- Hey loves, this is my current wash and go routine for my short 4c natural hair (Teeny Weeny Afro - TWA) and also a process on how I define my curls and make them pop! Learn how to do finger coils/curls on your short natural hair after a big chop to get super defined curls on 4c hair.

Just a tip for the deep conditioning, you could warm up a towel or a t-shirt with hot water and attached it to your head un top of the plastic cap

I'ma try that one! I don't have a steam cap either, I usually use a plastic cap and the blow dryer but that method sounds a lot less painful for my arm🥰

No no Ecostyling gel. It dries out hair. You can use a curl brush. You brush it all around your hair and it produces curls. Hope it helps. That style curls are fire on you girl. Love it 💕 Update.... My hair didn't break or shed that much. I had her do a deep conditioner, and Hot oil treatment. She braided it back. And I have a sharp short cut wig that I've been wearing. People thought it was my hair. It's Sharp. I'm letting my hair rest right now.

I like to use a BLACK scandal bag to steam my hair. The fact that the bag is black really keeps the heat inside the bag and the heat steams my hair and when I remove the bag you dont see any product lol lovely.

Gorgeous, but the curl process is too long for a busy, impatient woman, like me.
how long does the style last?
Please don't scratch your scalp with your fingernails it will lead to wounding on the scalp. You can try using menthol crystal to help with the itching.
The pleasures of short hair 😁! Love your voice and you are very patient! I only take 1 hour to wash my hair I just use gels and it lasts all week unless it’s humid! It sad you got heat damage! You are very beautiful!

@@deborahboms No I didn't make the rules. But there is a hair typing chart out there which im sure you're aware of. And based on THAT info + LOOKING at black women who's hair actually meets the 4c guidelines and with my well functioning eyes, just as I can say for sure that you don't have type 2 or 3 hair, I can also say you don't have type 4c hair.

Try a shampoo brush. It really massages the scalp well when washing!

How long does your finger curls last and how long did the finger curling process take
The process takes about 45 mins to 1 hour and can last up to a week but you have to refresh it daily with later and maybe some leave in because it would go dry and flat when you sleep

I want to do a big chop but my mom is an annoying ass hater and would probably only have negative shit to say. I go to college in 1 year and I’ll probably do it then.
Listen if you wanna do it, just do it. I did it in 2020 when I was in my 3rd year of college. It was great, I became much more confident in myself despite everyone especially my mother hating it so short. I think she didn't mind it so much after a while.
Hey I just did the big chop a couple months ago, can I still finger curl it without some of the products you showed? I only have leave conditioner and water. This is my first time doing my hair. I’m nervous about it and just need all the help I can get.

Wow. That hair style looks so great. I just clicked on the video after searching for videos about short hair. But I don’t know anything about curly Afro hair. I am amazed how many products you use and how much time you invest in your hair. It sure pays off.
For me with European straight hair washing and styling is a simple matter of 20-30 minutes using just shampoo, conditioner and maybe some product for blow drying. If in a hurry even just shampoo will do.
I also watched your video about the heat damage. I am very sorry that happened. And again, I did not even know that heat damage can actually cause you to loose your curls.
