You might be surprised, but many people who battle chronic illness are extremely resilient. They tend to have a more positive look on life. I have refractory epilepsy, in other words my seizures don't respond well to medications. I ended up with multiple gran-mal seizures every day, and I just learned to deal with it, to smile when I fell down and woke up in a strange place. I lived with teasing and rude remarks. I thank God medical science has come so far. I now have an implant, and I've been seizure free for 3 years. People like Louise don't have that kind of help, that makes it harder to smile. But with a positive outlook, even without "cures", anything can be done.
Agree. I have a genetic battle and this was a kick in the gut that got me to go to the gym yesterday and feel blessed I could be there. Now here I am watching it again.
What a lovely young woman. She’s so determined and tenacious! I have no doubt that no matter what she chooses to do she’ll be a success. Especially with her family, they’re also amazing. I just feel so inspired by all of them! I’m sending love and light to them all!❤
Louise is such an inspiration to us all. She's not let her F.O.P. limit her from pursuing her life-long dream of being a part of the fashion world. I'm a chronic pain patient that has to battle with severe anxiety and depression. I feel so encouraged to live by her standards to never let my disability stop me from doing what I most enjoy in life anymore. The strength it took for her, knowing the pain she'd more than likely suffer from pushing herself brought me to tear's. Thank you for sharing your story with us, Louise. I truly wish you all the best!
What a frightening condition for anyone to have to live with 😢 She seems like such a sweety and she is gorgeous ❤️ I'm so glad she has such a supportive and loving family 🙏
It makes such a difference to have that loving family support. I wish I could get my make up done by Louise she has real talent and style, I hope that future treatment the dr talked about becomes a reality asap and all her career dreams come true.
I'm scared of having children due to my family having sociopaths, autisms, adhd, bipolar and psychopaths. I have adhd and autism and have suffered bullying all my life as I could not speak well to others face to face and I freeze. Typing doesn't seem to affect me so much.
I visited the Mütter Museum (College of Physicians) in Philadelphia with my husband once and was complaining about my feet hurting as we’d been walking a lot that day. We got to the display of a skeleton of someone who died in his 40’s of this disease. I swore then and there never to complain about sore feet again. What pain must they endure. This young woman is just so brave and beautiful.
I am French. This young lady is incredible. So charming ! I do not have the right words in English to express what I felt watching this. She is brave and brings joy. Elegance and intelligence. Bravo !
Louise is a true inspiration. I am going to hush up about my osteoarthritis. Watching her story, seeing her positive attitude, viewing how optimistic she is have all made me realize how lucky my life has been.
I'm speechless. I cried through most of this! the pain she must be in and to be so positive and brave to do the things and gone the places she has gone is just amazing. keep flying high you beautiful human. and such a attractive girl too x
What a fine talented young woman Louise is. She has her own sense of style and takes ideas from what she sees in magazines but also on the street. During the two work placements she presented her ideas well and had them used. The people listened to what she had to say which is important in working at another business or with one's own employees. After her return to Scotland, Louise made a brave choice to start her own fashion and consulting site. As this allows her to work from home, I can see how she deals with her disability and running her business at her own pace as she has good days and bad. And what a wonderful family that supports her. I believe that Louise will be successful because of her talent and her determination, and she truly has fun at it. All the best of luck. A side note: I see that Louise looks a bit like Paris Hilton with her style and in the face.
Its horrific and its also painful. Ive seen it before. Why Dads run away from disabled kids shows how weak n selfish many men are. She is so brave to endure.
This young woman is so beautiful both inside & out. Even with everything she goes through she is determined to live out her life & experience all her dreams. She would make a fabulous stylist.
I just love Louise Mom and Granny! How blessed are they to have her positivity around them. She is so strong in her personality and she is a great inspiration to so many teenagers who do not know what it is to long for a life without problems! You go Louise!
It's amazing that even with what she is going through, she is finding a way to do something she is passionate about. I wish you much success young lady!
I absolutely love the support network that Louise has. No matter what endeavor she wants to pursue, her family is there for her. Brilliant. 🥰❤️ Don’t stop dreaming. You’re so beautiful and smart. The world is your oyster. 👸🏼
She’s GORGEOUS! I’ve been feeling off for 3 weeks now and I kind of feel guilty now because I have a healthy body and I don’t do half the things she does, most of the time I don’t even feel like putting on make up or taking care of myself or even leaving the house she inspired me to just love yourself the way you are and make the most of your life. Use the time you have and enjoy life even if you have some road blocks along the way and be grateful and never take having a healthy body for granted it’s not a given. 👼🏼
Wow she's amazing! I have degenerative bone disease and she makes me look like an Olympic athlete and her attitude is truly inspirational! Makes me feel ashamed for feeling sorry for myself and complaining sometimes! I hope she's doing well! She's so beautiful physically too, she should be in front of the camera not behind the scenes.

What a courageous, inspiring young lady. I have severe M.E and fibromyalgia. So I can relate to the frustration of having to factor in recovery-payback after any activity. She's a lot younger than me. I too was determined at her age. Really great to watch given me a little more fight to get through my days too...

