Great vid fam! I have another video idea for you. In my opinion, it is very interesting for beatmakers/producers when a producer deconstructs a beat where the artists have made a lot of views on it. Bro In my channel, I upload tutorials in Southside type beat videos , but now I started posting r&b type beats. Will my channel grow?Or should I start another channel?
Hey bro usually I’d recommend having a seperate channel for tutorials and type beats because they’re for different types of audiences. Type beats are mostly for artists and tutorials are mostly for producers. And if you mix them on your channel it’ll confuse potential subscribers and make it hard hard for them to understand what you do and if it’s worth it for them to subscribe. So I’d recommend having separate channels.
@@prodzbeatz Thanks for clearing that up, I had heard a rumor online that content needed a voice to be monetized, great informative video, subscribed and shared this one with a friend.

hey man, I've been doing everything you recommended but am getting no impressions on my videos. I have a really high click through rate, and long view duration. Any ideas what is happening?
That's a great question - it definitely happens to me. I think the way you can expand your sound and keep it fresh while staying in your niche is by experimenting with the 2nd/3rd tag you use for your type beats. For example if you're going for "Post Malone type beat" you can try different other tags like "post malone x dominic fike type beat" for more indie guitar type beats or do "post malone x lil baby type" for more melodic rap type beats. But try not to go in too many different directions because at the end of the day you want a consistent sound to attract artists/subscribers who are looking for that thing. Let me know if that makes sense 🙏
Hi! Thank you for the video! I was just left wondering if I registered my beat in contenti id, does the buyers of my beat get a claim, and how it works?
Yes, it will claim anyone’s video that uses your beat that the system picks up. But you can whitelist their channel and release the claim. And it’s better for you to do it because if not then an artist will most likely claim content ID on it when they’re not supposed to and then it’ll claim and monetize on all other buyers videos and your original beat video. Let me know if that makes sense!
@@prodzbeatz Can I ask a question? You seem the one to ask. I am making content for a future channel about outdoor adventures, I am making some music for my videos, but i want to use some artists tunes in videos for now. i messaged some artists who's tracks i want to use, no replies yet. Can I just mention them and not monetise the video? any info appreciated

Hey man to prevent people from doing content ID on your beats I’d register all your beats with a UA-cam partner like identifyy. If it’s already happened though you will need to appeal the claim with UA-cam and tell UA-cam this artist purchased a license for the beat from your beatstore, include the link to your beat on Beatstars and say that it’s expressly against your license agreement for them to do content ID for this song using your beat.
As long as your metrics are good I’d keep doing what you’re doing. It seems like we may be in a little bit of a slow period for type beats. My views have gone down a little too and same with other producers I’ve talked to! So stay the course and keep posting consistently and it’ll come back 🙏
I've heard that if you have a dead youtube channel, you'd better start again. In my case, I haven't posted in 1 year, so do I have to start all over again even though I have over 200 subscribers?
I'd suggest starting a new channel in your case. Especially if you're going to change your sound from what you did before. Because trying to get your old subscribers attention/views after being gone for so long will be tough since they probably aren't thinking about your channel anymore. And the UA-cam algorithm weighs your current subscribers engagement with a lot more importance compared to new viewers, so it'll be tough to break out of that. If you start a new channel with good SEO (picking good keywords and staying consistent) you'll be able to gain 200+ subscribers a lot faster than if you went back to your old channel and tried growing it now. Let me know if that makes sense.
“Future type beat” is a more competitive keyword so I’d suggest going for something that has less competition. Use vidiq or tubebuddy to find some options that are in a similar lane but have a better SEO opportunity
my views don't get up it just stay like 50 views and that's it when I started doing Brazilian phonk i got like 2,5k views so but I wanna make trap beats
Hey bro the base level of vidiq is £15 a month and that's all you need. You could also use tubebuddy. In my opinion it’s worth it so you know what keywords to go after. Because if not, you’re just guessing.

What if it’s future type beat
“Future type beat” is a more competitive keyword so I’d suggest going for something that has less competition. Use vidiq or tubebuddy to find some options that are in a similar lane but have a better SEO opportunity
my views don't get up it just stay like 50 views and that's it when I started doing Brazilian phonk i got like 2,5k views so but I wanna make trap beats
What keyword are you trying to rank for with the trap beats?
Idk whats wrong with my videos but they seem to get no impressions lately.
Yo bro you start doing anything different? Or have you been doing the same things
@@prodzbeatz I always do tyler the creator type beats and sometimes have another artist like mac miller or have and album in the title.
It’s all good but vidiq is £50 a month just to get keywords no?
Hey bro the base level of vidiq is £15 a month and that's all you need. You could also use tubebuddy. In my opinion it’s worth it so you know what keywords to go after. Because if not, you’re just guessing.
