This is one of the best videos ever. Right up there with Preach's series in legion for the various roles. I just jumped into healing for the first time midway through 8.3 and I'm loving it but until this week was always anxious. I watch your videos over and over to gain insight into the way to think through a dungeon. I appreciate the hard work and love the videos and knowledge you've gained during your time.
8:05 not only can you afford more mistakes, but if your group does 20% more damage, that's 20% less time your tank and healer have to mitigate incoming damage
Good tips overall. One I'd add, more for dps, is practice your rotation on training dummies until you can do your rotation nearly perfect with your eyes closed. The less attention you have to pay to your basic rotation, the easier it is to do mechanics, get interrupts, pull saving CC, etc. The #1 problem I see when I do keys with newer/lower IO players is they spend way too much of their focus just doing dps.
Dude you are helping me a lot with your videos. Please keep em coming. I started a Druid 2 weeks ago and you already got me to speed for Shadowlands. I'm doing low keys with ease and getting the feel for weaving into cat and bear form. Many thanks
2 years later and these tips were still super useful to me as a new healer! I hit 1800 last night and it’s been a blast. Explosives is rough for me this week
Yo, I know this video is old, but thanks to you and a few other people I think I'm finally going to face my fear of screwing up and making people mad and try to get keystone master/raid. Thanks for the guide!
Great tips man this is my first xpac doing mythic+ I started WoW during legion have not done 10’s yet got 8’s and 9’s plan to step it up soon I started on 2’s and moved up slowly on every dungeon
great optimistic video. I really wanted to work into M+ healing BFA. really wanted to, but running with guildies that wanted to go higher than i was yet comfortable, then a series of bad pug experiences, and I collapsed back into my hesitation, then bailed. i realize i need to have much thicker skin and all, but its a challenge. folks can be so harsh, but really, its on me to find ways to suck it up, and work through that.
"do keys even when it's not an upgrade". As someone who went through the WHOLE of BFA only plugging (being a tank class really helped, even if non meta class) this is really important. While Im almost traumatised with the amount of crap I took from random ppl, it's also how, by the end of 8.3, I've met a really fun and good team who had just lost their usual tank and were looking for another one. It wasn't a key upgrade for me (but also not a trivial key for my ability), but I went because I liked the dungeon. It went so smooth that I took the then empty spot. So, yeah, puggers of the world: for every thousand of disaster runs, there's always that good one 😁
Speaking about it from the skill angle, in the beginning I kept running M2-4 dungeons just to learn the dungeons, my abilities, improve keybinds, etc and then I could just jump to M 7-9 (as a healer) with no issues. Doing the low runs wasn't a visible upgrade, but still quite useful. Oh, and I also got into a nice WoW discord group for helping out a returning player on low M+ :)
@@Evija3000 thats why i dont understand why they now release raid finder after the raid itself is open...raid finder was a learning curve it should start at the lowest level the move up the way it is now is stupid ....you get people in groups that dont even know the fights....i learned through raid finder im not some hardcore wow nerd who reads books on fights and studies the sheit....raid finder was my learning tool
Very good video. Very educational. Thank you for taking the time to make this. It sure helped a lot. As a tank player, myself, having to take the second part of BFA off for business reasons, coming back to the game felt a bit overwhelming. It's videos and content like this that I like consuming to catch up to speed and also recommend to the people I start playing with to get them up to speed and see who is serious and who is not.
Would love to see some dungeon guides for SL that not only goes over boss mechanic but looks at noteworthy trash packs and how affixes might interact with them . Cheers for the great content, only found you recently but i actively keep an eye out for your videos.
"Record yourself" is the greatest advice ever You may also add "Record AND watch everything". Not just the biggest pull where you did sick DPS and because of that want to relive the moment. Even routine and somewhat "unremarkable" parts of a run may offer great many insights for improvement once watched back. When you're doing a key and you're in the moment tunnel vision is real thing. It's astonishing how one may straight up not see a really important thing going on right in front of one's nose. Watching recordings certainly helps to not miss it the next time
@Chris Dean exactly, it's a game, it's fun, and improving is fun so why not take this advice for what it is : a way to improve yourself if you want to ? You don't have to but that's a great way to learn from your mistakes. If you feel it becoming a job more than a hobby then take a step back and keep playing the way you like .
