correction, the dragon aemond rides is the largest ridden targaryen dragon, yes vermithor is smaller than her, but there is another dragon on dragonstone that could be either as big as her or bigger, as it is neither a targaryen dragon or a ridden dragon.
Rhaenyra has had the most emotional 48 hours ever. She found out her father died, Aegon and the Hightowers usurped her throne, had a miscarriage, attended a funeral that turned into a coronation, confronted Otto, confronted her husband, and lost another child. That look at the end tells you everything.
The way how it came down to Arrax and Vhagar acting out their own, like Viserys said in episode 1 "the idea that we control the dragons is an illusion" and so the Dance of Dragons has begun.
@@theperson8539 you just described what happened,I have eyes,I saw that too. so I really don't see your point other than not getting the obvious joke .-.
I was uncomfortable with the amount of graphic birthing scenes in this season initially, but then I remembered what Aemma says to Rhaenyra in episode 1, "The birthing bed is a woman's battlefield". We are so desensitized to seeing bloody battles that take life, but are uncomfortable with a birthing scene that gives life and expect it to be portrayed as scarcely seen and only heard from afar. With the way HOTD shows it, it takes you into a woman's world, we understand their pain and realize all of the hardships they have to go through. And it makes you respect the characters more for it and helps us understand the reasoning behind their actions-as mothers, as leaders, as political schemers, as badass women.
@@MrFredstt yes, the war start when they take the throne, but don't forget that Rhaenyra was thinking about accepting the terms by Hightower and to hold the unity. This event is the ultimate trigger.
sad thing is Lucerys didnt order his dragon Arrax to attack Vaghar, Arrax is a very young dragon, he thought he was protecting Lucerys. Both of them were babies and terrified... Yet they tried to defend each other in their own way. this also shows how dragons feel and respond to the emotions of their rider. Syrax was crying out in pain during Rhae’s labor. Arrax was responding to Luke’s fear, and Vhagar was responding to Aemond’s anger.
Like Masters, like dragons ! A proud boy who want to be respected, and a reckless little boy who protect the more weak. This two dragons are like there masters was few years ago.
I agree with all of this except the last part, Vhagar acted solely on her own, she took it as a direct challenge, if Aemond and her had a stronger bond she would of listened to him.
Props to Emma D’Arcy for that stillbirth scene and the final scene. The way they portrayed the combination of pain and anger, really embodying Rhaenyra Targaryen in this episode and showed us their true range. Rhaenyra lost 2 children and her father in the space of an episode, and Emma played her perfectly. Rip Luke & Arrax :(, the parallels of ‘the idea we control the dragons is an illusion’ came full circle in this episode - with Arrax and Vhagar both disobeying their riders - I can’t wait for season 2
@@iris-xo I think it’s due to the lack of promotion involving them. They do seem like a very private person, hence them not attending many events. I hope it’s for this reason, and not for a fear of backlash - many people are not accepting of identities, I’ve seen many using the wrong pronouns for them. Which sucks I think the whole cast is amazing, but Emma really shined this episode and proved that the casting directors made the right choice.
@@brandonh4195 Emma has shined in every episode they've been in and I do think they're a private person and I hope that's why they haven't done much promo but it could also be a mix to avoid backlash / millions of opinions sadly - they probably just see it as easier avoiding doing promotion
I disagree on the final scene. Her body language from behind was perfection, but her face just cant do anger and sorrow. She looks like a little girl who lost her doll.
Dragons aren't toys to play with. Aemond forgot this and Luke paid the price. Arrax got scared and attacked and Vhagar retaliated as a fierce beast would, neither of the boys had control of their dragons. Viserys said it himself in the first episode, "The idea we control the dragons is an illusion."
@@drewferguson4787 yeah but Knives arent sentient beings with almost human like emotions and egos and also arent giant flying flamethrowers. Bad comparison lul^^
I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. Maybe some sort of survival switch that kicks in. Would certainly explain the extreme brutality of just snapping that smaller one in pieces.
