The guys argument is just stupid. Well we just bought it without removing the previous owners belongings or even bothered to clean it out knowing that there is a chance that the previous owner had drugs in the vehicle.

Kyle Gardner well let's see, I work at a jail and a fair amount of inmates that come in on drug charges are repeat offenders. Honestly the threat of going to jail or prison, a lot of the times, is worse than actually going. He could have charged them both for an I.P.P.L. (illegal possession of prohibited liquor) and possession of a controlled substance but he gave the guy a chance to let his girlfriend go free. Either way the officer could have gone it would have been right.
