- Join us for a walk in Exeter, Devon, UK. Our walk starts by Exeter Cathedral in Exeter City Centre. We walk up Exeter High Street to John Lewis and Next, then through Princesshay shopping centre and down to Cathedral Close, then along Cathedral Yard, finishing our walk by the The Ivy Exeter with views of Exeter Cathedral.
Exeter is a cathedral city and the county town of Devon, South West England. Exeter is situated on the River Exe, approximately 36 miles northeast of Plymouth and 65 miles southwest of Bristol.
Exeter is the county town of Devon and home to the headquarters of Devon County Council. The historical city of Exeter is famous for its beautiful 900-year-old Cathedral and historic quayside.
Exeter city centre provides substantial shopping facilities. Exeter's Princesshay shopping centre adjoining the Cathedral Close and the High Street was redeveloped between 2005 and 2007. Exeter High Street is mainly devoted to branches of national chains. On the other side of the High Street, the partly-undercover Guildhall Shopping Centre houses a mixture of national and more regional shops, and connects to the Harlequins Centre where smaller businesses predominate. Smaller streets off Exeter High Street such as Gandy Street also offer a range of independent shops.

Nice, there's a shop in Exeter called Wilko and it sadly shut down in Exeter Guildhall on the 8th of October earlier this month, this morning my mum found out it will be returning. I'm excited :)

Very tragic about the hotel, and still nothing has been done about it. I believe that the insurance payout isn't enough to rebuild the hotel apparently. Keep up the good work boss!
