I have absolutely no idea how to fix anything but your videos are so entertaining and theres something satisfying about seeing these things repaired instead of chucked in the bin! I'm glad the allorhythm showed me your channel!
@@StezStixFix Hey steve iv started watching alot of your repair videos and iv loved your stuff, iv actually been wanting to do try my hand at learning to solder and repair and was wondering if you had any recommendations on some starter tools i should look at let me know if you get the chance please thank you for the content.
Greetings Steve! I'm a novice hobbyist and found your channel about a week ago. I've watched quite a few of your videos and find them amazingly helpful, entertaining and educational. Thank you for putting these "REAL" repair videos up for us noobs to learn from. You're doing an amazing job, keep up the great work, sir!
It's actually unreal how entertaining you make repair videos. I've watched a lot of repair channels as i started diving into this, and i must say, your channel very quickly has easily become my #1 favorite. Between the production quality, to the meticulous work, clean setup, and most of all, the humor! Is unparalleled!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
I only recently discovered your channel, but I've seen all your videos already. You have huge progress. Not only am I having a great time, but the dry humor and even drier singing. Absolutely breathtaking..or earstaking?..You are absolutely great mate!!! I can't wait for the next video. You are the best🙈☺️👌🏻👍🏻😂
Your channel was recently in my recommended and it peaked my interests.. now you've got me wishing I ordered a soldering station all those years ago and every single time I've needed one since!! So many little electronics I have that are faulty in some way and you've shown me just how easy it can be (some skill still required)
Watching here from one of the colonies (Canada). Love your videos. So relaxing just to watch. I've watched others and yours are the most professional, calm, funny. The camera work is awesome, steady and in focus. I watch I learn. I yearn for those tools. Thank you.
I enjoy the Self-deprecating humor, the persistence to confront the unknown, the patience to problem solve all the while making educated guesses that point to a logical change. Good entertainment at its finest.
My favourite video so far voice over Steve had me in stiches. I've learned a lot watching your videos One of few channels I click the bell on. Nice one mate.
Hello there Steve, cheers from Brazil. I''ve stumble on your channel a few days ago and i am hooked, can't stop watching. keep it up :) PS: don't forget to be nicer with voice over Steve, he is a hard working man...
I rarely comment on videos, but after binge watching this fantastic channel, I fired up my old soldering iron and fixed my son's Nintendo pro controller with a drift issue. I know this video is not related to controllers, but watching this is where it clicked for me. Keep doing what you're doing mate 👍
I’ve been going through and watching all your old content, and it auto played your new video! Love your content, you make me want to start repairing games and consoles!
:( Probabaly just joined a little too late after this video was being recorded. Was hoping to be included in this song. Lol, no proglem though, I'm just glad to be supporting an awesome channel. You're great, Steve.
I've just found your channel yesterday and already seen a couple of vids. Its really satisfying to see you work. Your humor with the nice and songs in between makes this really fun to watch. Keep it up!
Holy hell, I subscribed maybe a month or so ago and you were at like 10k subs and 2 patreons. I'm really happy you're getting algorithm love. Maybe it was that one video where you actually asked for people to like and sub LOL. I'll admit, it took me watching four or five before I subbed because I always forget. Anyway great job! You and I have a similar sense of humor so I love watching your videos. Keep it up bud
Ah, thanks Matthieu! Really appreciate the gift! Sorry it's no longer in stock (someone told me it was discontinued!) but I'll let you know if I see it pop up anywhere else. There also might be a good alternative out there somewhere... 👍
Steve, I've been watching your catalogue of old videos, and you've improved so much in the past year. Your content keeps improving with every video. Love watching and hope your channel blows up!
No one inspires me more than you do. Your manner and willingness to admit when you are unsure what to do say "You too can try this" better than anything anyone else does. Thank you.
Today thanks to your videos I tried repairing a keyboard of mine with a few non-functionning keys… turns out there was a short-circuit on the microchip due to two pins being bound together. I realized I need better equipment after I fried it. Heh… maybe using nothing but a soldering iron wasn't all that clever. :D Keep up the good work!
I randomly stumbled upon your Channel and love it! Especially your fixing Videos of Gameboy Games. I Hope you keep on doing These and maybe some Job Lots of Other Nintendo console Games (NES, SNES, N64) as Well? :)
I've been binging your videos for the past few days. They're so enjoyable to watch and I feel like I've learned a ton about soldering and electrical engineering (kinda).
Thanks Chris! Yeah, bit of a risk, but I've wanted one for ages and the OLED model in particular. Very happy with it in the end (although I still want to replace that charging port!) 👍
Steve, I’m really Enjoying your videos and your sense of humour! This looks like a great hobby have you got any suggestions for a beginner of something like this?
When it blinks like that, it means the battery is undercharged from probably months, maybe years, of just sitting and it has to be caught up to the minimum safe usage levels.
Bro mine just blinks for literally hours and turns on and stops charging. Then after whatever it's charged up is used, it just dies and restarts the problem all over
Yay more videos I showed the video of you repairing the yellow switch that I sent you that my that my granddaughter had put in the dog water bowl she very much enjoyed it I also showed her little clips of fubar which was the switch that I sent you that was so destroyed we had a great time watching it she really liked it
Great repair! These are getting rarer all the time because of how little the Vita was supported for. Makes for a great emulation handheld once jailbroken! Some say its even better than a New 3DS when it comes to emulation
loving the videos. The humor is nice as well. You ever had a palm pilot? I had a Palm V in middle school and miss the short hand language... also would like to see the inside. I might have to dig around the attic for that one.
Hi Steve, I'm new to your channel and have to say I'm loving it. Really great & cathartic too watch. Really looking forward to new content. Regards Ian 👍🏻
So many screw on one of those things. XD I love the Vita, it's a shame it was so underutilized (or mis... utilized?) I could go on about it, but I'll spare you. I wonder if it's possible to mod out that proprietary port with a USB-C or something. Your Patreon subs are just blowing up, huh? That's awesome!
Thanks Sixty! Yeah, totally under and mis utilised! Cracking little console! Definitely gonna try and USB C mod it, the proprietary port is awful on these things 👍

Thanks Jonathan! 👍