@Chris Dean You're basically being annoyed about an instructional video giving people... instructions. Growl's video and my comment were intended for people who seek this kind of information
trying hard to learn tank, just started a week or so into shadowlands for first time in forever. first time actually pushing content with a focused mind i think too. thanks man.
Just discovered this video and your channel and it all makes sense honestly, the acceptance of the bench is something a lot of newer players won’t understand and to a point that’s a good thing, nothing was worse in vanilla/tbc than sitting on the bench as my hunter unable to leave or log off and I just had to sit outside waiting to be called up, no playing alts nothing, the one thing I will never miss about vanilla
What I really like about your videos is how you entangle "hard" facts that are necessary to learn with soft skills like mindsets. A lot of player struggle with these especially and having the right mindset also makes it easier to learn and get better and meet nice people. Although I do think this is easier said from a point of 7k rio where you already "made it", it is still helpful and crucial advice to not lose your mind during the random grind or when you've just spent 2 hours applying and getting declined.
For someone who started WoW not so long ago, your tips are pretty much spot on. I'm gonna recommend your channel to a couple of friends who's planning to start WoW in SL, great job. The 3rd one took me along time since I first started WoW a long time ago to finally do, and it's one of the biggest difference between lower IO runners and the top 1K. Never blame others for wipes, ever. Always start with thinking with what you could've done differently, even if you think nothing you could've done matters. This single mindset change alone brought me up from my usual 'pleb' ratings to one of the higher spot for Druids.
One thing I wish someone would do is make "bullet time" videos of encounters with voice over explaining what is happening. Meaning that sometimes the video would slow down or pause for additional explanation. Some can absorb those fast high level videos but for me, I need the explanation stretched out.
Totally agree, i do keys for fun in pug runs all the time, and sometimes u land that fun as fk run that sticks with ya memory. Those runs can be both smooth runs and failed runs, the important part is having the patience with the nutjobs and being excited to find the fun people :). I can do some of the "hardest" content in the game, but that should not sway away from doing lesser content to meet new people. Coz the game is really not fun playing alone, it's an mmorpg after all and Fun is what its all about when you crunch it down. Also do not judge players for their mistakes, everyone does them and it is how u improve the fastest and push your limits. Everyone has a different learning curve, accept that fact. Approach people with kindness even in times of failure and u will most likely meet someone that just had a bad run/ day, and usually play better. In the pug world, give people the benefit of the doubt .
Excellent content! I subbed just because of the ‘bench’ comments. I’ve never heard that mentioned before and I’ve seen it negatively impact MANY players (even myself) over the years. It shows an empathy towards others that isn’t shown as often as it should. I haven’t done a single Mythic Shadowlands dungeon yet, but that is mainly because I just came back to the game. I’ve just returned to the game after the longest break since WoW started. (I quit literally a few days before BFA launch even though I had pre purchased the expansion). I had alpha and beta access to BFA and I guess all those changes allowed me to see “behind the curtain” if you will. Come to think of it, it’s the longest break I have taken since I started playing MMOs back in May 2000 with EQ. Yeah, yeah I know, OG... “If OG stood for Old Gamer.” 😂
Good stuff. I'm geared to the point that heroic's are no challenge at all and was thinking about trying some Mythics. Gotta work on my gear a little more but your content was right on point for what I needed. Thanks.
Hazelnuttygames makes short and sweet (3-4 mins) mythic dungeon guides and it's been an invaluable tool. Having a general idea of what the mechanics are is..key.
Still no idea how to get past those pesty mobs between bosses. I find rogue hardest class to play becouse keeping eye on combo points and total visio of fight is pretty impossible... Someone Will loose
A great number of us have been playing since 2005 and evolved with the game. It’s a time investment. If you want high io, you have to sacrifice time and money. I love my guild. We have pushed keys and I’ve gotten in good pug groups too. I just don’t have all day to play like when I was 16. Thanks for helping the new guys out.
Love the vid Yumytv! I posted it in my guild's mythic+ guide channel :) I could see also added something like: 1) Don't join a 10+ key if you are not familiar with the dungeons base mechanics (interrupt, spell steal, heal, tank tactics etc.), leading to a second point: 2) every member is equally important, I find when you have one weak link in the team then it almost always fails. That said, aiming again on mechanics mostly. It ruins the run for those who did do the prep work (practise, reading up etc.) if you join and don't have a clue. Well would be curious what your thoughts are on those points. Ace UI btw!
