I'm now in 11th grade, and seeing this video again just feels like it's come back in a circle again. I honestly believe this video kept me in band all those years ago.
Wow, stunning virtuosity that wonderfully captures frantic and seemingly random motion, like we imagine in bees. The speed is amazing, especially when executed with such extraordinary precision and control. And you have the confidence to do it live, and pull it off beautifully. Just amazing.

I tried to play one of these instruments many many years ago in school, and holy shit it was hard to hold it exactly the right angle to get anywhere near something that for a split seconds could be identified as a sound and then to hold it there continually, just no way.

3y3ofag3m3ni hypothetically speaking, if you were to have played a woodwind instrument like the flute rather than an orchestra instrument (i’m not biased- i play flute and violin), you could always have learned how to circular breathe.

kinghwanghyunjinnie circular breathing is bad for flute! In flight of the bubblebee, it's an unspoken rule to have only breath 3 maximum breaths😊
