -i can talk to girls (my cousin) -i can levitate 10 cm from ground (although it makes my brain bleed a lot)
Number is just a tracker but honestly its the experience, healing, and learning thats the most important through the process. It really heals your mind from the toxicity of pornography, alters how you view sexuality and women, and honestly my favorite thing is gaining more self-respect for myself and feeling more energetic.
I’m currently going through something that I need to lay off of. Drug related I went 12 days then 18 now I’m on day 5 thank you for this video. I feel bad but this made my day thank you bro
I swear this mentality of "streak based" mindset has done more harm than watching p*rn. I relapse once and the guilt kicks in, the shame over takes me and I bury myself with binging sessions just to escape that guilt and shame. Three years Ive been like this and I got nowhwere in life cause I made the mistake of beating myself up over watching Corn. I forgive myself because like you said, the goal is to build a better life without being addicted. Atleast I kno what works now and what doesnt.
As a woman it's great to hear a man talk about how harmful porn is, as watching it is so normalised. Especially how it causes objectification of women. Keep it up :)
ill give you some tips: delete insta, if you see a channel or content with explicit content/pornography click on “do not recommend” and you won’t get this type of content anymore.
Great video Alex. This really shows that if you want to become better than your old self, you need to keep pushing even after you lose once. If you give up at that moment, you will loose all.
I am really glad you talked about this toxic perspective of streaks. You are not back to nothing once your streak has ended. The progress you have made remains.
came randomly into my recommandation fyp, and it is true, mans spitting facts, i did a no fap i was 3 weeks in almost 4 and i relapsed, felt bad for a second but the guilt wasnt there any more, just told myself i did progress, i dont feel the urge no more because i dont use social medias anymore, no more stimulating information to make me feel horny or to change the perception on how i look at girls and females in general, im not the same person that i was 4-6 months ago, i started my self improvement journey 4-5 months ago and i dont regret it, yea i did relapsed but as this guy Lucid said, no need to feel guilt, move on dont do the same mistake and think about the progress u did, another tip i can give u if u have started no fapping and did a lot of progress over a few months or a year or even years and u have relapsed recently, think about past years the number of countless faps u did, and think about now this year u have only few or even in few months u have few relapses, no need to pressure or to feel depressed, just move on learn from mistakes and keep your head up
This is inspirational. I'm days ahead of even Lucid. Counting days is also fine because it's a means to an end. So what, as long as it gets us to where we need to be. It's not negative or nasty, it's a way we can get to where you are. It's about mindset, which is kind of what you said, but you have to keep that mindset, and breaking it at all is bad for me, so ill stay against that. Thanks. We are obviously still here as your audience
Around 8-9 months ago I stopped hitting n1c. I broke the streak around last week because I was very stressed because of school, and family member death. But that isnt a excuse. God be with you Lucid and keep moving forward. Thanks for all the help.
Been on NoFap since like 3-4 years ago almost 4 now, I don’t count days it’s just never happening again
so do you feel different? are you rich now. are you living the best life. go get surgery for a vagina. you're a disgrace to men.
@@mrhatchyK24 bro who hurt you
valuable advice. if you break it once, stay disciplined, don't keep relapsing because its gonna make it worse
I still support you bro 💪🏾
the reak sanji vinsmoke supports lucid in his darkest era
This is why nobody can beat Alex, he’s the best… What’s crazy is that I lost a streak of around 300+ days recently too, so we’re in the same boat-
W honesty/clarity
That’s enough rambling from me, i need some work also.
great job man, you finally said it, the count days = ego is facts
there is no reason to stop, the fact that you still haven't quit thinking about how to not do it again is just a super progress than not even thinking about how to get rid of it, keep it going people, ain't no stupid pixels weakening us!
What I learnt about nofap is to not concentrate on the streak because the whole point of it is to get it out of your mind. Nofap streaks defeat the point because it will make you constantly think about it. and count the days when you shouldn't which will gaurentee a relapse. When you do so, think of it as a checkpoint, not a reset- that is my nofap advice!
make "no fap" a lifestyle, something that you just simply dont do, you arent that person anymore. counting the days keeps you emotionally attained to it, basically making the numbers the way you feel, but when you finally let go of that, and just start living, not associating that feeling with your old habits. when that feeling arises, you dont associate it with that action, but you associate it as a normal feeling continuing with your day.
facts this comment has to be pinned
No matter whats going on, i hope you are doing well my homie
Dont say your "Trying to quit" Just say "You don't do it" This will affect your mind in a positive way, I Love all yall homies
❤❤❤🙏
Hamza has a great way of circumventing the streak problem, thinking about the goal of nofap being getting to the "golden point" which is the point where you forget that nofap exists because engaging in that stuff isnt even on your mind
Alex you've been a big inspiration in my life. I remember watching your day 300 video and also your advice on life and NoFap.
Never thought I’d see the day lucid would break the streak💀
Great vid.
This was uploaded a year ago
I’ve gone through a phase of reversion recently. I dislocated my elbow and used that as an excuse to stop going to the gym and start eating like shit. This video opened my eyes and I realised, I’m pitiful right now. Going back to the gym today and putting an end to this little two week falter of mine.
It’s not about a streak. It’s about the percentages. It’s how often you do it.
bro i get people say its healthy, but since i stopped (only a week in btw man) it feels great, you just feel happier. like yes, do it from time to time, maybe like once a week maybe once every two weeks? because that, that is healthy, but daily just isn't i stopped daily im so happy now
😂
im really proud of my self at day 4
i deleted all +18 videos and photos

