hey so i had the same problem as you did so i experimented a bit and i found that in order to fix this problem you can see where you flow has the desired form and turn the whole metalball into an object(right click ->select children and the right click again -> current state to object) . If you do that you can render it whithout issue but you wont be able to use the whole emitter animation.
@@hamsterfish9915 yea actually I found a better solution. In the emitter you have the two first settings birth and render . By increasing the render you solve this issue

Hi, I had this problem however if you uncheck "render instance" in the emitter it made it work for me.
