I think the elephant dad is the old captain, he hasn’t been involved with trying to save the children but they do show him every once in a while like in hologram this episode. I also think maybe when the supervisor was talking it was pre recorded for when the ship arrives. It would be weird for the supervisor to just play along. Interested in what happens next week. Edit: He is also the only parent who doesn’t show up at the end of the episode so I’m thinking there must be something up with him. It’s like they make sure to show him off in the hologram this episode so that we have him in our minds for the next episode when they do the big reveal. That’s my wild theory.
Someone did a video where they got a fair quality picture of the holographic captain: it looked like a Weequay, making some suggest it was a pirate named Hondo.
I'd argue that this penultimate episode had a lot riding on it considering there was still a lot of ground to cover in the story for the finale to not feel rushed. Definitely the best episode so far, I love what they're doing with Jod in particular. It also proved literally almost every point I made when shutting down the ridiculous theories I've seen a lot of people going with, so that's a nice bonus. It was at least a half dozen things, all based on uh paying attention to what information the show presented to us.
Hey, nothing wrong with theorizing! At the end of the day, as long as we can enjoy what’s there to enjoy, all good - so glad you’re loving the show!! I am too :)
@@AccessBlockbusters Nothing wrong with theorizing at all, what I'm getting at is rampant speculation that has no evidence. Remember back when the show came out a bunch of people were like this planet is secretly funding the First Order or part of Palpatine's plan? That's the kind of speculation I'm talking about. I had no problem "theorizing" almost everything correctly because I paid attention to the story rather than came up with a fantastic scenario. Basically it's looking at the hard facts vs wish fulfillment, more or less deductive reasoning. There's a lot of fans out there that uh don't use it.
Totally hear you. To me there’s nothing wrong with that up until the point when they’re proven right or wrong. At that point, all of us should put away our theories anyways in my eyes and just see what the movie or show is showing us. But I hear you!
@@AccessBlockbusters Hey I haven't rubbed it in anybody's face or anything, I'm not that petty. As this episode went on, it was vindicating watching the things that I called earlier in the season be proven, not gonna lie. I don't know if you would classify it as funny or sad, but there are a lot of people who were adamant about their predictions to the point of creating elaborate reasons for why and arguing it fiercely. Some of it was kinda like are we watching the same show here? I don't see anything to support that. You get the picture.
What did you guys think of Episode 7? Spoiler discussion coming in next week’s ABP - stay tuned!
Jod needs to be ended after this episode. He doesn’t deserve redemption.
He’s showing his true greed… we’ll see!
I had tears in my eyes in a few spots - okay, more than a few.
Me too! It’s incredible what good characters can do
The supervisor is Mace Windu, calling it now.
Oh wow that’d be interesting for sure!

Really interesting theory! I hadn’t thought of this but it’d certainly be a surprise - we’ll see!

It’d be super interesting if it was Hondo!
I bet the the supervisor is that pirate that first made it to at atin
I was thinking the same thing. I’m also convinced the parents are more than they seem.
That’d 100 percent be my guess too!
Seems likely! But I wonder.. who’s playing him?

Glad they didn't sidetrack by doing a flashback episode to Jod's past.
