35 Terrifying Monsters From Cabin In The Woods - Backstories Explored

- If you haven’t watched the 2011 horror/mystery ‘The Cabin in the Woods’, put your Netflix watchlist on the back burner for an hour and thirty minutes and watch it right now. Directed by Drew Goddard and written by Goddard along with Joss Whedon, ‘the Cabin in the Woods’ is almost like a crossover of every horror movie ever, playing on stereotypical horror tropes and highlighting it with more stereotypes and typical horror creatures.
The cast boasts Kristen Connolly as Dana, Chris Hemsworth as Curt, Anna Hutchison as Jules, Jesse Williams as Holden, and Fran Kranz as Marty. They are a classic horror movie teen troupe who go to a cabin in the woods for some fun. However, every action here is being orchestrated by an organization, as part of a Ritual that prevents giants from destroying humanity. In the end, the protagonists find the truth behind their misfortunes, as the movie ends on a grim note with the Ancient Ones taking over,
The movie is heavily influenced by ‘The Evil Dead’ which can be seen time and again with the premise and many of its creatures. Apart from that, the movie draws heavy influences from plenty of other sources of fantasy and horror. They can mostly be spotted during the famous bloodbath scene of the ‘System Purge’ where every monster is unleashed.
In this video, we will break down the movie, show you what stereotypes have been characterized, how everything has been orchestrated and some of the most iconic creatures shown in the movie.

I wouldn’t mind a TV series just showing us how these guys dealing with other situations from the past. Maybe in some episodes have a completely different crew from different parts of the world, it could be fun.
👍
Fleshed out back stories. And how the creatures are captured would be great for a TV series
@@ADG.Est.1988 Honestly I’m down for that right now take my money
Thats how I feel about 13 Ghosts, would love a series explaining the lives, deaths, and captures of those Ghosts.
You mean Tv series about SCP foundation
What I love about this movie is that literally every horror movie ever made can be considered canon in this universe
My thing is don’t they have to pay the creators or the owners of the rights of the character? For them to be able to use them in the movies? Cause they’ll get sued? Or are they just up for grabs and anyone can use them whenever for any film?
@@rizot0ny1996 why should they?
Either the monsters were based around just regular fears like clowns, spiders, snakes, killer robots or they were knock-off versions only referencing the originals while still changing stuff around like Fornicus
no possesed doll, like chucky... no frankenstein... no Freddy kruegger... no exorcist... I can go on an on 😀
Like *_Little shop of horrors_*
@rizot0ny1996 the monsters are all distinct enough to be considered different and not infringing on any other properties, but similar enough to common tropes to be recognized. That's the whole point. I bet if it was possible to use Xenomorphs and Pinhead, they still might have gone with their own versions because we as fans of horror monsters love seeing new unique takes on our favorite genre. I personally loved all the designs, and I imagine the art department had a f*cking blast making all those costumes and monsters.
To me the scariest aspect of Fornicus is just how human he looks, and the look he has in his face. He honestly looks like someone you would ask for help in such a horrifying situation, and he almost looks like someone who would help you if he could, because he carries the energy of a reasonable authority figure. But at the same time his cold expression radiates the sort of energy that says "Even if I wished to help you, I am bound by orders that prevent me from doing so. I have no more say in this matter than you do."
“The sphere. You opened it. I came. ”
Actually, that expressionless demeanor is exactly what causes a false sense of security; and that naiveté will get you killed.
@@IBmaster4 I know. That's why he's so scary. Possibly scarier than some of the more monstrous looking things that you automatically know are gonna kill you without a second thought.
When i was in college, my english professor did an end of the semester film review. This was the movie we got to do. The whole class was about horror tropes. It was one of the best classes I've ever taken.
The system purge scenes are generally how I imagine containment breaches in the SCP foundation go
This! This has been imagined in my head so many times. I've always thought 🤔💭 "imagine if those creatures somehow got out. 😳 It'd be like that scene from Cabin in the Woods."
@@joziequervoyo and the funny thing is that cabin and SCP ARE essentially the same thing, because the foundation would 100% do this. Yet the people who made cabin in NO way meant to essentially mirror them exactly
@@beaujackson8253 agreed, if there was no alternative for containment, they would. The betting though would be disciplinary though.
@@joziequervoyo Yeah but 100,000 time's more worse than the Cabin in the woods situation.
This is what they should focus on. An SCP movie. Not a part 2 to Cabin in the Woods.
There’s actually a couple licensed monsters in the cells. Namely a Witch, a Boomer, and a Tank from Left 4 Dead. There was a planed L4D DLC as well where you’d fight through the woods and facility, that was scrapped due to budget issues.
i see the boomer 30:52
Alma from FEAR also made a cameo.
also after purge when two characters run away from giant bat at background a girl following crawling wounded guard is reference from FEAR game.
@@TheT3MK4 See, I just figured that to be an Onryō, as Alma did look heavily inspired by them. Although, as one was banished at the start of the movie, maybe it was her.
Wow. had no idea, saw this film before i get to know the L4D franchise. Thanks for info
I will always love this movie for its realistic portrayal of unicorns! Finally someone remembers they’re horrifying killers.
Unicorn means one horn. It doesn't mean horse with a horn. 😂😂😂 a real portrayals is a rhino not some media bullshit, brainwashed rainbow horse.
I do love that the unicorns were stabby instead of innocent. I got excited lol
Don’t forget that little melody that plays as it’s digging through that guys abdomen, really completes the scene.
Lol
They're not all sparkles and rainbows as some people make them out to be
The fact that it's Sigourney Weaver as the Director is pretty freaking cool.
No director, only zuul
@jrwizz happy Pride Month!
I wanna see a tv show about their efforts to contain these monsters over the years because it sure as hell was not easy. Sort of like an scp situation