Some great advice that I'll take into SL M+ for sure. Thank you! One of the guys I play with says "equipped" like "equipted" and your "is is" thing reminded me of that lol, gg!
Great info. Love the advice. I am going to say the next part as you are probably ear blind to it. It makes me laugh every time you say 'is is'. There are about 3 of them but 12:04 is the last one I heard.
I began playing on Feb 14th 2021 and i love the game in every way. Last season i hit keymaster with my dps pali but i really dont like dps classes. I want to tank! Thank you for the advice, is been a bit intimidating but i know i can tank. Nice video and thank you again cheers
I'll keep it a buck with you. The most fun I've ever had in this game is running dungeons with a group of close friends, despite the fact my friends are ass. Examples include my boy literally not knowing he had an interrupt as a demon hunter until we were in a +12 key, my old man (may he rest in peace) standing in fire and then screaming into discord about dying, and my brother face pulling packs then panicking and pulling more via tab target. I wouldn't trade those runs for anything, score be damned.
I have been in a couple guilds that all the members are like this and when they try to run raids and mythic+ dungeons they keep it challenging while having a lot of fun and good memories made. Your old man (rest in peace) and my hubby sound just alike. My hubby only plays his warrior, heroic leaps in, whirlwinds, dies. Or he stands in bad stuff, I'm struggling to keep him alive while telling him to move out of the bad spot. It's great. At that point it is pugging to get better gear just to help my guildies and hubby stay alive longer when I play with them. lol They may be "bad" but they are good people and create they best memories.
@@kizz5012 Exactly, that's the best way to play hands down. I love me a scrubby group and especially a scrubby warrior. He ever die in the middle of Bladestorm? That's my absolute favorite.
@@nickmessner700 Yes! For some reason he seems to think that Bladestorm makes him invincible. So funny when he dies in the middle of a Bladestorm and yells "Did you see all the numbers flying?! I was top dps! Can you rez me?" lol I play resto druid spend most of my battle rez on him. lol I also have a friend that is an amazing warrior and I'm off healing the group while he is wondering around killing things on his own saying "I can self heal. No worries." Or he doesn't think the tank is pulling fast enough or not doing a good job and starts pulling mobs on his own and surprisingly he is easier to heal then some tanks. lol Warriors. They are a special breed. You come across any amazing warriors that do this too?
@@kizz5012 Unfortunately I don't have my own crazy warrior friend. My best friend is a frost mage though, and he has a fun habit of sheeping things mid fight. Drives groups absolutely insane, and I get to have my chuckles to. My favorite move is running in and pulling two or three packs, then bubbling and letting everyone die (prot pally ftw).
I'm not gonna make this a whole block of text (I hope). I'll try not at least (I hope). Anyway, almost everything growl said really resonates with me especially on the last section. Concerning "Enjoying your time on the bench". This has been my issue, I'll keep applying to a bunch of mythics and getting constantly rejected. Which just leads to frustration, feeling like I'm never gonna get into higher groups. Honestly, after watching some of your videos and failing at higher keys more often than not. I've realized the problem isn't the people doing the rejecting it's me. I need to not take it personally, and instead improve and get better with my spec. Do more lower keys, learn the dungeons better, and work my way from there. If I don't get into groups whether pugs or guild then just do something else. Because it's okay. Anyway just wanted to say your videos have been helping me lot. Thanks much love.
These are some great tips! I also started at the end of BFA and I'm looking to push and improve in Shadowlands. Keep doing what you're doing, because you're doing it right :)
Get better in M+? I just want TO DO an M+. I request to join groups, I'm either denied right away or I sit there until the group is delisted. I start my own group and I get nada. I've tried on my favorite 3 class/specs: Ret Pally, Frost DK and Destro Lock. And we're talking about M+3 or M+5, not M+15. It seems there's way too much elitism when it comes to mythics and if you don't have your own group you run with regularly or have the perfect class/spec/achievements you're going to get snubbed. I've been playing since TBC and back then I was into every aspect of the game. We raided every week, but we also ran speed clears of heroic dungeons against our own guild. It was super competitive and fun and we always wished Blizz would make a harder mode of dungeons but that didn't come until way after my guild fell apart and everyone moved on with their lives. In MoP when the transmog sets were introduced for Gold clears, I tried so damn hard to get a group to run them with, but it was like pulling teeth. It seemed like all I did when I had time to play was try to get into mythics. Now I've stopped giving a shit, but Blizz seems to be putting more and more effort into making M+ be a parallel path to getting the best gear if you don't want to raid. I'm all for it, but damn these people are bad about judging books by their cover.
