The iPad is the tenth generation. It has only been two weeks since I bought it, but when I go to sleep and wake up, the charge decreases! Or if I do not use it for long hours, it decreases for no reason even though there are no programs running in the background
I lost 54 percent percentage without even using it. I left it there for like 10+ hours without using it. I went to school anyway and lost 30 percent after using it for 4 hours. Not bad for a 4 year old iPad😂😂😂
@@Fix.369 Yes. I am extremely happy that it did not happen again. The iPad also deleted the battery usage history including the last 7 days. I have no idea why but the most important thing is that it is already fine
I have a battery drain all of a sudden it says home & lock screen 100% yesterday. Today it says files 50%. I turn off a lot of things and it still drains. 😮😢
Works great. Thank you so much. The new Apple iOS has so many processes in the background that it just uses of the battery. Thank you for making me aware of this five stars.
Set the brightness level a lot lower, yours is at 100%.. This is the biggest drain for the battery. Also, besides that the power saving function doesn’t extend your battery life that much, keep in mind that when turned on, the cpu and gpu will run at a lower speed. This impacts many tasks like video editing. Also if you set it on low power mode, the refresh rate goes down to 60Hz. Worthless imho.
My Battery 🪫 on My IPad keeps going down when I have not used it in so long like after I charge my iPad it’s full battery but when I pick it up the battery is on like 12 or 10 percent
I am as well experiencing this after a touchscreen replacement. My battery lasts for days especially if not in use. I am really wondering why after the replacement the battery will drop even I didn't use the Ipad, even from 100%, it will drop down to empty. :(
Thanks for your suggestions, which I have just implemented. I have placed my iPad Air 5 under close observation to see how the battery performs after the new settings.
tomasggaming.1148 Bro, If you are using an older iPad, with time and use, it’s battery could deteriorate, and that could be the reason behind iPad not holding charge, You might need to repair it.☺️
@@Fix.369 I can't figure out why my ipad drains.... I've turned off location services, I've turned off background app refresh, tap to wake. My ipad is the wifi one. It just keeps on draining.... it was ok for about a day when I reset for system update. but started draining again.
@@Ausar_The_Vile I finally figured out what's draining my ipad after months of trying different tips. My ipad cover has a spot for the pencil. If I leave the pencil there, it drains the ipad. I have put the pencil away.

I have a battery drain all of a sudden it says home & lock screen 100% yesterday. Today it says files 50%. I turn off a lot of things and it still drains. 😮😢
ScarletRed Bro, If nothing is working and happen all the time, it can be a hardware issue. you need to repair it.😊
actually low power mode is bad for your iPad unless if your really in need of charge I dont know how to explain but I heard it from an expert

duntineseholman4164 Bro, If you are using the iPad for a long time, the battery could be degraded and not holding the charge. It can cause the issue.😊

Higher refresh rates use more battery

Jayden Jones Bro, Try restarting your iPad, sometimes it can be some software glitch. It should fix the issue.😊

Does this fix ipad gens
You’re awesome
Thanks
I have done all of these and more, while charging it and it’s still draining while I’m charging it…
i think its because of RAM..
you can basically clear RAM by holding the power button then when you see the power to slide option, press and hold the home button
your screen should go blank and then come back which means RAM is cleared
@@djguestplayz3438 ah ok
You should go to a iphone and iPad repair place and have them replace your battery