Also is there more roaming around free in the world
@@damien1781 lol romaine
I read a theory online that the monsters are controlled by God (us the audience), and that whatever it takes to entertain "God" (us) these monsters do. The secret SCP type organization is just there to make the monsters jobs easier.
So essentially, the monsters are controlled by us, and since we like seeing stupid teenagers get ripped to shreds, that's exactly what these monsters will do.
@@Mojacaine roaming * duh
One of the one's they didn't mention is actually Alma Wade, from the F.E.A.R. franchise. She can actually be seen in the Purge scene slowly stalking a guard while singing a lulliby to him in the backround. She's actually labelled as Alma Wade in the credits too.
fear was a great game.
dopee
So the movie makes references to horror games too. Neat. The doctors did remind me of the Dr. Grossman from Bioshock in the medical pavilion.
Holy fuck I'll have to check that out! Thanks for that! Maybe this movie isn't so bad
@@maroku2008 Its actually really fun and entertaining, less scary
I’m glad they haven’t remade it, done a sequel or prequel. It’s great on its own.
I agree! Some films are best left as a stand alone movie without a sequel. This is one of them. It told the whole story, with an ending that can go nowhere else. There's nothing wrong with that.
There could be prequels about the monsters.
Id love to see a prequel...
A sequel is impossible because the world ended but a prequel is possible
I STRONGLY disagree!!! I feel like the explanation of how they contained them or wielded them over the years. An anime abt how the world was when ruled by 'the old ones' would be SUPER dope. I would even dare a sequel, where the old ones wreak havoc on the current tech world, turns out celebs are the 'keepers' like how Sigourney was the director, idk but there's a bit to work with there! I can see it never being looked at again aside from rewatch, tho, which is PERFECTLY fine bc it IS such a good stand-alone movie!! I think the best movies make you WANT more off their world!!
I appreciate your channel so much… I don't have the stomach to watch gory horror movies but I'm so obsessed with all this incredible talent in creating monsters so this is lovely
This show deserves a netflix series I don't care if it's prequel, sequel or reboot.
More than likely a reboot
Netflix is not suitable for these kind of products
Netflix is notorious for taking good things and wrecking them. I would not want Netflix to produce this. Show it maybe, but produce it, never.
I give you Black Mirror as one example. The last season was awful and was all Netflix's fault.
Now if that is just the American Netflix producers then fine, fire all of them and hire the ones that produced shows like the Kingdom or After Life, actual good shows.
Amazon prime should make this into a TV show.
I think it would be amazing, big budget & big director.
Great movie never the less 🇬🇧🇺🇦🏴❤
@wesopradahim nope just search this very network and you'll see many videos saying the same thing.
Seasons one and two were great, but Netflix got their grubby hands on season 3 and... where is season 4 again? The last one is one is what clinched it for some. Where they tried to tie all the story lines into one long theam, that was just terrible.
I really want a tv show where we get to explore short horror episodes for each monster. It's such a good oppertunity.
History of horror might be close enough. They talk about the history of certain horror monsters
I think a show ow movie saga with the VHS movies style might be more fitting for the monsters in this movie
Left for dead 😅
That would be amazing
Hmmm a total of 35 episodes for the 35 monsters shown in the movie? Sounds interesting. But maybe I’d skip past the zombies, too many of them
I’m surprised you didn’t mention that Joss Whedon created Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Drew Goddard also worked on that show when talking about vampires. A lot of the monsters in this movie are inspired from the monsters in that show as well like the giant snake.
You mentioned Lovecraft! Thank you!
When this movie first came out there were internet lists of the horror movie references, but NO ONE drew the ancients/lovecraft connection. Thank you!
Especially since the lore is the Old Ones got tired of simple human sacrifices so they started making monsters that humans imagined to create a different sort of sacrifice ritual that eventually lead to giving them all to the Facility to make the “horror movie” rituals
The Evil Dead tree didn't devour it's victim--it RAPED it's victim. That's why this movie had 'The Angry Molesting Tree'.
why did this fact make it a little scarier ? 😮💨
They always mess up the details I've noticed
The angy one in this film ate them though didn’t it?
I'm so glad that the tree doesn't have the same raping properties in the table top board game as it does in the movie... Family game night would be horrific.

