david rigert pressed 198 kg at 90 kg, blagoy blagoev snatched 202.5 at 90, sohrab moradi c&j'd 242 at 94, snatched 205 at 94. Some other crazy lifts. Also there's a strongman who strict pressed 190 kg at 89 kg bodyweight. on a log
Yury Zakharevich also clean and jerked 250 at 110, snatched 210 as well. He supposedly jerked 300 kg off of the rack (possibly behind neck). David Rigert also supposedly snatched 200, jerked 260 off of the rack, and power cleaned 220. He said he had gained weight to around 100 kg at the time though.
He actually teaches Evgeny Chigishev's technique in snatch and not his own. He had a lot of problems and injuries with his quads and hamstrings so he had to snatch with just his back. This is why his back is almost parallel to the floor when the bar is at his knees and that's why he did so much romanian snatch deadlifts. One of his most impressive lifts and of which he himself is proud (apart from 180 press and 225 push press) is the 310 kg romanian hoogrip deficit snatch grip deadlift, unfortunately there is no video.
Recently been trying pause snatches in my own training to get stronger in these positions. They have been really paying off in a technique type of sense. I'm way more consistent with weights that used to be 'scary'.

I like to rest the bar just above the knee and accelerate it with thighs (partial "squat") - it prevents you to thrust the hips towards the bar, but let it "come to you" and you can lift ~as much as full snatch. This (what Klokov does) is another step in the progression
Understood, going to give that 160kg press a go tomorrow (my current max is 60)
Klokov's max is 180 kg. So don't go for an easy 160 rep. Save that for retirement :)
Just when I thought I’ve reached him 😔
You can do this
@@LuigiDiPaolo-vw4xs nothing 4 weeks of 5x5 couldn't fix.
@@rrrGeist and some ~10mg lgd-3033 every ~3rd day (with heavy session) and mk-677
Klokov push pressing 496 LBS is the craziest lift ive ever seen in my life
Check out serge Redding pressing 502
Undoubtedly one of the most impressive lifts of all time

Another thing to be learned from Klokov is we can all use a little more blyat in our training
Maybe the real bylats at the blyats we made along the way
@sikastrength holy frick he's right
The only thing I've learned from him is to put the bar on my back with a snatch grip and start overhead pressing
Thanks, Fitz! Paused 200 kg snatch incoming 👍
You got this!

Babe get in here quick, they're giving away primobolan
Time to go on that dbol
I knew it
Man, maybe I am Klokov.
1:51 deficit Romanian snatch?! 😂 never seen that before, unreal
What qualifies as a romanian snatch?
Where are the presses? I want that Klokov’s shoulders strength
We can try to be like klokov but we're never going to come close to pisarenko
he was ~20kg heavier than Klokov so there's that too
lasha is heavier than pisarenko, they still have almost the same C and J competition numbers.
pisarenko supposedly clean and jerked 270 in training and almost got a 280 clean
@@joemama226 yes that's what i'm saying
@joker-zw2xl just trying to add on to what you're saying
Maybe I already am like Klokov
How to focus on voice over when brah shows deficit snatch footage
I can be Klokov? Да, хорошо!!!
Once per year is ok
No I'm Spartacus! No, Klokov! I'm Klokov!
Does knee position and shin angle alao apply to the regular deadlifts?
No almost opposite, you don't want that same angle
But can i be lu😢
"Maybe you can be Klokov" - Greatest click bait and goddamn it I feel for it
What is the name of that song? “Lalalalala”
Jazz Samba Breeze by Tatana
@@MitchieFergyou are actually so goated for knowing that. I have been wondering for years about the song playing in his 225 push press
Do not give me hope
No way lol
ofc I just need to gain 20kg of pure muscle and strength and craziness