The scene of Vhagar in the back when Lucery looked behind the castle was like jurassic park 1 when the T-rex ate the goat and then the two kids and the old guy got scared like what happened to Arrax.
lyrics in English of daemon song Fire breather Winged leader But two heads To a third sing From my voice: The fires have spoken And the price has been paid With blood magic With words of flame With clear eyes To bind the three To you I sing As one we gather And with three heads We shall fly as we were destined Beautifully, freely
Vermithor (the dragon who was approached by Daemon in the cave) is the former dragon of King Jaehaerys, the man we saw in episode one naming Viserys to be his successor over Rhaenys. Vermithor is also the third largest dragon alive, it's Balerion the black dread, than Vhagar (Aemond's dragon) and than Vermithor.
He was running away of the big dragon, not fighting (smart move actually) then his dragon attack on its own and Vhagar used him as a snack above the clouds, so every statement up there is wrong
4 births, 3 of them stillbirths, and the last one of them, Rhaenyra forced the baby out because she knew if she let the maidens help they might conclude to cut her open. These have all been so traumatizing.
I thought Daemon choking Rhaenyra was a brilliant and deliberately shocking way to highlight the idea that Dragons are never fully tame. Daemon is 100% Targaryen, a dragon in human skin. His blood and bone is fire and chaos made flesh. I feel Rhaenyra understands this because she doesn’t admonish him or scream for help. Shes not even angry. She’s just surprised that Daemon knew nothing about the Song of Ice & Fire and likely understands for Daemon the fact that his brother didn’t consider him a truly worthy successor is a festering wound on his soul that no sane person should poke. I just feel it’s a deeper moment than just an abusive act.
You're taking it way too literal ( hes no more of a "dragon" than every other targaryean which is to say he isnt one) and using it to somehow rationalize Daemon's behavior ( Rhaenyra was clearly in shock though ). It shows that Daemon is and has always been overly emotional and violent. Saying its a metaphor from dragons just seems like reaching
@@trippersigs2248 Nah it just shows that he is actually watching and trying to understand what is going on, you are just watching. Maybe it is disinterest, or maybe your brain isnt capable of thinking and watching.
Daemon would never be against Rhaenyra, he is her staunchest supporter. However, "the idea we control the dragons is an illusion" applies to Daemon as well. He was the closest to their ancestry, fire and chaos made flesh. A Dragon in human form. Daemon is also extremely loyal to his family, he always put them first, as chaotic as he was, he loved his brother and Rhaenyra the most.
RIP Lucerys and Arrax, he just wanted to listen to his momma, he didn't even really wanna go like that. I like that Aemond had that "oh shit" look because those dragons are not pets or toys. Mind you Vhagar's first rider was Visenya Targaryen's, the sister-wife of Aegon the Conqueror when they came to take Westeros. Arrax was trying to defend Luke because these dragons aren't here to play games lol
Rule one, don't listen your mom talking shit about peace. As a man, it always war. Women are just so dumb, about maintaining peace. If it was Daemon it wouldn't have come to this
The show does a good job of playing with the unreliability of the OG book as a historical account. Nobody but Aemond and Luke were present for that battle so my guess is that for s2, Aemond will bury his guilt and shame at screwing up and try to save face by telling everyone he did it on purpose?
Either that or the Greens will say that Luke was the one that started the fight. My only thing is is if Rhaenyra and her side went to Borros and asked what happened, it’d be pretty obvious that Aemond was the aggressor.
@@Sage0fThiccPaths and then it would be assumed that after they left Aemond killed Luke intentionally. After all, why would anyone from the Blacks side believe what Aemond says, if he was to say it was an accident, when it seems so obvious. The one upside is that this might get Borros Baratheon on side since he seemed to care a lot about honour. And no spoilers, I've only seen the shows.
@@wyattchandler6359 exactly. I won’t spoil anything as a book reader. Plus the book, Fire & Blood, is written like an in-universe history book from third and fourth accounts, while the show is the “true” version of the events. So even if you did see some book spoilers, they may or may not be disproven/changed in the show so I’d take them with a grain of salt.