She's determined and is most talented, to follow her passion and ambition. Hope there is a cure for her and others like her really soon. That would be a game changer in the disease. Can't wait to see her future, fast forward 5 years. What an amazing family, truly wonderful how they all help and cope with her disease. Louise, you shine positivity, elegance, and tenacity. I went to grade school with a girl who has this rare disease. I still talk to her from time to time. What a horrible disease. But let me tell you she has confidence like no other and is so positive about life! What a wonderful woman this girl is.
Louise is very beautiful. She could certainly be a magazine or online model for hair, make-up, clothes and jewelry . Her can do attitude is exceptional. She will do whatever it takes. I wish her all the best. Lovely family! I take exception with the foolish notion, to liken her to a mannequin. Mannequins do not move. She is very much a mover and a shaker. Anything but a mannequin. Precious girl ❤️ Precious young lady ❤️ Louise reminds me of my niece in so many ways, not least because she's a blue-eyed blonde, and carries herself with dignity, composure, and great style. As I've watched this film, I've prayed that God would bless Louise and her family, and help them, and carry them through their challenges. He loves them❤️🇭🇲
It looks painful. I would be so scared about jaw locking that they described. She has an amazing attitude. I too deal with a rare swallowing disorder and disease. She is going to achieve so much in life! She has such a great work ethic. :) Her make up and fashion is super good too definitely in the right industry and good for her not dwelling on it and going out there. To never complain when being in so much pain is wow. I always seem to complain when I've been in pain with my condition. I am so glad I came across this video and hope she is doing okay
I have a condition that puberty brought to the fore. Kinda opposite to this, my body doesn't make collagen proteins normally. Issues include easy and frequent joint dislocation and subluxation, wounds reopen, widen or just do not heal well, scar permanently very easily, blood vessels and internal organs are weaker, rupture too easily...And it's progressive too. When genes go wrong... ❤💔❤
Hi Tiff, I can’t explain how happy I am for you. Right before sleep time, my 6 year old and I say prayers and we’ve prayed for this day for the longest time. ❤ Sending love from New Zealand.
I hope she will be able to fulfill all her wishes and accomplish her dreams. She is such a beauty. She is an epitome of determination. I truly admire her passion and her strong determination.
I remember watching a documentary about this years ago and it was quite upsetting to watch this girl is truly amazing she’s beautiful aswell so determined to keep going
I remember a similar documentary about a little girl named Luciana, who also has this disease. Some of the people in that documentary are no longer with us. Very sad 😔
Louise is Soooo Pretty!!!! She reminds me of Paris Hilton really. She is full of life and very positive. Very bright aura on her gave ❤❤❤She is a very beautiful woman with a pure soul. Love you Louise from the Philippines ❤❤❤ You inspired me tremendously ❤
I absolutely love the supportive mom and especially the grandma. It would be so easy for her mother to baby her and keep her figuratively wrapped in bubblewrap. I'm sure letting her go to London with just her sister wasn't easy, but that's a memory that she will always treasure, regardless of how bad her condition may get 8n the furure. The grandma is so wonderful. You can hear the genuine pride and delight in her voice that *her* granddaughter will be wearing *her* jewelry and carrying *her* purse while exploring her dreams. You can't overlook the fashion designer in London and ELLE Magazine for giving her the opportunities. No idea how things would have gone without all those cameras following her, but it's heartwarming that they made a place for her where she was able to make a tangible contribution.
She is amazing, passionate and has a strong spirit! Her positivity and focus is truly fantastic. She is also lucky to have such a loving and supportive family and they are lucky to have her as well. 💖 Wishing her a joyful life and hope the researchers do come up with a solution soon. 🙏
I cannot find a contemporary follow-up on what has become of her. It's like all the social media and internet presence stopped after 2014. Anybody know anything about her?
I think if there’s anyone who can help her into the fashion industry should do it . She’s got great taste, who knows what she’ll bring ? I think it’s the right thing to do give her the chance
She is beautiful and sweet her Mom and sister are so special and her Grandma is a wonderful person who loves them all a lot, even if she does worry.I will pray for the genetic research.
What a beautiful, strong and positive ladies! Hope the science find a cure for this condition soon and Louise get what she wants in her career and be happy forever. ❣️
So sorry Darling that you are going through this. I am in similar situation and it sucks. But I am old and one day hopefully you will also be that, and in a wonderfully happy life. Thank you for sharing this you are giving so much information to a lot of women, who have it but are lost. Major hugs sorry , I know we are strangers, but if I could I would hug you. Blessings.
@@junc2191 Tbh, I don't know, nor do my drs lol. but it is possible and a few of the others I know have also done it. It can be very painful, but I live every day as if its the last, which is a possibility for anyone in life. Also I think that there is a diversity in the way it affects different people. like most other diseases.
What a beautiful family and Louise’s positivity is inspiring. I can’t imagine how she deals with the pain and stays so positive. Good luck on your business!
This young woman is truly amazing...just beautiful!!! Her attitude is incredible... so inspiring!!! Hopefully there will be medical advancements soon and she will be able to continue to pursue her dreams.