I’d really suggest looking for a stable guild and making friends with people to push with. The game is filled with people like you, but it takes some effort to connect with people. Hang in there man.
@@Rob-pb7lm Yeah I've joined quite a few guilds over the years. Most like to act like they're pushing world's first or something. I just want some chill people that don't mind if things go sideways every now and then.

Dude as someone who's been playing since vanilla and regularly runs +15 keys your tips are spot on. Only thing I'd add is: FIND A GOOD GUILD. It makes things a hell of alot easier.
@@Macferny if your experienced than find a serious one. If not find one thats friendly and willing to help you. My guild trys to teach people high keys as much as possible to help them do atleast one 15 a week to gear. We're a small AOTC guild though so it might be different in huge social guilds
Please Growl I BEG you: we need a new bench in Oribos soon! We are all waiting for you to show us the new spot! You definitely should make a youtube video about it. Oribos benches ranked!! That would be epic!
"Slow is steady, and steady is fast" This is my mantra for everything in life. Don't dilly dally, but take your damn time. Absorb what's going on, process your surroundings, talk to eachother. Things will go well.
i've played this game for 14 years with many long breaks and i would like to make a point if u dont mind. It is really importand to stick with a class and master it no matter if u do pve or pvp. you can play and enjoy alts ofcourse, but you should focus on one thing for a very specific reason i found out after many years. while i was doing mythic raid progress as an MM hunter back to legion i found out that after a point i was not looking at my buttons anymore just some glims at glowing procs. the thing is it was not that i did not care about damage as you may think, i became so accurate with any possible combat scenario that i memorized all cooldowns and possible rotations, so all i had to focus was on awareness and mechanics. this was extremely importand for such an imobile spec back then, in order to maximize perfomance and stay alive. Imagine being a healer and trying to look both at cooldowns, healthbars and suroundings. if u are not familiar with the spec/class you are bound to make mistakes and is completely normal because you try to do 3 things at the same time or in fairly short time between them. So a good UI,COMFORTABLE key bindings for Every spell and good knowledge of what you play will transform you as a player. If u struggle with all these dont worry just take your time learn and enjoy.but dont expect this to happen anyime soon if u play monday warrior, tuesday priest etc, if u are on a learning curve.. Please dont misunderstand me i dont try flex here, i just want to say that knowledge experience and practice are the keys in order to enjoy wow at its fullest. I am always happy to see newer players evolve so fast and become great.
On a point of "every point of damage matters"; an easier way to explain it is if you have 20% more damage, you spend 20% less time damaging mobs, which means you have 20% more time doing other stuff. Like running, or giving you 20% more time to finish a key that another group doesn't.
Great list.. You can apply this list to just about every game! Infact, I use this advice when I used to play league. I went from silver to high diamond for it!
Nearly 6k myself so I'll allow myself to add in just one more thing: DO. NOT. GET. ANGRY. This is a bit of a meme in gaming but it's honestly so true for M+. Don't let yourself get tilted. Don't rage. Don't unleash on your party or friends. Bitching and blaming doesn't help. Try your best but stay chilled.
Completely agree. Successful groups learn from mistakes and grow together (try hards who focus on fun). People never progress when they expect perfection; their own toxicity prevents them from achieving the greatness they crave. Building a successful M+ team is a lot like running a business. Being a dictator benefits no one.
Also includes "don't get angry at yourself". I still didn't overcome it completely. When I make a mistake I just get angry at myself and it just leads to more mistakes...
6:50 It's important to think note how much easier certain boss mechanics can become with high DPS, especially on Tyrannical weeks. Tidesage Council in SoTS, Vol'kaal in Atal, and Galvazzt in ToS are really good examples. They become unhealable at a certain point. Also, bosses that have timers on certain abilities. Vol'zith in SoTS has such a long interim phase that it can sometimes determine if you time or not.