Finally, reactors who actually watched the episode and read the subtitles! Great job understanding the whole episode and did not hate Rhaenyra for not wanting to start a war in the beginning! I really enjoy your reactions🇵🇭🙏
Same, I find the dragon keepers in the show really interesting, like they only speak High Valeryen at all times, and despite not being Targaryen they’re seemingly able to at least be near the unclaimed dragons and give them somewhat basic commands
@@JuneAssassin21 no, he's the 4th. It goes Vhagar, Vermitor, Silver wing, THEN Cannibal, and after that the rest follows. I'm pretty sure Caraxes and Sunfyre might be the next largest
I personally think they included the graphicness of the stillbirth to further show the reasoning to support Rhaenyra’s stance by the end of the episode of how much she lost and the physical pain, anguish, and heartbreak the Greens put her through (as the stress of betrayal is what triggered the stillbirth).
@@jmv2139 Rhaenyra knew she was going to daemon though. That’s why she was so confident. However Luke was sent as a messenger which is actually far more dangerous (I know messengers are not meant to be harmed) because it is an actual war and anything can happen (as we saw). Yes it was different situations. Viserys was a smart man but he didn’t know his family very well which is why he forbade rhaenyra to go.
@@jmv2139 i know, I’m just pointing out the clever parallels lol, i like how writers did these 2 scenes with similar premise, "should we use dragons to get ahead of the enemy"
The bows and allegiance scene to Rhaenyra was a great moment There was so much forboding in this episode. At first i thought lightning was going to strike Lucerys and Arrax . Viserys always said the idea that we control the dragons is an illusion. I knew one of the brothers wasn't going to return. Farewell Lucerys and Arrax. The look on Aemonds face even he knows it's on now !!
29:29 I think he accepted it ...he actually said 'I'll take your eye for my mom' he's the closest to Alicent and probably felt bad bc SHE couldn't forget about his eye so he couldn't forget it either He even brought Aegon to Alicent when he wanted him to disappear he's a good son to her Also even tho Vhagar wasn't hers by any rights Rhaena must be really angry now : her mom's former dragon got snatched by an enemy and now killed her brother/cousin/friend/fiancé and probably many more in the future on her side... that's hard ....Daemon and Baela will probably feel the same if they fight Vhagar in the future
The note that Alicent sent was the page from the history book that Rhaenyra tore out when they were children. It was a sympathy play, nothing more. I had to give Otto credit, but he also knew that it was against the moral code to kill a messenger. Violating that code is dangerous, it can turn your allies against you. It makes what happens with Aemond even worse. The death of a messenger, who is also a family member, anyone on the fence in this war is likely to declare against the Hightower for this violation.
If rumors are correct the dragon Daemon was singing to could be Vermithor. He is consider the second larges Living dragon at the moment. He's also seen lots of wars with King Jaehaerys and is basically Battle Ready. He could give Vhagar a run for her money. There's also another rumor saying it could be "The Cannibal" A Dragon said to be just as big a Balerion, who takes pleasure in eating other dragons and their eggs. But I doubt its the him It's just like Daenerys said "A Dragon is not a Slave". She even had problems with Drogon throughout the GOT series with him being snappy, not listening at times ect. They are basically playing around with living breathing Nuclear/Atomic weapons that can snap at any moment.

Originally ridden by King Jaehaerys, the king before Viserys. For me it’s about honoring the Dead Kings wishes for the last 20 years! But one clouded conversation with the dying King made the Queen turn tail and crown her son…out of fear of the unknown if you ask me.
The worst part is, even if Alicent didn’t misunderstand Vicerys, or he didn’t say anything on his death bead, Otto already had a plan in motion with the other members of the council and they would’ve went ahead with it even if Alicent wasn’t down… I feel like at that point, Otto would’ve had Alicent locked up if she weren’t on board with the treason ☹️

Doubt it. He was still an unquestionable bastard. Would have spent the majority of his lordship fighting claims of his illegitimacy. Remember, the king can legitimize bastards. But Viserys never officially did, because he never recognized them as such. Touching, but when it comes to things like inheriting titles and land, you need official decree stating that he was legitimized. You can’t just infer the king’s or his father’s intentions. Since neither would be around, you could just as easily claim that they didn’t know Luce and Jace are illegitimate, and wouldn’t have accepted them as heirs had they known.
