Bro thank you so much for your videos over the past years, I have done plenty of other research and it all lines up with what you say. im a first year pre-vet studying animal biology at uc davis but im scared bc it’s really competitive here and idk how to stand out. there’s sm prevet students here and even our in-state acceptance rate is low (22%)

Where did you apply?
I got into vet school on my first attempt (Australian) but there are plenty of people who tried multiple times. Don't be discouraged if you get knocked back it is extremely competitive.

Currently I’m doing pre-vet work at a community college, one that does transfer to 4-year universities in my state. I have a ton of veterinary experience because I went to a career tech high school that had veterinary science as a laboratory. I’ve had to work to support my household ever since I graduated high school so I’ve been painstakingly taking classes slowly. I’m currently 24 and Ave plans to apply this upcoming application cycle or the next one. It’s been a struggle but I can’t think of doing anything else. I want to work with exotics and companion animals but wouldn’t shelve large animal. I just want to get there.
wait so theoretically it takes 8 years for veterinarian meaning 4 years of college and 4 years of vet school so at the age 25 wouldn't you be done with everything and at that pint look for jobs?

Hey man I wanted to become a vet my whole life I’m a senior in high school and I’m taking a vet science course but I’m scared about failing. It’s hard to get internships now, I’m just stress that I will fail cause this is my dream to care for animals. Any advice? I love your videos btw 👍👍

focus on getting into college before internships bc you can always do that in college!! since you’re in your senior year, there’s not much you can do to get more extracurriculars but you got this!! if it’s your dream you will achieve it :) keep your head up
lucky some highschools dont have vet science but you taking that course will still give you a good chance of getting accepted to college
IDK if you remember me but I saw you in the hospital when I was at the UGA vet camp in 2019 and asked if you were that UA-camr!!!! I had just graduated high school then. I'm a junior now in pre-vet biology. Anyway, I hope you're doing well!

Senior year of High School i was able to work at a vet clinic. Originally it was to get my CVA but with Covid, I was unable to get it. Does anyone know if that would be considered "vet experience"? I mostly assisted the vet and vet techs with their cases, but was also stuck with kennel duty.
I plan on trying to shadow a local vet during college (probably starting next year), but i wanted to know if I could include the aforementioned as experience. Thank you so much in advanced, and it is always great seeing a video of yours pop up on my feed!

I’m currently getting my associates in business management at a local tech school to raise my GPA, after that I wanna get a bachelors in biology and go to UGA for Vet School! My stepdad is friends with a veterinarian, I’m going to his clinic tomorrow for my dog’s yearly and I’m going to ask if I can shadow him. I’m 20 and I finally figured out I wanted to be veterinary nutritionist after a few years of going back and forth on it.

Hello I got questions I’m thinking of going to a two year program with vet tech but I heard you have to have courses first like chemistry and biology and mathematics and to pass that I go to a trade school with animal experience
@Bitter Passions I’m going to colleges in Georgia I heard it hard to take bus to take you to town to town Bc the school that’s has vet tech is in Athens and it far so i have no choice but to go to Atlanta tech college it only has biological science no vet tech will I be fine
