Infidelity is way more common than the already high statistics suggest, I know people like to feed themselves delusion by pretending it's not but the amount of times I've seen both married men and women go on sneaky links is just ridiculous. To be brutally honest whether you know it or not a person is more likely to have been cheated on in a relationship whether they know it or not than vice versa.
I read a AMA reddit from a SW where she said 80% of her clients were married or in a relationship. She knew because they would complain about their wife/girlfriend or sometimes the wife/girlfriend would call her to confront her.
Cheating on someone, especially when having two amazing children, is really beyond my comprehension.
Years ago my mom found out that my dad was cheating on her even though they were separated without making it official in court since the death of my brother so many years ago, difference that for years he deceived her that they would go back to being a family, she was devastated but after they got divorced (even though they never got married) officially in court she followed her life and is much better now, since she got a job that pays well, runs with her friends, lost weight, takes care of her mental health and so on.