@@rickkcir2151 No, he would've became Lord of the tides when lord Corlys passed which could've been years and years from now.... and Rhaernya would be Queen of the seven kingdoms, absolutely no one in the realm would try to go up against the house of the dragon for obvious reasons... that's why the house itself is the only thing that can take itself down. @@iris-xo “Viserys and Corlys very clearly and obviously claimed them as trueborns” Cool, then where is the royal decree or documentation where Viserys recognized the boys as bastards and legitimized them. Plus, it isn’t just would be lords trying to claim his titles that he would have to worry about. The people themselves probably wouldn’t be to keen on being governed by an illegitimate ruler.
A huge thing to take from this episode is that whatever emotion the dragon rider is feeling the dragon picks up on it and react you can see when rhaenyra is givin birth her dragon was screaming and on the bridge wit otto and when daemon was testing the guards loyalty his dragon just pulled up n was ready for him to say dracarys
Rhaenys should have been the one to go to storms end, since her mother was a Baratheon she even has black hair in the book. Also it isn't too far fetched to me that Daemon could form a somewhat bond with another dragon Dany main bond was with Drogon but she had some with the other two not sure if someone else could bond with it and take it form his control Aemond has a sapphire in his socket, his sigil in the intro changed to a sapphire
Vhagar is an old and battle hardened dragon, she takes shit from no one so yeah both of them lost control of their dragons. It will be interesting how Aemond even tries to explain this massive screw up to his mother, they really won't be happy.
I love how Daemon is "crossing a line" when he choked his wife/niece but him smashing his first wife's head in with a rock was forgotten immediately. 🤣
Vhagar was never promised to Rhaena Targaryen (Laena's daughter) except in Rhaena's own mind. Targaryen children usually have dragon eggs placed in their cradles when they are born; Rhaena's sister Baela's egg hatched the dragon Moondancer (who is still quite young, just big enough to fly now), but Rhaena's egg never hatched (sometimes they don't hatch; like the egg placed in Aemond's cradle). Sometimes a Targaryen child will claim a mature, riderless dragon; Princess Helaena (Alicent and Viserys' daughter, sister of Aegon and Aemond) claimed the mature dragon Dreamfyre when Helaena was 11 (it is very possible that Dreamfyre was the mother of Daenerys' dragons Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion); and that claiming is usually done with the consent of the child's parents or parent. But once the dragon has been claimed, the bond can only be broken by the death of either the dragon or the rider, or both. Vhagar was not tied to the Velaryon family; before Laena claimed her, she was the mount of Prince Baelon Targaryen, father of Viserys I and Daemon Targaryen (and grandfather of Aemond Targaryen), who predeceased his father King Jaehaerys I.
Rhaenyra gave birth to a dragon. She named her daughter Visenya which is a cursed name. In the very first episode, Aemma tells Viserys that Rhaenyra wanted to name her new sibling
16:04 Corlys Velaryon: "Hope, is a Fools Ally". Me who watched each episode of House of the Dragon & Rings of Power back-to-back every week: "Hope is never foolish. Even when it is meager."