To all my healer bois out there, dealing dps might also be your most mana efficient route. The sooner x dies, the less mana you're spending healing. If you're in a non-stressful part of the fight, try dropping a few dps spells in. Eventually, you'll learn when you can and can't drop in a few hits, even when it might seem dangerous.
The weirdest thing to me about your comment was that you know the boss names. Other than a couple I usually just refer to them by a characteristic. Totem boss, last boss, 3rd boss, sharknado guy, ... I do know Rezan (because there were debates about if we were going Rezan first or left pull 1st for lust) but really know very few actual boss names. And it's not because I haven't run many keys - according to my BFA review thing on raider.io I've run 1403 keys this xpac, I just never bothered to learn their names. Then again, I don't remember street names either so maybe I'm just weird.
This video is very helpful. I’m going to start M+ in shadowlands as a tank, hoping to go with my guild. I’ll keep this advice in mind and play around with Paladin builds
Even tho all my friends play wow a'd we re always chillin on discord, most of the time i play solo mythic + like it doesnt really bother to play with new people everytime i think it's so much fun. Good video +1 sub 😁
Hey growl, just wanted to come back to say this video helped a lot. I came back from WOD/legion to SL S3 not knowing what m+ even was. I got KSM in S4 and now KSH and looking to push 3k io for DF S2. Also wanted to say I would be highly interested in tips video for really high keys. Like how to approach above 20 keys mentally. What your process is like for dissecting a 23 when you don't know what's exactly ideal yet. How do you analyze yourself when you don't know the answer yet is it just trial and error? That sort of stuff. Moreso the process of understanding high keys. Anyways thanks for the awesome content as always :D
Great points, especially the one about not always being able to play. It does get frustrating when you just want to PLAY THE GAME, you scroll through the groups and can't find a single one, but the whole idea of making friends to play with is crucial to this game remaining as fun as it is. I feel that recording yourself and watching over videos can be a trap though. It can lead to a lot of overthinking and overanalysing which slows down your improvement. You can easily find yourself spending 1 hour analysing 30 minutes of your gameplay and you can see how this could get out of hand easily. It's more effective to just play a lot, know your action priorities, keep an open mind and be cautious not to get stuck with bad habits.
Bench time is also important time because it can give others an opportunity to grow that they might not have had if you never sat out. Its extremely important to Mythic raiding to cycle more than just 20 players.
One tipp that id like to throw in is play pvp(arena/duels) at times with a friend. Not serious just to learn a bit more about how your class works, how to use some defenses and get better at it. I know the "kick spells" 0.5sec bootcamp with my old raidleader (duels) was probably the best way to really learn when to kick and when not to.
Now this is a good video. Subscribed just based on this, thank you very much. Question... What is your nameplate addon and your party UI frames? Thanks and I'm going to binge a bunch of your videos tomorrow!
Wow, I need to bookmark this one. Awesome video dude. I've been wanting to push into M+ this expansion, having never really messed with it much before. I'll admit though, your video makes me a little nervous about choosing an off-meta class. I was hoping to do a lot of tanking and dps'ing on my druid. I am now feeling like I may need to switch to mostly going resto, at least at first...which is fine, as I love druid healing as well. Maybe I'm being a little paranoid about that though. I don't mind much that there are players who will scoff at bringing a druid to tank or dps, so maybe I'll just put up with the stigma and find a crew that doesn't mind.
As of right now Guardian druids are looking pretty good and theres always a shortage of tanks, so even the off spec tanks usually dont have problems finding groups. Also the meta isnt usually finely tuned in the first season after an expansion. Resto druids looking good too though!
i agree on many points of this video, except the number 2... i mean u can do a dungeon u already did just for fun or to farm a piace of gear but apart from that i always try to do new staff but i only queque for dungeons if i know i can tank it, i would never try a key that i'm not 100% sure i can handle. The thing is that if u don't play dh rn u are not allowed to tank in pug and so if me and a dh has the same rio they will pick him and so his score will go higher and so they will keep taking him... it's very frustrating... Today i spent 2 hors in oribos trying to go into a 17 with 2 17s done and all the 16s... so fun :)
Just came back to WoW after a long absence and Jesus what a mess the game is in. Tanks having to run from trash packs? Getting turned down for runs because of a score on a website even though I'm geared? The insane amount of daily and weekly garbage I have to do just to keep up? And the toxicity has gone off the bloody charts. The game has gone downhill in a major way. I play games to relax and have a good time, not to try and beat a timer and get yelled at constantly. I tank because I want to be the guy going toe to toe with the big ass monster, not so I can run for my life from trash mobs. And for the love of god just because something takes forever doesn't mean its fun. Torghast is torture, I'm in no danger at all but it takes hours to finish.
