- What's up Producers! In this video, I made Chill Slap House Music, a very popular genre which people can listen to in car, clubs and radio! Bass driven drop, atmospheric breakdowns, chill vibes and soothing vocals make up this genre.

Ever wondered how to make chill out tracks you can blast off your speakers with? Well, you clicked on the right video! In this video I have shown how to make a Slap House song under 10 minutes (although actual production will take a much longer time). From Breakdowns, Reese Bass, Mixing Bassline, Drop Percussion, Arrangement, Song Structure, you will see everything that is important to know.

True, plus shall have cuttet the reese bass the last 4th of the bar before for some extra energy for drop, but awesome track
@@zephyr8037 i wouldn't have removed it, but slowly cut out the lows during the build while playing just one note
@@helyxmusic Yeah sure thats what i meant like but a high pass filter, it isnt remvoing but it like fades the bass away before the drop and give it more energy
To me it fells more like the kick is too loud so you dont really notice the sub bass. Either the sub could have been louder or the kick could have been queiter. But also, I feel like it also lacked a lit of the mid bass frequencies. Because, only a sub with no top bass or other harmonics wont be all that powerful.
But yeah, I think it could have had more sub and mid bass frequencies.

Something that I do on my slap house tracks is that I put stuff like ambience in the drop (with sidechain of course) and I also use some 808 that play the same rhythm of the drop bass , you can also ad a little lead on the second part of the drop playing the same notes ass the vocal chops or if you don't feel like adding a lead you can also add some plucks but make sure that the lead or the plucks don't still the show (you want them to be there but slightly because if you add vocal chops they should be the ones that get the attention together with the bass and drums) you got this one dude :)

Depends on the sound, try to keep more than 4 or 5 notes in pads to bring out harmonics. You can be in C4-C6 octave depending on what sounds best