3:22. At least Rhaenyra is aware of what she was in her youth. 3:57. You can't exactly blame Daemon, look at how bad Viserys was during his six years with only the Hightowers around him, of course he'd blame them for murdering his big brother. 4:33. With dragon scales incorporated into their armour. 5:26. The last thing she needs is opium during labor. Also Celtigar, the guy talking about Corlys, is of Valyrian stock like the Targaryens and Velaryons, but of lesser status. 5:41. And Daemon mistrusts the maesters. 6:02. That's a funny little slip on Caraxes's part. 6:06. "You two saw nothing!" 7:50. He is Erryk, the good Cargyll. 9:40. Boremund's only son. 10:02. Their only adult dragons. 10:08. These two you could describe as being married. Their riders, Jaehaerys and his sister-wife Alysanne respectfully, loved each other deeply, and their dragons reflected that bond, so much so they share a condo in the Dragonmont, curling up together to sleep. Once we get to see them in daylight in season 2, it's highly unlikely we'll ever see them separated. And the only reason Daemon says they're still riderless is that they're half-feral. 10:13. Grey Ghost, Sheepstealer, and the Cannibal. Only one of these three will ever allow someone to ride them, and it's all in the name. 10:52. I mean, Vhagar's the easiest, she's the ancient Kaiju sized bitch with the saggy neck. 14:16. Most people forget Daemon has had a very rough 24 hours, he just found out his big brother is dead, his nephew has usurped the throne from his wife, his daughter with said wife ends up stillborn, then Otto comes by demanding they surrender to Aegon, with Rhaenyra preventing violence(which Daemon was waiting for), and then he and his wife have a dispute in front of all of their supporters. Then, he finds out that his brother never once thought to name him heir and share the reason behind Aegon the Conqueror's taking of almost all of Westeros. The guy's at the cusp of losing it and the prophecy bit nearly pushed him over. 17:04. Which is good, though sending ravens for King's Landing to petition for new houses from second and younger sons to be created and sent to the Stepstones would've helped too. 19:32. Behold, the Bronze Fury, *VERMITHOR! SECOND LARGEST OF THE TARGARYEN DRAGONS!!* 19:38. That's what she said! 19:43. Not really, but any fight between Vhagar and Vermithor would need to factor in Silverwing, as she wouldn't leave her hubby to fight Granny Vhagar on his own. Vermithor is also a veteran like her, only less so. 19:49. Considering this is his grandfather's dragon, half-feral, and the second biggest dragon in the family, it makes sense he'd be a bit scared. 21:34. That would be a sapphire he has had in his eye socket for years, likely soon after he lost his actual eye, as the flesh has grown *AROUND* the jewel. 22:25. Away, that's where Vhagar is, and Aemond along with her. 23:08. Perfect way of comparing Vhagar to Arrax, cause he is teeny tiny. 23:11 That is also what she said! 23:36. That is, again, what she said. Please stop making this so easy! 🤣 24:14. Arrax is, not Luke. This part is where the riders thoroughly lose control of their dragons. It's like Viserys said, "The notion that we control our dragons is an illusion." These guys can feel the emotions of their riders, and that translates very badly for Luke and Arrax. 24:36. Like a great white shark. 24:48. Yeah, not only does he realize that he's started the war for real, with at least a hundred thousand people doomed to die, but by being Vhagar's rider, he'll be labeled a kinslayer, one of the biggest taboos in the GoT universe.
Gotta love how the illusion of control is like the theme of this season. Illusion of control of the throne. Of your life/death and especially of your dragon
This episode was intense from start to finish. Shit is about to get real now. Rhaenyra is like: "Ok bitches, y'all wanted a war so badly, you're gonna get it." That woman is pissed. Aemond... you had ONE job to do!!! Dude just couldn't leave well enough alone and basically got that boy killed and just started the flames of war. Just... wow. And the music was just sublime too!
29:30 I have to heavily disagree there. Aemond didn’t steal a dragon from anyone. There is no such thing as promising a dragon to someone because a dragon chooses their rider. Vhagar was unclaimed and Aemond claimed her. He has every right to be resentful for losing his eye over that. Remember that it was the other kids that initiated the fight with him and it was also those kids who first used a deadly weapon in that fight. Still, Aemond went too far in trying to scare Luke and you can’t help but feel bad for Luke & Arrax.
Just for reference the largest Targaryen dragons goes; Vhagar, vermithor(70-80% of vhagars size), silverwing, dreamfyre, meleys/caraxes(pretty much identical half the size of vhagar at best), syrax, sunfyre, seasmoke and all the rest are barely able to be ridden pretty much baby dragons…but with wild dragons “the cannibal” is bigger than vermithor behind vhagar, while sheepstealer is bigger than silverwing behind vermithor(but wild ones are nearly impossible to tame especially the cannibal which is about 85-90% of vhagars size closest to her maybe even just as large)! Great reaction!
