      Kind of random to break that back tab off, I thought.
      Considered upgrading to aluminum, but it was a $100 part!

    Thanks! Someone just gave me this Truck. It’s brand new. They ran it twice and on the second run crashed it and broke the front diff outdrive shaft and the front suspension arm. It’s basically brand new. They didn’t want to fix it and had a bad taste in their mouth. I’ll fix it, I can’t believe how big the thing is lol. It dwarfs my 1/8th scale buggy.

      It is a REALLY AWESOME truck for sure. Working on it is a pain, bit otherwise, it is a blast.

    I have to tear my front diff down left side broken. Thanks for the class I thought the input gear would be bigger for this beat.

    Did you store it in a swamp after your last run? 😀
    Good detail and pacing. What was the total repair time?

      Ha! Yes. You are not the only one to say that. :)
      Total repair time was hours...hours.

    What were you experiencing that caused you to replace the front diff? On mine, for the life of me idk what is causing it to wobble horribly on full throttle! I changes everything except the front diff housing/gear.

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  Рік тому

      It was a loss of power to the front wheels for me.
      A wobble is usually more like a bent driveshaft, I would think.

    I see that you grease the diff internals but not the outside where the ring and pinion gear are. Does the grease from the diff just work its way to those?

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  Рік тому

      The internal diff grease is a tuning point for driving feel.
      The outside is needed in 1:1 vehicles for longevity and wear. In RC, the outside grease is just not that important. If anything, just provide a thin layer.

    Hi roadside rc. I have maybe somthing that you can answer me. I have one issue with my SRR. When i go full throttle from start my SRR drift everytime on the left. What can i make to "fix" it?

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  3 роки тому +1

      That is a unfortunate side effect of the solid rear axle. Mine did the exact same thing.
      You will find if you turn down the power, it doesn't do it (or at least, as badly).
      If you can increase the stiffness of the rear sway bar, that will help some

    • @heby87
      @heby87 3 роки тому

      You dont think its maybe something with the rear diff?

    Everyone should really be using Udder Butter in their diffs. This diff oil crap just doesn't cut it for lubrication like grease does. Once I started using Udder Butter from Cow RC, I never went back. It's FAR superior to other lubricants.

    • @RoadsideRC

      1. It's super waterproof grease
      2. It's almost impossible to fling off of gears
      3. Super high temp resistant
      4. Has anti-wear additives
      5. Is good for bearings, axles, gears, etc.
      And it is available in a container or a syringe with a cap

      When it pops-up and says "see the other video", it points to the cage removal video in the pop-up card at the top right. Those two videos go directly together. The cage removal gets you to directly where this video starts.