I think your UA-cam channel is a treasure for healers. Could you provide a healer level up perspective on Shadowlands? Is it possible to solo as a healer?
"hey should I release?"

@@sonnyc3826 I played raid finder recently and many of us did not know and we wiped two times but after that people told us tactics and it went fine
Cheers for the great content, only found you recently but i actively keep an eye out for your videos.
enjoy your time on the bench resonated a lot with me
was pushing myself for no reason at the times

"Record yourself" is the greatest advice ever
You may also add "Record AND watch everything".
Growl's video and my comment were intended for people who seek this kind of information
trying hard to learn tank, just started a week or so into shadowlands for first time in forever. first time actually pushing content with a focused mind i think too. thanks man.
Tanking is easyest Job you do 👍
Learned azeroth expansion on tank and it was so easy after that put raid up on freshly dinged alt.
Love your channel! Thanks for all this great content.
Glad you enjoy it, my pleasure!
I have not done a mythic and at this point I don't plan too but I think this is good advice for dungeons in general. Thanks for the tips!
Dude the subtle birds in the background of your audio is awesome, super pleasant to listen too
For someone who started WoW not so long ago, your tips are pretty much spot on.
This is one of my favorite mplus vids ever. I go back and watch it again often. Thank you for your perspective and advice!
Absolutely damage matters. Bigger damage makes it easier on the tanks and healers.
One thing I wish someone would do is make "bullet time" videos of encounters with voice over explaining what is happening. Meaning that sometimes the video would slow down or pause for additional explanation. Some can absorb those fast high level videos but for me, I need the explanation stretched out.
Same!
Check out one azeroth, I think he is doing a pretty solid job with SL mechanics. It's a tank perspective.
@@Formi427 Will do. Thank you!
It’s a blessing you do timestamps :)
Dear Tanks PLEASE take your healers mana into consideration!
We dont mind being dragged through the mythic, but we gotta drink sometimes! js lol
or take holy pallies :P
I posted it in my guild's mythic+ guide channel :)
I could see also added something like: 1) Don't join a 10+ key if you are not familiar with the dungeons base mechanics (interrupt, spell steal, heal, tank tactics etc.), leading to a second point: 2) every member is equally important, I find when you have one weak link in the team then it almost always fails.
I ran a 16 with you last year and it was insane how much damage you were doing as the healer it hella carried us lmao
corruptions were dope
One of your best videos to date, very relatable and both short term and long term applicable
Great info. Love the advice. I am going to say the next part as you are probably ear blind to it. It makes me laugh every time you say 'is is'. There are about 3 of them but 12:04 is the last one I heard.
Thanks for the yumytvHomework
Because of ur videos I actually started branching out and healing mythic + especially when I normally tank or dps
Last night was my first key (we didn't clear) I learned just how little damage I do 😂 but hey the guild was ok with it being a learning run
I began playing on Feb 14th 2021 and i love the game in every way. Last season i hit keymaster with my dps pali but i really dont like dps classes. I want to tank! Thank you for the advice, is been a bit intimidating but i know i can tank. Nice video and thank you again cheers
Yo very healthy video man! I really appreciate you view about the game! Improving, having fun, learning and not pointing fingers! Thank you!
Proof my mentality is that of a small child. I laughed when you said do do high keys.
Well I guess I'm a teenager...🤣 'willing to experiment'
i dont think he meant "do keys high"
Another great video growl. People look for the cheat code to get ahead and you keep us humble and doing our homework.
This is like one of those self help books but without it being really fucking annoying, nice work! Good ideas
@@nickmessner700 Your mage friend sounds like a lot of fun to play with. That is defiantly a prot pally ftw moment. lol
L
Nothing more true than this
I’d really suggest looking for a stable guild and making friends with people to push with.
Eh, I haven't had an issue. Do you have a good ilvl for the m+ you're running?