What's really cool about him being like " I placed a garrison and fortified the stepping stones, we now fully control it " Reanyra actually asked why they hadn't done that the first time they took it, to prevent further war and bloodshed, so he clearly took that to heart and personally made sure it was done when they had to go back and take it, which proves that even when she was young, she was a smart leader
Aemond has a Sapphire in his eye. The Dragon Daemon was singing to is Vermithor, Old King Jahaerys' dragon, Daemon and Viserys' grandfather. He's the 2nd biggest in the world behind Vhaegar and doesn't have a rider right now
I had the same exact reaction as Roshi when I saw that birth scene, it was a different kind of hard to watch than the birth scene in the first episode.
The Dragon that Daemon went to is Vermithor the Bronze Fury. He belonged to King Jaehaerys, he's the old King we saw in the beginning of Episode 1. Vhaegar is the largest dragon alive and Vermithor is the second largest. There's a chart available showing the sizes of each "tamed" dragon and Vermithor isn't that far off from Vhaegar.

Emma is such an amazing actor, I feel they haven't been praised nearly as much as they deserve
@@iris-xo I think it’s due to the lack of promotion involving them. They do seem like a very private person, hence them not attending many events. I hope it’s for this reason, and not for a fear of backlash - many people are not accepting of identities, I’ve seen many using the wrong pronouns for them. Which sucks
I think the whole cast is amazing, but Emma really shined this episode and proved that the casting directors made the right choice.
I think Emma D’Arcy has been incredible. Shows how she got the part. Imagine the girl playing young Rhaneyra doing the birth scenes?
The epitome of "It was at this moment; he knew he had fucked up" 😆
Dragons aren't toys to play with. Aemond forgot this and Luke paid the price. Vermithor (the dragon who was approached by Daemon in the cave) is the former dragon of King Jaehaerys, the man we saw in episode one naming Viserys to be his successor over Rhaenys. Vermithor is also the third largest dragon alive, it's Balerion the black dread, than Vhagar (Aemond's dragon) and than Vermithor.
wait..there's an even larger bitch than Vhagar?! Oh boy...
Ahhh, finally found one who knows the true ranking.
Balerion is dead tho, so Vermithor is the second largest alive not the third
Incorrect. The ranking of living dragons is The Cannibal, Vhagar and Vermithor.

“It could literally eat the dragon!“ No truer words have been spoken LMAO
Excellently said 💯
You're taking it way too literal ( hes no more of a "dragon" than every other targaryean which is to say he isnt one) and using it to somehow rationalize Daemon's behavior ( Rhaenyra was clearly in shock though ). It shows that Daemon is and has always been overly emotional and violent. Saying its a metaphor from dragons just seems like reaching
That's a beautiful description of him. His ability to calm Vermithor and wordlessly command Caraxes shows how strong his connection is to the dragons.

Arrax attacked sensing Lucery’s distress and trying to defend him. Poor Luke. He was just trying to get home to his mama.
I really love that detail when Rhaenyra first enters the war room (?) after her coronation, she invites both Baela and Rhaena to the table with her
RIP Lucerys and Arrax, he just wanted to listen to his momma, he didn't even really wanna go like that.
@@wyattchandler6359 exactly. I won’t spoil anything as a book reader. 29:29 I think he accepted it ...he actually said 'I'll take your eye for my mom' he's the closest to Alicent and probably felt bad bc SHE couldn't forget about his eye so he couldn't forget it either
He even brought Aegon to Alicent when he wanted him to disappear he's a good son to her
Also even tho Vhagar wasn't hers by any rights Rhaena must be really angry now : her mom's former dragon got snatched by an enemy and now killed her brother/cousin/friend/fiancé and probably many more in the future on her side... that's hard ....Daemon and Baela will probably feel the same if they fight Vhagar in the future
that must have been a very quiet ride to Kingslanding
“I need season 2 right now” I felt that
The note that Alicent sent was the page from the history book that Rhaenyra tore out when they were children.
