lol. Well, personally I'd say up to like 500 hours it's still pretty much a early game/you will still be learning new stuff pretty often, probably slows down a bit around the 1K mark, but of course Elite is a sandbox so there's always gonna be stuff to do.

Arx inflation and prebuild ships were proper dogshit tho :D But yea, even tho Id prefer they'd stick to their imo before absolutely perfect monetisation practices of purely cosmetics, it's still an absolutely awesome game and I think great time to be playing now after what all those updates brought us :)

I don't understand the hate behind "pre-release" ships. Especially when the ships will eventually arrive (and are mid) anyway. It's like a shitcoin, only ones actually spending a dime are those who have too much money lying around anyway and won't feel the pinch. Pre-built ships were a goof up tho. Particularly the AX one, you can argue that it gets your foot in the door with scout killing but unengineered ships can do that with a couple AXMCs anyway. and AX prebuilt implies that it comes kitted for the full fat AX combat gauntlet. You will die more times than Dr. Strange before realizing that grindineering a ship for AX is loads better anyway. Weird move on FDev's part there, screwing over the guy who paid you to skip the grind. FDev somehow fked up p2w monetization. Just how many studios in history have managed that?

It's not pay to win non pre built ship pay to win... Alot ppl don't have time to play hours so they want some quick to help in event and it's not ruined any one game play

@@ricobrzenska14 I'm sorry but this I simply see as slippery slope. Yes, the current pre-built ships are garbage I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, but I think that's more caused by FDEV incompetence more than anything else. I simply don't support any microtransactions affecting actual gameplay of one in a game that's not otherwise f2p. And I loved Elite a lot for that it had 0 of this predatory type of microtransactions.

Yea, to really prove that Hulltanks can still be valid in duels I didn't want to include any randoms in the vid but some actually really good PVPers 😄 that being said some have really improved since making of this, Ragnascot is now not nearly as easy win as shown here, last time we fought we killed each other 😄

Well, depends. It can be pretty complex but only takes a little practice. Of course ideally you do want to take ship with some more internals, this thing is not exactly gankproof :D

Yea, sure :D Ofc there is a good reason why noone really flies Asp Scout. It really does suck at pretty much all actual gameplay loops when compared to alternatives. It's actually a lot of shame tho that ppl don't even give it a try imo. Of course at first I just bought it for the meme, but I actually love it's flight model lol, it's actually probably my favourite across the whole game for hooning. Im a total beginner in that so it's low speed is actually a benefit for me lol, and it's other flight characteristics are actually awesome, it's super maneuverable :D

Well, personally I do love PVP and getting better at it, but I dislike ganking so there's that. I prefer PVP with no shitty drama around it.

@cmdrHeliaxx aye, a proper fight is all good. 3 heavily armed ships vs a cargo rig, less fun! That's the great thing about the game, choice. By PvP pressure I meant you were doing a cargo run and not just PVP.

@@CMDR_CWolfxUK oh yea, ganking sucks and is negative thing for the game as a whole imo, is annoying even as a pirate, when there's a lot of it going on it will force ppl to go to solo if they want to get anything done decently fast.

@@cmdrHeliaxxexactly especially for non-trading things. i got ganked even in a dbx while returning to the bubble from exploration lol. sco fixed a lot of this, and it's a proof of the still nice state of the game, it has a really nice player count on steam charts for a 10yo niche mmo. people are still playing the old republic how this game can be dead 😂

Idk, now I do lot of PVP, that's something you can do basically for as long as you want if it's fun for you. Otherwise I just keep building new ships, unlocking stuff, making events, going on Exploration trips... theres always sth to do.

lol, like 2/3 of it is just my autistic ass having the launcher... well, launched all the time. But I got almost 4K hours in game now as well, I guess it just comes together, I've been playing for like 4 years now as well and Elite's my most played game by far.
