- Here's an epic leokimvideo how to trick or treat video explaining my 2014 Halloween Trackmaster 2 Thomas The Tank spooky trains & scary spider train set. I will explain my processes and ideas in making Thomas The Ghost Engine using a Pez candy, Skeletor Gator, Jack O Lantern Diesel 10, Scary Giant Spider James and very spooky and special Glow In The Dark Devious Diesel.

Using the Thomas and Friends Trackamaster 2 playsets Deluxe Avalanche Escape, Troublsome Traps and Water Tower starter set I start to build a large scary spider inspired Halloween train set. In the video I show and explain the Trackmster 2 expansion packs Sodor spiral, Dockside Delivery Crane, Rail Repair Cargo and Cars, Thomas & Friends Raceway, Sodor Tunnel, Maron Bridge and I also use parts of Gordon's Hill to make a very dynamic and interesting Thomas and Friends Trackmaster layout.
This video is long but hopefully there is lots of ideas for your custom train conversions. I had a huge learning curve trying to get my head around the new Thomas and Friends Trackmaster 2 track system which is very different to the old TOMY or classic Trackmaster track. When I made the custom trains I show you my ideas and how I use simple tools to make the custom parts fit onto the toy trains. Most importantly I explain how to pull apart the plastic components on the new Trackmaster 2 Thomas The Tank so you can paint the running board white. This simple paint job completely elevates the Thomas into Thomas Awesome. It's very sad the toy company's who make Thomas The Tank tend to neglect this very important aspect to the look of Thomas The Tank.

That glow in the dark stuff is amazing! Your next big project should be painting some engines and rolling stock and having them all running on a layout. The track shouldn't be though, as it makes the engines look as if they're floating if you leave them alone :)

I love your long videos leo. Sadly not many people like long videos now a days. I am a little disappointed you didn't make one for 2015, but I know the longer videos are harder to make and when a fourth of the feed back is hate I can see why you would not want to make one. Amazing work! I think the reason why Diesel 10 stopped working at 39:58 is because it might be knock off, as the normal D10 has black wheels.
When I was 4 these were amazing, I'm now 13 and enjoy these still

Another great video! It would be better if they made this new Trackmaster 2 as a separate series and slowly phase out Trackmaster. Also you could try titling your videos better. I' kinda being title nazi here though simpler titles seemed to be liked. Something like "Halloween Special 2014!: Thomas the Ghost Engine".

I love Glow in the Dark Diesel personally. So simple, but the effect is amazing. I've never used that kind of paint before, but maybe I'll give it a try sometime should any projects I make need it. In a way, he makes me think of an updated Ghost Percy from last year.
Now if you could try the sheet ghost with glow in the dark paint, depending on how bright it glows, you could have quite a potent little model.

My favorite would have to be Glow in the Dark Diesel. :) However, Diesel that has his spooky mask on his face, it reminds me of Slender man which is a creature with no face.

Going out today to by some glow in the dark paint for my son's set. We got him the set with James and the haybell in it and he wants to paint him now. Also think the paint would do awesome on some of our Halloween decor.

Maybe the rail comes apart to well, break the rails. The pack isn't called 'the rail repair' for nothing..! Although i have no clue about the race track pack. I really like the Diesel 10, very cute! Although th downsize Mattel did DOES give an interesting impression. Something BIG and scary, is scarier than something jsut scary. Last year's Diesel 10 was scarier, that one was longer..! But wait, why did you use Duracel's? But anyways, i don't think i've seen 3 scary trains crash, ever..! I really liked this video, it's always fun to see the old style of Leokimvideo come out to play!

You should put the cargo in the truck with the cover up. So you have cargo in Gator's truck with the tarp over it.

Here I am again with my late comments, but I have to say I am really liking the glowing Diesel-it's so simple yet so effective! Also because it's the only one I could have a chance of doing myself (I am terrible with anything crafty-I have the ideas, but they never turn out the way they should haha)

I never got into Halloween-my parents hated the Americanisation so I was not allowed to go trick or treating. Only later, when people started having themed parties did I start to get it, but even then, you can't teach and old dog new tricks...
***** Whats weird about Halloween is it is in reality a English celebration, yet it never transposed to Oz. In the last 10 years there has been a real push of halloween stuff in the shops, and because of the way we all look at trends online we now get mass servings of whats deemed popular from the USA...ever notice how UA-cam has a real American flavour to it. But then that is the home turf of the majority of viewers. I found for you a lovely TOMY Transformer toy, I know you collect that stuff now so how could I not pick one up for you.

It interesting to note as well the addition of the pumpkins to Diesel 10 gives him a sort of Chugginton-esque shape. Or actually quite similar to the shapes of the characters in Underground Ernie... just with a spooky pumpkin face :P

LoonoGames Just on the Trackmaster 2 stuff, I can see from the stores I go to it's all sold out, maybe Toys R Us will have some BUT they will also have the highest price