Aemond: I will have his eye
Vhagar: Hold my saddle...
Aemond was looking for a fight, found it and then "oh shit, I didn't know that going to happen."
But I doubt its the him
It's just like Daenerys said "A Dragon is not a Slave". She even had problems with Drogon throughout the GOT series with him being snappy, not listening at times ect. They are basically playing around with living breathing Nuclear/Atomic weapons that can snap at any moment.
Just to give you a list of who rides which dragon (from what we've seen)
Rhaenyra - Syrax, gold scales
Daemon - Caraxes, red scales
Rhaenys - Meleys - copper scales
Jacearys - Vermax - green scales
Lucerys - Arrax - gray/silver scales (RIP to both)
Leanor (RIP) - Seasmoke - silver scales, now riderless, living on Driftmark
Vermithor, the Bronze Fury is the one Daemon sang to. Originally ridden by King Jaehaerys, the king before Viserys. Has been riderless for 30 years, living on Dragonstone
Aemond - Vhagar, green scales, the oldest and largest dragon currently living, one of the original three dragons used by Aegon the Conquerer to invade Westeros

Roshi’s reaction for the end and y’all reacting to the dragon chase was hilarious 😂
Rhaenyra gave birth to a dragon. She named her daughter Visenya which is a cursed name. In the very first episode, Aemma tells Viserys that Rhaenyra wanted to name her new sibling
Aemond really just wanted to intimidate Luke (maybe cut out an eye) but the dragons took it too far.

16:04 Corlys Velaryon: "Hope, is a Fools Ally".
Me who watched each episode of House of the Dragon & Rings of Power back-to-back every week: "Hope is never foolish. Even when it is meager."
Differing philosophies
6:06. "You two saw nothing!"
SECOND LARGEST OF THE TARGARYEN DRAGONS!!*
The ending of this finale is a symbol for when the gateway to Hell has been opened, there's no closing that door. 🔥
Don't forget that vhagar is not only the largest dragon, it's also a war veteran since the conquest
Sheera having mad flashbacks to days of labor pain. She reacting to Rheneyra just like when guys see other guys get kicked in the nuts.
Crazy to think that Balerion The Black Dread, Aegon the Conquerer's mount was *twice the size of Vhagar*
Best reaction out there guys, love it, I'll be coming back for 18 months to relive it haha
Roshi trying to pilot Arrax im dead lmao
What's really cool about him being like " I placed a garrison and fortified the stepping stones, we now fully control it " Reanyra actually asked why they hadn't done that the first time they took it, to prevent further war and bloodshed, so he clearly took that to heart and personally made sure it was done when they had to go back and take it, which proves that even when she was young, she was a smart leader
I think Aemond is going to own it. He's not about to admit he lost control of his dragon.
Aemond has a Sapphire in his eye. The Dragon Daemon was singing to is Vermithor, Old King Jahaerys' dragon, Daemon and Viserys' grandfather. He's the 2nd biggest in the world behind Vhaegar and doesn't have a rider right now
This episode was literally crazy, I don’t know if I can wait 2 years tho 😅. Props to all the actors
The kids dragon was still a baby that’s why he’s so tiny compared to aemonds dragon…but yeah it’s way bigger than all other dragons too
I'm still pissed that Damon didn't have his daughter claim her mother's dragon immediately!
The common raven is actually one of the smartest birds. It is probably one of the best birds to fly a message with their memory.
I had the same exact reaction as Roshi when I saw that birth scene, it was a different kind of hard to watch than the birth scene in the first episode.
I agree, I was hooked by every episode. I hope they keep the momentum going in the future seasons.
I feel like Rhaenyra and Alicent really care about the people. It’s the men like otto and daemon that spur everyone into conflict
Okay crazy person. That psycho tried to cut out a child's eye in front of a room full of people.
@@yukijames1321 All the Rues say Rhaenyra is the rightful heir.
