Fragile Zoe Lush has a rare condition which means her bones are so delicate they ‘break in the wind’. Zoe broke several bones whilst she was still in the womb, shattered her collarbone during birth and broke another 100 bones before her first birthday. Now Zoe, who is six-years-old, has broken almost every bone in her body and was almost internally decapitated after bones in her neck began to wear away. Zoe lives with her mum Chelsea Lush, dad, Curtis Lush, and three year old brother Felix, in Huntington Beach, California.

i have this disorder too, but on a much milder scale. Even so, i still have severe chronic pain, and have broken around 50 bones (legs, arms, ribs, fingers, even my back). It took 2 years for me to get diagnosed at first. I hope zoe is doing okay, shes so much stronger than she knows. Shes so intelligent and i hope she finds comfort.

Ive never broken a bone - but I have extremely sensitive skin - i can break out, if i have even a smear of chocolate on my face for 2 seconds, I can het a whole amount of acne on my face. Whether it be bones or skin, we all deserve better. Hope youre doing good, and so is Zoe.

Every children is unique different child no matter who they are . The parents are so blessed with these kind of special children's
I am so glad they discovered this disorder whilst Zoe was still in the womb. I’ve heard of cases of parents being accused of abuse and missing the first year of their child’s life because doctors assumed they had beaten their newborn. Despite the parents constantly taking their baby to the doctor from birth and being concerned after birth when their baby was badly bruised (even though they had a family history of this disorder). All it took was one blood test which they immediately got a positive diagnosis from!

It's amazing that with all limitations she has, not to mention the constant pain she must endure, that I didn't see a single time that she have the biggest smile on her beautiful face, amazing. The hard part for me would be remembering not to hug her to hard. What an adorable little girl with really special parents!! Best wishes for all of you always.

This is one of the cutest family i ever saw. Not only the child. For the child i really hope there is a cure soon... something like a gentherapy. It hurts to see, that at this young age , she went through more pain and suffering than most people during their whole life! She deserves the best life! She is an angel... hope she never loses her optimism and her will to live.

I love Zoe! Spite her illness, she is fun, silly, and super nice with her words even though she doesn’t have this big voice, her personality covers that with how big it is! I love it! She is more than just her illness, she is an amazing human, with a big voice to show the world just how cruel it may be but she is one of the survivors of the worlds cruel nature and deceases. She deserves better. I hope that people in the future realize just how cruel the world can be and Zoe is a bright and wonderful survivor, who deserves an award.

My friend has brital bones and always had a broken bone at school.she either had a cast,or very bad as a wheelchair.her conditions made her sit at a different lunch table because her wheelchair was to big for the table and not very body would fit on that one bench,but still people would volunteer to sit at her table.I felt so bad.All of my prayers are sent out to all of the people who have medical conditions
