Hey hoopers, Love your isolations? check out this tutorial to help you correct your isolations! ua-cam.com/video/0P7iIB5i4H4/v-deo.html and let me know how it feels in the comments!!
To everyone trying to do isolations, don't give up!! It took me 8 months to finally build the arm strength and the stamina to do isolations and it's made me soo happy!! Good luck!!
Thanks for this! ❤ I’ve been hooping for a year and a half, almost daily, but rarely watch videos because 30 seconds in, I’m already overwhelmed. I can’t do any trick! Think I’m getting better though! Slowly lol! 😂
Sorry, but deanne is the best teacher!!!!! :-) love that kind of learning ...your tutorial help me so much! Sometimes i was thinking that i never will learn this nice game with the hoop but your tutorials show me how i can understand and feel:-) now i am not happy one day without my Hoop. thanks you a lot! Sorry for bad english and nice greetings from germany :-) Anne
Thank you!! Yes sustained spinning can be difficult to master without feeling like you want to puke. Dizziness is natural but you can try turning in both directions alternating, spotting a point in the room continuously or softening your gaze. Stopping regularly, drinking water and resting while you build up your spinning stamina is important Good luck!!
this was so good right now! I remember when I first saw the video as a beginner, I couldnt even find out how to do the first move with fun. Now I watched it again carefully, filmed myself to find out the mistakes and I finaly got all of the moves! so beginners, don´t give up, practise with calm and patience!
I just wanna say.... I LOVE YOU! your tutorials are extremely helpful and explained so deliberately. can't tell you just how much I appreciate your work!
Yay thanx Deanne! It's sometimes those little tips like making sure the whip out iso is close to the body that makes all the difference. I've been trying that move for forever and it just wasn't feeling right until I realised I wasn't doing it close enough to my body! So happy to finally have it!
You are absolutely amazing and such an inspiration Deanne! My sister and I record videos of us hooping in every state we travel through so I can't wait to use the new things that I'm constantly learning from you! Thank you for everything you do
Deanne, you're an excellent teacher. I just started hooping a few months ago and your videos have definitely helped with the process. And you're right -- having some good music playing definitely helps the flow. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!
Hey Dianne! My name is Jasmine and I am doing a presentation on you for one of my classes. My assignment was to find a way that youtube benefits our society. My presentation is on the access of being able to learn things for free. I am a hooper myself, and your videos have taught me a portion of what I know. I was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions for me?
Thank you so much. I've looved hooping since a child and have been dying to learn how to do the choreographed moves for exercise, it's just plain sexy and makes me happy.
Deanne you are incredible!!! You are an amazing hooper and you give the BEST tutorials ever!! You have no idea how much you have helped me become a better hooper!! I love it :) thank you so much!!
This is fantastic, but i would love to know how to do what you do at 5.24 The hoop comes from one side to the other in the popping motion and i have been struggling for a long time trying to learn this!! Help!
Jordan Cooper, you mean it? Because I am very tiny and am finding these soooo hard , everyone makes them sound so easy and that beginners should be able to do them. I feel weird that I am a beginner and still cant get them :/
Deanne - the hoop you are using - is it weighted at all? I have a hoop that is about 1.5 pounds I believe. I bought it from canyon hoops. when I try to do these "off body" moves it seems heavy and challenging on the wrists - and that is okay however I want to make sure I am not forcing my arms to do more work or UNnatural things than they should. any recommendations? I see people talking about polypro - I am assuming they are light weight. am I thinking right? thank you! Newbie - Ro
my hoops a 38 so its kinda heavier but i don't want to have to switch to a lighter hoop if i don't have to so im hoping u are right and that i can get them down with my hoop i have now :D
When I try to do these, the hoop just "follows" my hands down instead of staying in one place. I can't seem to get enough grip on it so that it doesn't move horizontally. Is my hoop too heavy or is my grip just too weak?

Oh great to hear! How is your hooping going?
To everyone trying to do isolations, don't give up!! It took me 8 months to finally build the arm strength and the stamina to do isolations and it's made me soo happy!! Good luck!!
And I was using a basic 100psi advanced hoop hahah
same here, it took me ages to do off body moves like these because my arm muscles where in principle non-existant :P
Not sure I want to put in that much effort. I'm happy spinning it.
Thanks for this! ❤ I’ve been hooping for a year and a half, almost daily, but rarely watch videos because 30 seconds in, I’m already overwhelmed. I can’t do any trick!

Hi Deanne, can you recommend a good online source for buying thin light-weight hoops? Thanks!
Nandini Adhyapak I get mine from Super Hooper!
best isolation tute.
Jordan Cooper, you mean it? Because I am very tiny and am finding these soooo hard , everyone makes them sound so easy and that beginners should be able to do them. I feel weird that I am a beginner and still cant get them :/
Oh don't be sad some tricks take time and patience...and a lot of practice!!
Yusssss....argggg...sooo goooood...

I still really struggle with simple one handed isolations! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! xoxo
you are the best!
What kind of hoops are the solid purple ones behind you? :)
Deanne - the hoop you are using - is it weighted at all? I have a hoop that is about 1.5 pounds I believe. Great! Thank you so much!
amazing, thank you
I was wondering what size hoop you are using
Thank you for this video!
You are most welcome!!
my hoops a 38 so its kinda heavier but i don't want to have to switch to a lighter hoop if i don't have to so im hoping u are right and that i can get them down with my hoop i have now :D
as long are you're comfortable with the hoop and can control it you'll fine c:
Yaay Thank you! :)
Would you recommend having a polypro hoop for these?
whip it brush it and stoke it!
***** hey mira so sabia que te podia tagiar!!! cool !!! jjajajja hay que aprendernos estos :)
Possibly, but not essential. I didn't even know what polypro was when I started doing these moves ;)
When I try to do these, the hoop just "follows" my hands down instead of staying in one place. I can't seem to get enough grip on it so that it doesn't move horizontally. Is my hoop too heavy or is my grip just too weak?
The hulaHoop that you use it's heavy or soft?
you know with the pushing isolations it would be nice if you would slowly explain what you are doing because right now it's anything but clear to me
Brilliant
Mine has water in it, it wont let me do any tricks it soooo heavy and hard at a rock
Why cannot I get isolation!? ): I end up just hooping it around my hands versus moving my arm in a circular motion. Frustratiooooon.
Cassie Amyy Did you ever get it? I can't either!
Noooo. But I haven't been hooping that much. I live in Vegas and the summer here as been HOT this year. I'm waiting for it to start cooling again.
This is super hard
Yes it is tricky, don't give up!
when i do my isolations my hoop gets all out of control. :(
try holding it tighter and when you flip your hand over dont do it too slow.
I still cant figure this out :( and it makes me sad :(
we need to see the hands and fingers close up man. to fast lol
