This is my love letter to Frontier Development to accompany this video.
Please don't abandon this sim and let it die. I know we can be harsh with our criticism sometimes. But it's only because we love what you've provided us. And we are unbelievably invested in the future of Elite Dangerous as it matures. You have lightning in a bottle. The technology may not have advanced far enough to allow you to pop the cork on your full vision for ED, but as technology invariably progresses, we just want you to keep releasing a little bit at a time. Keep surprising us. WE LOVE THIS SIM!

Sorry to tell you, but they already did. It had so much potential, but it was ruined by, you guessed it, investors.
It's already, not decaying, but definately in stall mode. Only main storyline is active.
this message should be sent directly to the Frontier office, because they think that in general all players are happy with what updates are coming out in the game
I watch everything labeled Elite Dangerous that comes across my feed .. this is the first thing I've saved to my personal playlist in over six months. Excellent work!

Funnily enough what definitely convinced me of buying it wasn't any kind of trailer - it was just a video of I think Distant Worlds Mass jump 😄 That was just something awesome!

ED IS best Space game to date , I know it has its share of problems but it is still amazing!

Randomly watching community-made Elite Dangerous content, edits etc., for inspiration and practical ideas as I consider making some of my own... and I stumble across THIS... which 100% captures how this game sparks my imagination, inspires awe, and gets the adrenaline pumping at its best moments. Well done, CMDR.

Awesome work!!! I would add some on-foot combat action as well. Elite is truly amazing game
I was kinda putting it together as I went and it fitted with the music, and some of it did unexpectedly well even bigger portions of the trailer so there ended up actually not being any space left for anything else, so I at least putted the on foot odyssey trailer at the end altho not exactly shooting as that didnt already fit there much :D

Amazing job well put together from ground to space scenes were amazing and really showed close up action like in a Michael bay film LOVE IT!
Extremely well-edited. Excellent choice in music. All it's missing is just the slightest hint of the Thargoids, and it'd be perfect.
I actually liked that there was the SRV scene with the barnacles starting to glow And then... Cut. But Ye maybe it could use more 😄

Around my birthday, I got ED (XBOX) on sale and it was the best decision I've ever made, but it's sad to see they Xbox player base so small and empty. Aside that, that was a good remake of the ED Trailer, good job and keep it up!
Amazing trailer! Love the game so much, it`s my go-to whenever I want to immerse myself in VR. The exploration never ends unless you want it to, combat is fun and engaging and all the choices you can make are limitless! Love it!

That was soooo good! Gave me chills! I had sooo much fun with ED back in the day, and you’re making me want to break out the HOTAS and VR headset again.
If you've stopped cuz of becoming burnt out, I'd definitely recommend giving it a go some time, you might just find yourself loving it again 😁

Excellent job. As an alternate ending i would have a Thargoid Cyclops pop in and destroy something as the two humans are fighting heading towards it. They would then full stop their throttles and look at each other, and then commence to fighting the new alien together since, you know, theyre only human.
That guy fighting off pursuers at the station, defo flies fa-off.

@CMDR HEliaxx - with your great video and commentary you express exactly my feelings about this game. Despite some criticism, which is absolutely normal, Elite Dangerous deserves a real sequel. I've been playing Elite since 1993 and the secret of the game is the overwhelming vastness of our universe with all the hidden wonders that we pilots want to explore. Let's hope that David Braben and his crew are ready to delight us even more with Elite. Of course as a flight simulator and of course in VR
or soft-reboot, khehehe

I agree they should definitely market it to broader audience way more tho, I mean it just seems invisible to a mainstream audience which is imo quite a shame.
FANTASTIC. I wish they would run this as an actual ad (and pay you). I think this would really start to make Starfield look limited (because it is). Elite is an amazing game and needs a much stronger marketing push. Elite is something truly special and deserves more support and to go on for decades. A great community and a galaxy that has truly unlimited chances for exploration and imagination. Thanks for this amazing video CMDR!
o7! Oh yea, I wondered myself quite a few times already what Elite could become if it had huge marketing budget like SC or backed by some triple A studio. Well, we can only Dream I guess 😄 I'd definitely deserve it!

Love your work buddy and awesome choice of music to go with it. The only thing I thought missing was showing one of the asteroid bases but maybe there is no trailer footage of one, possibly record your own footage of one and mix it in but you make ED look so good in just 3 minutes maybe the devs should take some notes! GG's

I clicked on it and as it was playing i thought "why the hell is FRONTIER advertising this game now" maybe to do with something coming in update 16 i thought, They have spent alot of money on this just for the music, so well put together, this is Feckin Awesome, wait there is no way this if from Frontier. ED started as a great space sim, and then one day FDev stopped improving the space sim part and devoted 100% effort to everything else, like space legs.

I noticed the srv in hanger, its really cool when docked at planet station exit to srv, it happens you can reduce in hanger after driving around base
