- Hi guys, today I'm bringing you this Simulationcraft and Raidbots guide for the 10.2 patch. I will cover the basics of what simulations are, as well as how to practically use them with the raidbots website. This will include Quick Sim, Top Gear, Droptimiser, Gear Compare and Advanced Simulations!

The only problem with the top gear simming is you only get 300,000 iterations. So I have to run like 6 - 7 different ones back to back to back to try and get all the info I need.
Yeah thats not ideal
Is there a good place to look to see what all abilities AMS works to block debuffs and damage? I know magic damage, but some aoe abilities it's hard to tell if it's gonna be magic or physical 😂 and the debuffs it works to block seem random sometimes.

So when im simming which weapon rune option do I use? Main hand I'm assume?
It depends on your stats but usually Hissing
Does it tell you whether troll or orc racial benefits a long raid pull ?
It does yeah, you can change your race in the simc input and compare!
Any idea if they will be adding augmentation evokes?
Think it's an ongoing issue with attribution to augs
cost money for all sims that is relevant thou..... like most in droptimizer. Any free opensource alternatives?
I feel like droptimizer really doesn’t work very well unless you have a subscription.
Does it limit the options for you?
No recommendation for ask mr robot lol (top tip amr for unholy is daft)
Eventually mastery and haste start offering less value due to the soft capping, so yes depending on what your stats are, versatility could actually be a better stat option for you.
@@RYLIK_89 yeah hopefully you're right but im only 455 ish but do have acc trinket. Deffo diminishing return on mastery after 70% i think. Haste for aoe though? I mean it feels better (except my fingers hurt) to play but again im a tad sus
Simc tells me haste and versa for both aoe and m+ so not convinced
That means u might have too much crit/mast. All stats work off each other
Where do you think guide makers get the stat weights from? Simming. If simming is telling you different weights now it’s because you have too much of the other stat
@@rstocker19 i realise that, it just seems less haste more crit would be better for aoe. Ill run them again after buff on wed
@@jesuschrist2284don't question the sims, it's been used by all the best players for long now and it clearly works better than we can guesstimate it ourselves. If there was an issue, people would have realised it by now