The ancient ones are, in my opinion, Chuthulian only from the viewpoints of the characters of the film. The are a reference to the audience. Our horror movies were once fairly simple, but got more complicated. We expect certain events to occur. Horror is subjective to culture, so each country requires different rituals.
The ancient ones are also an allegory for the audience of horror movies. They demand a specific ritual to be performed and when that ritual doesn't go according to their demands, they begin a worldwide rampage.
Yea this guy seems like he knows what he's talking about but he is making fairly wild speculations.
Constantly demanding a twist they haven't seen before, but being upset if it is too far from what they are familiar with.
Though a sequel might be impossible, i actually wanna see them use the other monsters or from other facilities like in japan and germany. They could make like a story but with different victims and monsters
all they would have to do is make a prequel to it and it would probably be pretty good
I think they could easily make movies about the other facilities. sure we know they all fail but I would still watch them to see how they puppeteered the actions of the people & how they also failed.
I love to see the kappa make an appearance
A missed opportunity was to have filmed 3 different films, each one starting out the same, but the main difference would have been to have each one choose a different item to activate a different monster scenario/event, complete with how they were murdered, etc. It could have been 3 different movies, or one long 3+ hour movie. Either way, this is a very well done movie.
Thats genius
What a great idea.
I say all the time how disappointing Cabin in the Woods is to me. It's a perfect idea, but could have been played out so much better.
There's always prequels. Maybe the last one could explain how the cabin ended up belonging to the guy's cousin and the setup for the original movie. I'm sure they didn't do it originally because they had no idea if such an off-the-wall movie would even work and there is nothing worse than trying to set up a film series and have it crash and burn.
They could always do prequels or even a sequel with the way it ended
I frikking LOVED this movie, the monsters and the plot are *cheffkiss* perfection for an old horror movies fan.
So no one’s gonna talk about how the author of this video is gonna throw “Tooth-Child”, an entity that’s based on a character who lives in candle grove from the Channel Zero series from Chiller TV into the thumbnail of this video and say he’s one of the monsters from the movie Cabin in the Woods? Cmon man have you no shame?!!!
On the "Samara" ghost being used by the Japanese branch of the facility: in Japanese mythology, there's a thing called an onryo, which is literally a "grudge spirit." A ghost driven by its anger and the grudge it's holding onto even in death. There are also the more generic yuurei, which is just a broader catch-all encompassing many varieties of ghosts; basically, an onryo is a yuurei, but not all yuurei are onryo. In both cases, their appearance is the same as this ghost. Clothed all in white with long, disheveled black hair, pale and shown to be floating, as they have no legs. While the reference to Ringu is definitely there, but it's all part of a much broader monster concept.
plus japanese horror is based on curses, sudden hauntings, and demons so it's easier to deal with them than western horror.
@@hectorsumaoang2320 That's definitely true. Once you can find the source of the curse or the spirit's grudge, then the proper rituals (usually with the help of a Buddhist monk, or Shinto priest, depending on the situation), you can usually appease the spirit or break the curse.
Sometimes it doesn't work, and the grudge just passes onto the next person dumb enough to walk into it, but usually, it's just as easy as the school girls the Japanese facility made the mistake of thinking easy pickings made it.
What sounds a bit weird to me is that they all look the same, according to your description. Ghosts are supposed to be "born" from the souls of people who died, both western and Japanese mythology aren't that different there. This implies that all onryos are the spirits of preteen girls, but couldn't let's say a middle-aged man become one as well when he's holding enough onto his grudge before his death?
@@vermillion6159 It's more that all depictions of yuurei are based on a person clad in traditional burial garb (white kimono tied right-over-left, triangle-shaped headdress), and usually with long, disheveled hair and sunken eyes. It's the same whether male or female, though a majority the stories I've ever seen of an onryo tend to be of female spirits. The teenage/preteen onryo seems largely a construct of popular culture (Ringu, Ju-On, Corpse Party), but the general markers are the same.
Male onryo are a thing, in fact there are three known as the Nihon San Dai Onryo (Japan's three great onryo), whose grudges were so potent they brought about plagues, earthquakes, and drought. They're called onryo, but at that point they're so absurdly powerful they're also considered Tatarigami (curse gods), a designation which also includes things like the Yamata-no-Orochi. This might be why there are so few depictions of male onryo. They're in a class by themselves, going to incredibly destructive ends that their female counterparts don't reach.
The ring is based upon the Japanese movie “Ringu”. It even has the famous tv scene. (I watched both years ago, and the ring is essentially a larger budget, English version of Ringu.