"why are you crying, because I don't" would make anyone cry, it made me all teary eyed 😭 emotionally strong, definition of a person with the ability to endure, I had heard through my health interests, that vitamin K2 helps bring calcium to the bones, it's something I take for being in menopause and needing extra calcium, to reduce the risks of heart issues. Wishing everyone the best guidance in their health journeys ❤
This woman has 2 of the most beautiful daughters I've ever seen they are just breathtaking-i don't know what's more beautiful than these two young women they are simply amazing---the way Louise just looks at her sister there are no words to describe the love she has for her.........
It’s awful as I imagine you can’t do surgery since injuries cause the bone to grow, & surgery ultimately does injure the body as it is invasive. To remove the bone spur in her leg, for example, would require opening her up & cutting it out, but that would cause the muscle to react to the surgery & turn to bone post surgery, ultimately replacing the spur with likely far far worse bone formation.
You are such an inspiration to me I have lived with severe scoliosis my entire life. You make me feel like I can do anything. Thank you for sharing your story. I wish you the best from the USA Philadelphia Pennsylvania ty love may all your wishes come true
This condition can't be that rare, I've met a few people with this condition and even on UA-cam I believe there's a few people with it. The oldest person I knew who had this was actually in her 50s, so I don't know if she had a different form or what but her entire body was literally solid. She couldn't move any parts of her body but she always had a smile on her face. When was this recorded? They stated only 700 known cases, when in fact there are 900 known cases. With an estimated 4000 individuals worldwide affected. I honestly this young lady will be going places, she has the drive, the personality, and the will to try anything she puts her mind too and not a lot of us can say that these days.
She has a natural eye for fashion. She can direct someone else to do the work from her vision. Someone give her a chance

Precious young lady ❤️
Louise reminds me of my niece in so many ways, not least because she's a blue-eyed blonde, and carries herself with dignity, composure, and great style.
❤💔❤
This is so sad, she's so beautiful. I'm glad to see she's still pushing for some normalcy in her life
Courageous and inspiring, a truly beautiful young woman.Good luck, I hope all of your dreams come true.
She’s so beautiful outside and inside
I remember watching a documentary about this years ago and it was quite upsetting to watch this girl is truly amazing she’s beautiful aswell so determined to keep going
She is the most beautiful person i have ever seen till now , her smile on another level
She is so beautiful. She is so optimistic. God bless her.
Unbelievable beautiful young lady 😊so positive,a big life lesson for all of us
I remember a similar documentary about a little girl named Luciana, who also has this disease. Some of the people in that documentary are no longer with us. Very sad 😔
*The whole family got beautiful faces including her grandma!* 😍
Louise is Soooo Pretty!!!! She reminds me of Paris Hilton really. She is full of life and very positive. Very bright aura on her gave ❤❤❤She is a very beautiful woman with a pure soul. Love you Louise from the Philippines ❤❤❤ You inspired me tremendously ❤
This was in 2012. I can't find much updated stuff on her.
Wow three generations and they are all so pretty and alike.
Omg she has the perfect face though. Her face is top model quality. Beautiful!
What a beautiful, strong and positive ladies! Hope the science find a cure for this condition soon and Louise get what she wants in her career and be happy forever. ❣️
She’s so beautiful. It hurt me when I saw her walk😢 She’s truly an inspiration ❤❤
What a amazing young lady.
Blessings.
Dear How did you survive till old age? In the video it says the life expectancy is 41 years old
@@junc2191 Tbh, I don't know, nor do my drs lol. but it is possible and a few of the others I know have also done it. It can be very painful, but I live every day as if its the last, which is a possibility for anyone in life. Also I think that there is a diversity in the way it affects different people. like most other diseases.
@@sandrakennedy4877 thank you for your reply
So adorable, positive and energetic. Love this!
Such a brave, strong woman with a beautiful soul.💫🌟✨

What a beautiful family and Louise’s positivity is inspiring. I can’t imagine how she deals with the pain and stays so positive. Good luck on your business!
She’s absolutely beautiful inside and out! She has a warrior spirit! So strong!
She is so beautiful in a different way that is magical!
What a brave girl and so inspirational!
Love her granny too ❤ I think she got her confidence from her 😊
This young woman is truly amazing...just beautiful!!!
Gosh, that gran! She reminds me of my gran when I was a child x
This woman has 2 of the most beautiful daughters I've ever seen they are just breathtaking-i don't know what's more beautiful than these two young women they are simply amazing---the way Louise just looks at her sister there are no words to describe the love she has for her.........
She's beautiful wow, I hope she achieves all her dreams.
Hey Louise, you're absolutely stunning inside and out. Glad you show the world how to do it!
What a beautiful young lady, inside and out
She's more beautiful than those models. What a stunning woman.
You are such an inspiration to me I have lived with severe scoliosis my entire life. You make me feel like I can do anything. Thank you for sharing your story. I wish you the best from the USA Philadelphia Pennsylvania ty love may all your wishes come true
Same as me, i have a very severe scoliosis , i found her very inspiring ❤
Just amazing. I've got nothing else. She is beyond words. ❤️
She is só beautiful!! A real inspiration. ❤️❤️❤️
Louise is so beautiful! She could also be a model herself
