The only things that were condiments were the soybean paste that he said was bitter and the sliced daikon pickles that I would have wrapped my meat in. It looks like they didn’t give him any lettuce, cabbage or perilla leaves so that he could eat his kbbq in the ssam format.
The cinematography is actually SO beautiful it's unreal. The shot of those pancakes and the Korean food---GODDAMN

Hey Nate!! I’m korean and I just wanted to say that those side dishes and rice should be eaten together with the meat in order to have a burst of flavors!! You should def try it that way next time
