great video buddy. Please More R19 "no plugin" Tutes. Maybe just raise the volume of a your voice a couple of db :) :) :) I'm coming from R16 so eager to learn my way around R19, and I like your viD. Will see what else you got too.
Hey Jason, thanks for the feedback! I actually haven't done any tutorials that you need any plugins for! I only have the factory version of Cinema 4D r19 Studio. But from the research that i've done for water, it seems that you need Realflow plug-in to be able to fill containers with water. You can set rigid bodies and colliders to make the sphere themselves fill the object. But unfortunately as soon as you add the metaballs object the objects fall through the collider! I could always be wrong but for my knowledge thats what i've found! If you have any more question feel free to ask!
Also, there is an option to create ripples on a water object using an emitter and some "raindrops" and such! If you'd like me to show you i'd be more than glad to make a video for it! Just let me know!
nice. I saw some of your other videos they a great too. Good subjects. Im rendering now I've added dynamics and some wind, was a little confusing the dynamics part. But its become a heavy render (at least for experimental pursposes. (3 or 4 hours i think). Are there any other new methods for liquids / Particles that are much better than R16 and that may interest those of us who do NOT own X-particles but dearly wish we could lol. Cant wait to watch all you vids and see what else you!
The only other way i can think on is using a plane object and creating some displacement and animation to create a "ocean/body of water effect". But as for flowing water, to my knowledge there is none that i know of! Sorry! Thanks for the Sub, ill be putting out lots of content in the future!
Hey Jason! So I've been doing a little searching and trial and error and i found a way to "fill" a tank with the metaballs. When you create your tank, you have to go into your dynamics tag and set the shape to "static mesh". Then when you press play it may show the metaballs falling through your tank but if you render it shows that they actually were stopped by the collider. Hope this helps! if you need any help im here to help!
Ah nice. I was using Modynamics instead of static mesh. ill give that a try. Baking the dynamics helps it look more similar in the viewport as in the render. The learning never ends lol.
Not really sure but it's studio.am just updating c4d will see if thee prime content libraries work then i get back to you. But thanks alot bruv. Hey bruv, I updated and it show's the prime folder..Thanks alot for the tuts.
Great job
Nick your tutorials are lucid.
No ambiguities.
Straightforward and go right into both the brains.
LOL
Very helpful! Cheers mate
Thank you so much!

nice tutorial bro
If you want it to hit a floor and splash or fill a tank or something, can you use the old simulation tags? Dynamics?

Hello! I'm a begginer at cinema 4D and I can't find the "Metaball" feature anywhere!
What version on cinema 4D do you have ?
Thx!! I lov it
Hey bruv, how come I do not see my prime folder in presets?
Cal Grey Do you happen to know what version (studio, lite, etc.) of Cinema 4D you have?