This has a prequel for every year of human existence. This would be a great series. Every episode being a different year
I'd love to see their take on a post-apocalyptic, lovecraftian horror, with some new characters trying to survive with these colossal titans roaming the world, terrorizing the remains of humanity.
I love this kind of serious-satire, where it isn't so much a Space Balls or Scary Movie type deal.
Furget The GODs.
The Smaller Horrors that we See at The United States Base + The Few We See in Japan and Elsewhere would Literally Oblit Most of Humanity while ALLs The Gods would do is Destroy what is Left before Eventually(Either Accidentally or Purposely) Creating New Mini-Me Beings(New Earth Gods/Early Humans?). An now That I'm Thinking about it..... How many Bases does each Country have? 1? They could always do Cabin in the Woods in a different country since the lore seems to indicate there's one in every country.
Nah it could go by a different name but follow the same premise, cause remember Kyotos attempt was taking place in a school building so it safe to say any place could be a sacrifice ground.
@@nullvoid7188 True, but I think what leafy was saying is that there could have been another containment building in a different country at the same time, so it could be a similar setup, but for a different set of Ancient Ones. This way, they could use different actors, as well as different creatures; however, I'd throw in a twist, like having the ritual succeed, keeping this group of Ancient Ones appeased and unwilling to go after the ones that get released, or something like that...

Someone should create a tv series spin off out of this movie. A story about the corporation and how they capture these creatures every episode. This will be like a mashup of supernatural and ghost busters. This will be a killer series no pun intended.
I appreciate that when talking about the unicorn, you used clips of the unicorn from DC's Legends of Tomorrow. I didn't think you would, but you did. I like that.
Imagine if the filmmakers did a solo film on each individual Urban Legend Monster in the film, in Prequel films that are all lead-ups to The Cabin in the Woods film.

This isn't Disney/Marvel we don't need more of that everyone gets an origin movie B.S. I do like the idea of movies ser before this that shows other groups (although we would know how they end, but then again most horror movies end that way anyway), or a sequel about the rise of the Ancient Ones.

This really was a love letter to Horror, One of the best of the 21st century and ever!
The inspiration behind the ancient ones was actually the horror movie audiences as a whole. The entire movie is a satirical redefining of the horror genre. The rituals performed were satire of how every year, some country's film industry (japan and USA are most well known) needed to make some kind of teen vacation slasher blockbuster film in order for horror audiences to be "appeased" and have something to obsess over each year.
Japan's horror movie industry is significantly larger than the U.S's. Most horror movies in the U.S come out near Halloween while Japan's releasing them year round. There was a website that had a huge list of Japanese horror movies that came out over the last 10 years that made it to the theaters (not straight to video) and it was like 400+ movies (and the author said he was missing a ton). I think the creator of this video gets one thing wrong; Samara 2. Ignoring the fact that the girl's name was Sadako (not Samara), there's another similar scary & iconic J-horror movie with a girl that's very similar: The Grudge (or Ju-on in Japanese). In Ringu, you had to watch a tape. In Juon, all you had to do was step foot in the property and you were toast. I believe the creators combined those two for their Kyoto ritual monster. Fun Fact: Ringu and Juon actually combined their two horror monsters as well, in the movie "Sadako vs Kayako". At the end they merge together like a Fusion from DBZ. The movie was campy but fun. Main character watches the Ringu tape and will die in 7 days so in order to save her, a psychic makes her walk into the grudge house, putting the two at odds with each other. Hi-jinks ensues and they fuse at the end.
I just got through cabin in the woods and I was just flabbergasted about the creatures. Thanks for the info on them.

Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon have said that the film is a love letter to the horror cinema genre and criticizes the every growing need to add more gore and violence to placate the fans. Nope, it is a valid reason as horror movie fans want more thrills and and newer creative ideas of violence and scare. Things get old and boring, they want new things that will excite them.
Just wanted to add an observation... the "Doctors" trope killer I also believe could have also been inspired by The movie House on Haunted Hill... whereby the evil spirit of a doctor had trapped the souls of all his patients and staff within the former insane asylum and lures the offspring of those he has trapped and tortured to going inside the "house" in order to trap them within the walls.

Exactly! Kenneth Brannagh did the first Thor movie, Taika Waititi did the third (and best) Thor movie and the second one was done by what's-his-name who worked on Game of Thrones. Joss Whedon never directed a Thor movie, nor will he ever, if there's any justice...
Yeah..Brannagh cast Hemsworth.
One of my fav horror flicks
"NIGHTMARE IN THE ELM STREET" LOL
I was wondering if I heard that right.
The unicorn was hilarious
A prequel would be better.
21:49 Graveyard Shift
23:23 Fun fact: "Unicorn" is the Latin word for a one-horned rhinoceros.
28:19 Deadly Friend
29:08 Notice those Kooky Klown Kultists (aka "grand LARPers") in the lower-left corner.
33:07 Possibly inspired by the Kingpin from the beta version of the original Half-Life.
Unicorn simply means one horn, and nothing else, wtf
@@tonyyerbajo6710 Literally, yes, but that was the term they used for rhinos.
I thought the myth of unicorns came from Rhinos, not the name? Because rhinos totally look like horses… ._.
Jokes aside, rhinos are real life unicorns.
@@HiBuddyyyyyy To a horse wrangler at that time, when most people didn't travel all that far from their home, it would be natural to associate any four-legged animal with a horse.
@@judsongaiden9878 good point.
The Death Robot segment reminded me of a movie called "How to Make a Monster". These video game devs make this gnarly robot that ends up acting out the game by stalking and killing everybody. Scared the hell outta me as a kid! There's an old timey movie by the same name, but I've never seen it. Could be the one I know is an homage.
I've heard of a couple movies from the 80s with a death robot very similar to the one in CITW, but I haven't been able to track them down.
The movie Virus was the first thing I thought of.
I would sah its a reference to "chopping mall", "mark 13/hardware" and "death machine".
All classic B-movies.
The original "How to Make a Monster" was about a make-up artist for a horror studio finds out that the studio is bought out by some other people and they are firing him after his final movie, which is teenage frankenstein meets teenage werewolf. He exacts revenge by killing the new bosses by creating a "mind-control" make-up that he uses on the actors who are playing the monsters. I'm also surprised they didn't do enough research to actually find out that there is a horror series called Jack Frost about a killer snowman.
@@Dragonchamp5 well now I've gotta see it haha that sounds interesting
19:53 i thought it was adorable how you combinded the angry tree from Poltergeist and the apple throwing trees from Wizard of Oz giving us "The angry apple throwing tree" 😆🤣
Thor came out a year before Cabin in the woods, saying "Joss Whedon chose him for Thor in Avengers after this movie" is like saying "Jean-Pierre Jeunet chose Sigourney Weaver to play Ellen Ripley in Alien Ressurection"...
“ Cabin in the woods “ is a lot of fun ... great crossover between sub genres. Great creatures! Loved the dark humor.
Anybody watch Legends of Tomorrow? There was a scene when Constantine sent an evil unicorn to hell. Pretty vicious that thing was. The ending of the scene was funny tho. The unicorn 🦄 quickly exited the portal to stab or bite a guy then it got sucked up. The guy was complaining about his nipple. Poor fella.
Need to get back into that, I’ve not seen it in ages. I always wondered about the unicorn in this movie as unicorns are always seen as good and on the side of light. I didn’t know thee was an evil unicorn in Legends tho.
Lmao Gary got his nipple taken
@@pakese30 I've not seen many ppl that watch Legends. It's a pity bcuz it's a decent show. You're right. Unicorns are always depicted as good. I was so intrigued to see an evil, nipple biting unicorn 😂
@@OfficialSaucegod 🤣 darn evil, nipple biting unicorns! What's even funnier is your profile pic matches Gary's face when this all happened. 🤣
Great movie. May the algorithm accept this offering.
I'll quote Smokey-" See, the weed be letting you know where evil lurks."
I'm so disappointed no director out there wants to work on a sequel... Or even more, Cabin in the Woods got so much potential it can be a whole franchise or TV series.
Tbh it's hard to make a sequel to the literal ending of the world by the ancient ones... and I think the director of CITW said he doesn't want to retcon the current ending
@DaemonSharkSpiritOfFire sequels could be other locations that failed. Then the ending of the original end remains intact
One of the best movies ever made.
1: Killer robot would more likely be inspired by movies like Screamers.
2: A prequel would be interesting, to see how this facility came to be. How the creatures are able to be contained until released. How they get put back, etc...
They need a Tales From the Crypt style show where they show a different episode with each creature and story line
I was not expecting a scene by scene description of everything happens in the movie.
I'm not much of a horror fan but I loved this movie. Despite being tropes it felt fresh and different and I'd love to see another film from this universe.
It wasn’t just tropes but they were actually commenting on and making fun of common horror tropes.
I wanna see a prequel. It could be about how the facility gained all these monsters & needed to find another person to sacrifice before the ancient ones destroy the world.
Got this one on dvd and I love it cabin in the woods is a brilliant film
"There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." Genesis 6:4 KJV
This was specifically about the Nephilim which is what the Flood was for.
Amen
Lol the bible oh god
@@damien1781 its a good read.