Thanks for this chat. This my Day 1.
it takes a big pair to publicly announce that you broke your Nofap streak.

Aint no way, the day came?
Danm bro, don't worry, we all do relapse, but never stop trying. Nofap has been a life changer for me. Honestly made my life change by 180°
After being addicted for 10 years and struggling to give up for 4 of those years I have finally and confidently say I am finished with P and fapping.
Sad man it’s alright bro we all go though this
bro filled a whole pool wit it
That's his floor
I actually really appreciate this. I was doing so well even if it was just like 3 weeks I haven’t done that well in so long and when I fell I thought it was all over but I know it’s not. And seeing it happen to someone I look up to is kind of reassuring that it can happen to anyone and we can pick ourselves back up. It’s not over
I am glad you are honest about it bro
My longest streak was year and a half. Started nofap again because I found out I have an illness that is triggered by ejaculating. Every time I release, I immediately get bad depression and brain fog so now I plan to just give up releasing, but keeping my desensitized outlook on adult content

I’m so much better than you!” It’s better
someone said its a deep fake 💀
It's not about abstaining for as many days as possible,it's about reaching the realisation that you simply don't need to do it anymore.
This video like someone who quit smoking once said every time they smoked again it was just another lesson that they had to learn.
May Allah Sub'hanahu Wa Ta'ala bless you my bro with endless goodness of Dunya and Akhirah ♥
You saved me from a relapse. God bless you again
Even if you did, after this video you would get back up and keep moving forward becuase it didint reset everything
i've been doing my workouts outside recently. After just two days of doing it I feel more connected with myself and nature man. It's almost as if it puts me in a *flow* state of mind. Sliding my beef jerky hasn't really been a strong thought since then.

Number is just a tracker but honestly its the experience, healing, and learning thats the most important through the process. It really heals your mind from the toxicity of pornography, alters how you view sexuality and women, and honestly my favorite thing is gaining more self-respect for myself and feeling more energetic.
This is no longer a streak , it’s a life style

I’m currently going through something that I need to lay off of. Drug related I went 12 days then 18 now I’m on day 5 thank you for this video. I feel bad but this made my day thank you bro
Breaking the streak doesn’t matter. You still have the muscle you had from going without it, you just had a little slip.
I lost my streak of 240, it was really bad, it was connected with a sin that I committed. Unfortunate, but we are human beings, we sin.
May Allah forgive you
I swear this mentality of "streak based" mindset has done more harm than watching p*rn.
Brain chemistry was a very valid point you made there totally agree.👍👍👍
Man I relapsed 2 days ago...this gave me some motivation again and get back to studies properly.
ill give you some tips: delete insta, if you see a channel or content with explicit content/pornography click on “do not recommend” and you won’t get this type of content anymore.

After seeing this video it has givin me a slap in the face that said "Just because you hit it once doesn't mean its broken. Keep moving forward". Thank you lucid for this video it means a lot and it has gotten my brain outta the gutter.