@@Wackyorb I shoot for low, 1-4 since I've literally never ran one. I know there's a certain way they're done so I want to learn from the ground up and my ilvl is 450-460 er was. Between the 3 toons I try on mainly.
Dude as someone who's been playing since vanilla and regularly runs +15 keys your tips are spot on. Only thing I'd add is: FIND A GOOD GUILD. It makes things a hell of alot easier.
By that, you mean a serious guild or a friendly one?
@@Macferny if your experienced than find a serious one. If not find one thats friendly and willing to help you. My guild trys to teach people high keys as much as possible to help them do atleast one 15 a week to gear. We're a small AOTC guild though so it might be different in huge social guilds

Thanks Growl, really appreciated these guides.

VERY well done bud!!! Very informative and rational! Thanks for this!! 🤘🤘
Great content. Keep it going man!
i've played this game for 14 years with many long breaks and i would like to make a point if u dont mind.
If only this strategy worked for Enhancement shaman, but no, we have the clunkiest design in any class ever.
Record yourself is so valuable. I put up my dungeon runs on my UA-cam and I see so much more that I can do better even while editing it.
I love the subtle advertisment, atleast you didn't go "gO wAtcH mY CHanNel pLEase!!!" like everyone else.
On a point of "every point of damage matters"; an easier way to explain it is if you have 20% more damage, you spend 20% less time damaging mobs, which means you have 20% more time doing other stuff. Like running, or giving you 20% more time to finish a key that another group doesn't.
"The thing is, is" once you hear it you can't unhear it.
Thanks for the video; very informative
The bench comment is really good. Especially as someone who really only plays with guildies.
I love how nectoric wake came up when u talked about dmg and u showed the hammer spam bug!:))))
Great list.. You can apply this list to just about every game!
Infact, I use this advice when I used to play league. I went from silver to high diamond for it!
Nearly 6k myself so I'll allow myself to add in just one more thing:
DO. NOT. GET.
@@dominikaaeriar - excellent point. That's a domino effect that I have seen and experienced all too often.
9:50 And then there's tankey... he's dead!

Now the run is over.
Subbed :) I was a main resto druid back in the day and I want to start dong raids and M+ in SL , I will keep a keen eye on your channel
This is really helpful and things I learned through gaining experience for sure!
Trying to get better at the game instead of mindlessly doing things. I appreciate your video.
Im coming back after a 6 year break. Thanks for this video.
Pretty good video, very helpful! GJ man, been loving ur vids lately
Very informative and well thought out video.
Love you Growl! Thank you for the content
I love what you're doing. :) The more people getting into serious M+, the better for everyone who likes M+.
Love the videos ioinjection fam! Keep up the great work
Fantastic video! Thank you!
I once asked for a res because i know the run is far and ressing is faster. I got called a lazy jerk by the healer. Funny stuff.
@@shred403 Hey thanks Scott, I appreciate the info. Playing a druid is looking pretty darn fun right now. Feedback like this helps a lot, thanks.
"Is, is" my ears!!!
Every. Single. Time. xD
"The things you do, do"
i agree on many points of this video, except the number 2... i mean u can do a dungeon u already did just for fun or to farm a piace of gear but apart from that i always try to do new staff but i only queque for dungeons if i know i can tank it, i would never try a key that i'm not 100% sure i can handle. The thing is that if u don't play dh rn u are not allowed to tank in pug and so if me and a dh has the same rio they will pick him and so his score will go higher and so they will keep taking him... it's very frustrating... Today i spent 2 hors in oribos trying to go into a 17 with 2 17s done and all the 16s... so fun :)
Nice video dude! Keep them coming :)
I started high m+ because of you so congratz on doing your mission :)
Btw no red arrow on thumbnail please
Torghast is torture, I'm in no danger at all but it takes hours to finish.
yumytv: "hello friends this is grooowwl" whadyamean
Judging from the thumbnail, one of the points is "Roll a female Bloodelf"
You doubted it? Dont you know playing a blood elf (especially female) takes you above average immediatly?
It's all about that mog resolution
This video is really helpful - thankyou.
I think your UA-cam channel is a treasure for healers. Could you provide a healer level up perspective on Shadowlands? Is it possible to solo as a healer?
recording yourself... the thought never even crossed my mind because i played so long with a potato PC. looking for to it.
you speak so much truth for just any game in general.