I thought you said Kevin from Spin City (the 90s sitcom) and I was both confused and delighted.
Can I just say my greatest disappointment in this film is we never get to see Kevin. I want to know what he is.
5:55 his name is on the board
My grandma accidentally rented and then let me watch the rated R version of Jack Frost when i was really little. She put it on and left the room, only to walk back in to see a snowman decapitate a kid with me completely traumatized. I was terrified of snowmen for YEARS.
I kinda imagine this movie is the same universe with Dead By Daylight. And the Entity was the Ancient ones.
I have a feeling that the giant snake might have been inspired by a boss from Resident evil 1 called Yawn as both have a very similar design but it could be a coincidence.
Harry Potter
I'm sure people mentioned it, but in case it wasn't and you hadn't caught it, the viewers are the ancient ones. We're increasingly demanding of our horror films.
I don't think so
@mrtimo3822 what? That the ancient ones are commentary on horror fans in general? They're not literally that in the universe, but if you look at it for the satirical film it is, then it 100% fits the meta commentary take about the horror genre.
This is, no cap, one of my favourite films of all time. I adore cabin in the woods.
I'm currently listening to a book on audible called the haunted forest tour which is like Cabin in the woods meets Jurassic park. definitely worth a look, would make a great movie.
What's the name of the book
@@davidschofield7351 Its called The haunted forest tour by James A. Moore and Jeff Strand. the title makes it sound like a kids book but it is very violent and gruesome at times.
Just wanted to come by and say thank you for the recommendation. I’m really enjoying the book
@@Eski116 you are welcome glad you're enjoying it.
the Blob could kill all these other monsters. I want a hard R rated, well done re-make of that. got so many ideas for a great Blob movie!
Sub zero could stop him🌝
Maybe? 🤔!!, but each monsters is an Related & an avatars of The Titans a.k.a The Ancients One Deities. So why The Blod would be any threat to the other Monsters?? I'm not trying to correct your opinion, I'd also thought about that too. About which monster or why the other monsters didn't attack one another!? Until I find out each monsters there is just a small apportion of an vessel, aspect are avatars from each Ancients One self ,personality and of their Will etc.
I enjoyed the old blob remake from years ago
What i love about the monsters in this filmis that they leave so much to the imagination without anything more being desired.
Jack from The Shining was not a monster, he was a regular man who was corrupted by the hotel (the real antagonist), who was using him to get to Danny :)
A Prequel would make more sense than a sequel. A prequel in which is shown how this organization made their deal of sacrifices with the ancient ones would be great.
I think it'd be neat to see a TV show on how that facility started. Then show how they identified each monster and captured it. After that, you could then show some previous instances in the past they had to deal with. For example, they brought up failing before so show how they failed. You could even show some successes as well since they said the Buckners had a 100% pass rate, or show other countries passing.
See if other countries take part then are there more then one ancient one demanding specific things. Or how many countries need to pass and fail for the world to end?
