Coverlay makes a great dashboard cover. I installed one on my 2nd gen and unless you knew, you'd never know.
I would like to carry out some work on my 4runner but I'm afraid for my safety... being from 1990 it may contain asbestos, if so, where. Thank you
Which dash cover is that? I was going to fix mine and wrap it in new vinyl, but a cover would be easier.
What does the “up” switch do right below the cup holder?

Where did you get your seat covers done at? Love the channel 👍 also what tires are you using. Thanks
Tires are Mickey Thompson ATZ P3, 31 inch. So far they are the best offroad tire I've owned over the last, oh, 30 years. My only hesitation is they aren't often in stock, so getting a replacement on the fly isn't easy.
The seat covers came from www.lseat.com
You can get the install kit too.
I'll be editing the whole install video this week hopefully.
Where did you get the cup holder
A guy on ebay makes em!
Is that original paint on yours? No clear coat issues?
Yep original. No Clearwater peeling. It is kind of worn out though, the paint on the hood and roof feels like fine grit sandpaper lol.
@@AgileWoodsman Keep up on the waxing, especially if you normally park outside. We're up in Tahoe and the sun finally toasted some of the clear coat and the ruby paint underneath, on the top in front and behind the sunroof. We have lots of snow, and being at elevation our sun is even more intense. But if I kept up on waxing, it probably wouldn't have started failing after 29 years. My ruby red mica gets many comments of how great it looks...even with a little damage here and there.
